The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE ICE FIELD! The temperature of the stadium suddenly dropped several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifted for the upcoming battle. The floor was made of extremely slick ice, which would make manuverablity, even simply standing, difficult. Crystal-like pillars reached skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field.

Her third match in the region, and the battling still hasn't lost its thrill. "This'll be a one on one match, first pokemon to be KOed loses. Is that okay?" She asked to her opponent.
While waiting for confirmation, Luna slowly climbed onto one of the large pillars of ice carefully. After slipping down a few times, she finally reached the top and sat ontop of one. She took out a pokeball from her leg strap and released her seel onto the icy battleground below.
Ack! It was freezing! She mentally noted to always keep a blanket in her backpack at all times from now on. But Albireo seemed to be sliding around the battle floor happily, only slightly missing the large ice rocks at times.

[Sorry for so late XD Family stole me.]
Josie let out a sigh. Her first battle.
She licked her lips, feeling her Pachirisu rest around her shoulders, trying to keep the girl... even slightly warm, and oddly, it was working quite well.
The girl was nervous. She'd battled before, but... Not here, and not with Kozue.
Didn't help at all that they were now on an ice feild... Kozue was horribly fast, but... Still. Slippery ice... this would not at all be easy.
"Yeah, sounds good." She finally nodded, looking to the side, and down a bit, noticing Kozue, whose own gaze was trailing about. He was one smart little squirrel... he was already trying to figure out how to handle this fight.
Josie stared at the Seal for a long moment. He seemed more like he wanted to have fun than battle... she'd have to watch that though. No need to get cocky because her opponent's Pokemon seemed to be a ditz.
"Kozue, go on," She said, motioning off to the field.
It took seconds for the Pachirisu to spring from the girl's neck, and reach the field... slipping a little in the process...
This would... Not be so easy.

"Okay Albireo, time to get serious! Sliding headbutt!"
Albireo barked before making a swift turn and launched himself straight at Kozue, using his flippers to stay in line for the attack.

Kozue blinked, trying his hardest to move away, though the ice had made that quite difficult. He was hit, though thankfully, the ice made him slide, making the impact not as hard as it could've been.
"Kozue! Get Seal with Spark!" Josie called out, watching as the Pachirisu got himself together, and quickly jumped into the air, blue sparks reaching out from him, moving in the direction of the Seal afterwards.

"Slide away and aqua tail behind him!"
Albireo quickly shifted to the direction Kazue was while the Parachisu was charging its attack. Before the thunderbolt hit, he had already shifted under the smaller pokemon and had his glowing tail to whack the falling pokemon.

[Yeah. 800HP for any Second stage or Non-evolving Pokemon, and Pachirisu's are Non evolving,]
Kozue was slightly shocked, to see that his attack had completely missed. He tried to turn, though while still in mid-air after attack, he couldn't go very far. Soon, he felt the other's attack smack him good, making him hit down on the ice, sliding across. Finally he caught himself, pushing himself back onto his feet, waiting for an attack to be called.
"Kozue! Try a Swift attack!" Josie called to the Pokemon, watching then as the Pachirisu jumped again, flicking his tail, fireing the multiple stars out towards the Seal.

"Seal, let's run right through them and headbutt!"
Seal barked and then charged through the barage of stars, deflecting some with his horns but getting hit by the majority of them. He then aimed for Kozue, putting as much momentum into the attack as he could muster.

Kozue blinked. He'd barely hit the ground by the time the Seal had charged into him, forcing the Pachirisu to slide back, into one of the ice glaciers that where spread around the field.
Josie also blinked. She bit her lip softly.
"Kozue! Are you okay?"
She looked over at her Pokemon, letting out a sigh of relief when he stood. "Kozue! Try another Spark attack!"
Kozue nodded, quickly pulling himself up, and beginning the attack, just as he had the first time, though this time, hoping it would hit.

Albireo barked, allowing itself to get hit by the electric attack and then shooting jets of water, now filled with electric static, back at Kozue.

Kozue dodged with ease, moving clear out of the way of the water.
He'd gotten used to the ground. Instead of trying to run on it, he pushed himself, sliding across the ice. Of course, stopping wasn't easy, but thats why he always aimed himself for a rock or a glacier.
"Kozue! Use Swift, one more time!"
