Classic Rock has its wondrous songs from rock operas to uh... ballads or something. We've got our masterpieces from Dream On to Layla. What will come out of this?

That's right, there's not Pink Floyd. And that's because a whole bunch of wanna-be Pink Floyd Fans will flood my inbox about how much "that song that goes we don't need no education" which is a wanna-be's name for Another Brick In The Wall pt.2 should be on there, all I have to say is ******** YOU, you guys are the anti-floyds and their old stuff is WAY better than their relatively new stuff. See Emily Play can kick Comfortably Numb's a** anyday. And I end this message ******** you, you ******** ********: Queen, David Bowie and Styx were left out as well, because I don't think their music (sadly) would match up against the gods of rock.

If I had to pick one GREATEST rock song, it would be the simplest yet heaviest riff ever.
Smoke On The Water.

Smoke On The Water. I agree! The "simplest yet heaviest riff" and the GREATEST! I voted for STH though. Hmm.. Bohemian Rhapsody didn't make the poll? Oh well.

Ultima Squall okay, if I've never heard it, it's not the greatest rock song ever. How do you know? There's a lot of great music, especially in classic rock, that isn't regularly played on the radio. Sales and popularity do not determine greatness.

Oh, and I changed my mind.
The greatest rock song ever written is "Wille The Pimp" by Frank Zappa.

Of your choices, I picked Stairway to Heaven. Bohemian Rhapsody should really be a choice.

SilentFire Of your choices, I picked Stairway to Heaven. Bohemian Rhapsody should really be a choice. If Space Oddity didn't make it, then neither does Bohemian Rhapsody.

Of yours: I don't know, haven't decided. Mine: "Man of Miracles"-Styx. But I know, Styx isn't an over hyped band.
