I know that when you purchase an item in the Marketplace, sometimes people will PM or comment you, thanking you for their purchase.
But have you ever received a message like this? xDi love you meg thank you for the gold hoop earlings!

I always get those people that go "umm... sorry to bother you, but could i maybe give you [insert item offer] for that [insert item i'm selling]?" And i go "Uh... I'd really rather have gold." Usually the item is pretty close in value to what i'm selling, but i don't wanna have to go through the trouble of selling something else to get the gold i was trying to get in the first place. I'm lazy. XD

@Shindig: That happens a lot to me.
Or noobs persistently ask for gold or items even though I have it written on my profile that I don't give out stuff.

Ugh, I get those a lot when I have a higher priced item in the marketplace. Occasionally, the offers are close to what I'm asking, but often they're not even close. Do they expect me to just say yes without checking the prices or what? And also, I get the ones that go, "I gif evarythang I'm waring 4 ur item" and it's like starter clothes. I've never gotten anyone saying thank you in the marketplace, I don't think. I believe I've gotten comments in my profile from buying in the Exchange, though.
But it can go the other way, too. On Roliana, sorry to bring this into it but it really disgusted me, the MC Angel Wings are selling for about 750gold - 800gold. One girl posted that she was brand new to the MP, and that she had around 1.4k to offer. Would anyone take it? This user, crystaleon, posted saying that she would take the 1.4k plus all of the clothes this poor girl was wearing in exchange for the wings [total of like 3k - 4k]. Even the site creator posted that he thought this was horrible. I thought that was disgraceful. That user crystaleon is turning into a real exchange whore, and not the good type.
P.S. - Sorry if anyone knows her/likes her. But she is really starting to get annoying.

I've gotten that, too. I've also gotten people thanking me for buying their way underpriced items. It's weeeirrd. mad D
One time I was selling some donation item and a girl PMed me offering 5k under my asking price. I told her that I'm not the damned tooth fairy, and then she responded with, "well i just bought one so i'm not buying from you!" It's like.. that was kind of my point. Idiot. stare

Well, the since the buyer didn't take the offer (three or four people posted telling her not to), he can't really do anything. Technically, it was a valid offer, even if it was a rotten, despicable one... He can't like, ban crystaleon just for making stupid offers to newbies.

I was selling a nitemare collar and this kid offered my a solar cloak.
I didn't take it though.
I didn't like the item.
