Yesterday I went to the Vic in Chicago, to see the first night of Serj Tankian's Tour for Elect The Dead.
It was one of the most fantastic nights of my life so far, it was a little theater, and I was second behind the barricade through the entire show!
Serj and his band sounded amazing, as I expected, not really like System but still really good, and the minute Serj walked on stage the place turned into a mosh pit. I was five feet away from Serj for like two hours!!!Seriously,and the guy in front of me was having an epiphany. lol, I kept trying to touch Serj, and it was freaking amazing. <3

For some reason, once again, I've been kept from seeing any SOAD member live...
First the whole band at Ozzfest, now Serj's concert in like 5 days that I randomly can't go to. D:

I am so frickin' excited now. XD
What songs did he play? Was it all stuff from the album or was there some other stuff?
I know he's not going to play any SOAD songs, and rightly so, but I'm wondering if he might take us on a journey through some Axis of Justice stuff. whee

LUCKY!!! Hes coming here on the 18....but I can't see him cause I'm seeing Avneged Sevenfold....I got those tix before I knew the date he was coming...

I've seen Avenged Sevenfold and I really wasn't impressed.
Maybe it was the crowd surfers kicking me in the back of the head, but somehow I just didn't have much fun.
They put on a great show, and if you love them then you'll have a great time... but missing Serj to see them? Ouch.
I'm missing Dir en Grey to see him, and that really hurts for me. But I've admired Serj much more and far longer than those lovely japanese boys so our Serj wins by miles. 3nodding

Well I'm happy that you had fun!! Where do you live, because that's the show I'm going to. I live in Cherry Hill NJ....like....10 mins. or less from Philadelphia...the A7X concert is on novembr 15th. And Ice...I love serj and I love A7X...but I have a chance at meeting A7X cause my aunt knows them...theyre my fav band after SOAD...so...yeah...if i could see both I would.

Ive seen SOAD one time...and next time they go on tour...Im seeing them again...but yeah..If I could get tickects to Serj right now I would have a heartattack...but the concert is 2 days away =/
