Hiya all,
What did you think of today's ep? (Or yesterdays depending where you are). I really enjoyed it, esp the last line with Casey's mom wondering about Splinter and Leonardo. That was classic.
It was great to see another comic come to life, same kind of plot but a bit different from the comic... of course with no one dieing, and with different causes for the terrorist. It was still good and I truely enjoyed it. biggrin

Casey's mom was a bit different... yeah... confused I have to wonder about her a little. But I love the fact that she put April through all that heck just to see how she would fair in life.... hehehe I also loved Mikey on the bike, but I love everything about Mikey. I liked the episode overall, it just did feel like something was missing, but it might also be the fact that I was half awake when i watched it. I'm sick, so I'm not all sane. At least not as sane as what I usually am. xp

The episode was terrific! I had a problem with how Don was moving the guy who'd been shot in the shoulder, though, since the way he was pullin' him might have actually caused more damage. (*Artue takes out her First Aid book and flips through it quickly* He should have been doing a clothes drag, where you support the head on your forearms and pull the victim after gripping his clothes so they hitched up under his armpits.)
eek Ahem . . *cough* ah . . other than that, I had family members saying "That's his mom?!" Me: 3nodding Them: "Looks more like a guy than a lady . . " Me: "A bit, ya . . but not so much as crazy little old monster hunter from that earlier episode!" 3nodding
And, yes, the Leo and Splinter stuff was so cute! 3nodding

Surprizingly, I actually caught some of this episode. I was awake because my girlfriend had to go to work early, and when the alarm went off, I decided to stay up with her. Anyway, I kinda liked it.

Someone actually did one of these besides me. Bravo!
I thought Casey's mom was awesome. Good subplot! And I told y'all that his name was "Arnold Casey Jones"!
(wonders how long it will take before Shadow shows up...)
And if they were "Humans Against Extra-Terrestials", wouldn't it be "HAET"?

I think they actually called themselves Humans Against The Extra-terrestrials. That's where they got the H.A.T.E. from. It's nice to have some regular episodes that aren't part of like a 3-5 part series. The only thing that bothered me about the episode was when missiles were being shot and trees were being blown to bits - how come Leo, Splinter, etc. did not hear it? Splinter didn't even sense any trouble. Also, that scene where Raph is trapped under the tree and the guy goes up to him and is about to fire the rockets at him - did anyone else realize that if he had fired the rockets at that close of a distance that he would have blown himself up to?

Okay . . maybe Splinter's radar was a bit "off" 'cause of Casey's mom. Maybe . . Oh! and it's been my thought, for years now, that bad guys often have no common sense (especially when it comes to their own survival!) and so I'm sure that it didn't even cross the guy's mind that he'd be blown up along with Raph. 3nodding

I think we've demonstrated, through the Raph-under-tree thing that these particular bad guys are not exactly playing with a full deck, S. wink I think I actually would have been more surprised if they'd thought up something better as their group name . . . rolleyes
