I hate when people name the generations by the number of PlayStations out. For example, the Ps2 is called second gen, the Wii 3rd gen, etc.
The Ps2, Gamecube, and Xbox are 6th gen. The Wii, Ps3, and 360 are seventh gen. Get it right.

I hate it when people say PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube are first gen. first gen. was NES vs. Atari 2600 and all of those knockoffs. second gen. was SNES vs. Genesis vs. Neo Geo (many people leave out the Neo Geo), and so on, so forth. people really need to know what they're talking about before they post something in a gaming guild.......

The famicon is Japan's version of the Nintendo entertainment system. So its is considered to be from the same generation.

lol, I don't have a clue what gen we're in. My first consol was the ps1. I only know a handful of consols prior to it.
So which are we in? 6th or 7th?
