They say that once there were mighty riders of dragons, they had great powers in magic and were highly trained warriors. Riding upon the backs of the dragons that chose them, they were feared and respected. The bond between the dragon and his rider became stronger over time, as a bird that learns to fly becomes bonded to the sky over time. A rider shared the dragon's long lifespan and knowledge and together both dragon and rider shared a long life bathed in glory. A two centuries ago however, something great and unknown struck the earth, all the riders and their dragons vanished, never to be seen again. A century later, a single dragon hatched for the elf, Gerthir, and along with the hatching of the dragon, named Goldeth by Gerthir, a chance to rebuild the legendary line of riders. Not fifty years later a female dragon named Vivian hatched, the mother of a new line of dragons. She laid a clutch of 50 eggs, so fifty elves or humans may bear the title of Dragon Rider.

Angry, Monkuta picked it up again to smash it against a tree, but as he did, it hatched in his hand. Since then, Monkuta and Usati have become a near unrivaled team of criminals and murderers. Rider Bio:Linku grew up alone in the forest, he became very skilled at hunting and tracking then when he was 15 he was found out and everyone in nearby village assumed he was a theif and attacked him but a very couragous man stepped in and made them stop, the man took linku in and let him live with him, he even taught him how to fight it was then at 18, a three years later he found a strange black egg hidden away in a trunk in dex's(the man's) house he then grabbed it out to admire its beauty and dex yelled at him to drop it but it was to late the stone begain to glow and exploded and in its place on the floor was a small black dragon, dex was rather surprised by this and was not too mad but more happy that it had found its rider and it was a kind boy, from that day on linku began to call the dragon Bain and they were always together in the village and everyone didnt seem to mind him anylonger, its been a few months since that day and though bain has grown he is still about the size of a dog, coming up to linku's knees atbest
Dragon Bio:Bain's egg was found by linku and upon contact he hatched, since that day they have been together at all times and do almost everything together, they have developed a stronge bond possibly due to linku's childhood either way bain loves linku not as a master but as an equal

Elf: Proud, usually with dark hair and eyes, sometimes has light hair and emerald green, amethyst, or sapphire blue eyes. Excellent at magic, swordsmanship, and difficult riddles.
Humans: A variety of different looks, personalities, and talents. Each has strengths in different areas. Usually not naturally skilled in magic or swordsmanship though these skills can be learned.

Lydia watched in silent fascination as a pure white egg began to crack, a dim blue light glowed within it. With a burst of white fire that made Lydia jump back, a young dragon emerged from the egg, her small body was marbled white, and she was adorned with sharp, deadly looking spikes. Lydia gripped her blade tightly as she watched the dragon shake itself off. The dragon unfurled its wings and stared at Lydia with golden eyes, Artemis, it told Lydia, my name is Artemis.

Raloth walked into the forest to go hunting but she was stopped by a blinding light. She walked over to the light and picked up a stone. It was big and hollow, it started to shake and Raloth dropped it in surprise. It cracked open and out popped a young red dragon. It suddenly ran over to her thinking she was his mother. She picked him up, "I shall call you, Hrothgar." She said to it. "You shall be my dragon."

Usati flew over a thickly grown forest, Monkuta sitting silent on his back. Something troubles you, Monkuta. He ducked lower to the ground, looking for fair game in the trees below.
Monkuta smirked. You are right, as usual. I've been noticing that our hunts hold less excitement lately. The real challenges lie elsewhere. He unsheathed one of his blades and spun it around a bit, thinking hard.
What would you suggest? Usati's eyes widened and he swooped down, jabbed into the ground with one massive claw and brought it back up, now munching on a light brown bear.
Monkuta thought over the question, his mind always wandering towards where the biggest challenge to kill would be. I hear news of many new dragon hatchlings to the north. Perhaps if we go there... He couldn't finish the thought because Usati had already made a sharp turn, spat out the bear, and flew north at top speed. "I can see you are as excited as I!" he laughed.
Forest sat on his bed, staring at the dragon on the floor, and the dragon giving him an equally awkward look. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Forest asked. But the dragon just scuttled forward ad rubbed its' small head against his leg. Forest blushed angrily. "I suppose you can't talk, can you," he mumbled.
But I can think, a voice in his head said suddenly.
Forest fell backwards onto the floor on the other side of the bed, and the dragon flew up and over, landing beside his head. "Was that you talking?" he asked shakily.
The dragon nodded and said My name is Vyseer, and we are now companions. There was a long silence.
