Augh, late off the mark, but once again YTV is made of epic fail. So, yeah. This'll be a running commentary, much like Seira's.

I got very very very VERY angry watching the Iroh scene... until the guard walked away. I believe my exact words were, "Aha, it's a ruse, it's a ruse!!" I freaked out when I first saw dazed!Iroh though. I was like, "OMG NOOO WHAT'S WRONG?!"
Awww, emo!Sokka... I was wondering how long it'd take for him to reappear. He'd been absent since The Serpent's Pass.

I KNOW THE SWORDMASTER'S VOICE FROM SOMEWHERE. It's irking me. I recognized it from the trailer. But... what?! Gaaaah.
...I'm thinking this guy's part of the White Lotus Society. Just the hand motions. They seemed very... Bitter-Work-Iroh-ish to me.
Toph has a foot fetish, I KNEW it. Well... I mean... obviously. That's like, her sight... o_O; I have a sinking feeling that the number of Toph-ship fics relating to foot massages are going to SHOOT up.
Aaaand clearly all the humour in the gene pool went to Sokka.

XFD Fly is hilarious.
Tokka is fun though... Not my favourite Kataang but it's a close second or something. Sorry for messy notes. No screenshots to take nots on.
WHITE LOTUS! Sokka's super special now.
I half-expected Sokka to hit himself in the nerts with the nunchuk.

And ZOMFG!!! -gurggles and dies- Iroh is soooo awesome. He's trying to escape or summat. BUT OMFG! -remebered back to Winter Solstice part 1 when he was a fat man-
IT'S ALL GONE! And I loved how like two strands of hair made him look like crazy man and when he pushed them back he changed personalities or something.
TophTophTophTophToph. I just love her to bits. Not sure why but it's probably the her-being-blind-but-impossible-to-look-down-on thing.
Her crush on Sokka is adorable.
XFD Katara makes the stupidest jokes. She made me laugh her jokes were so stale "If you miss him so much why don't you marry him."
GRAH! Meteorite sword is awesome. It's black and I was all "That... is the awesomest sword ever."
Toph's space earth seems useful and it's gift from Sokka. TOKKA! -shot-

How did I not pick up on the White Lotus stuff? I need to re-watch the episode.
Goddamn, though. There was a lot of Tokka in that episode.

*Ahem*
If you are reading this, then I, Mage Negi, being of sound and mind or however that phrase goes, have officially died from an obvious Tokka moment. I leave all my spam email to the internet and will donate 1 lira to some random group of people.
The rest of my possessions, consisting of an old newspaper, a water bottle, and a wad of gum, may be shared among members of the guild. These items will appear in front of the members in a recycling bin, a waiting office, or under a desk.
Anyway......
Dear God I was afraid of this episode before the season even started. I remembered one scene in the trailer where Sokka was in the armory and Toph was behind him. After I heard the title Sokka's Master I thought Toph went to go watch him train. I breathed a slight sigh of relief when that wasn't exactly the case during that scene but I practically had a heart attack at the "Why don't you marry him comment?" comment followed by 20 simultaneous heart attacks when Toph said she missed Sokka, lied about not missing him, and when she blushed.
Let's face it, I got p'wned.
The only thing I have left to hope for is that Suki reappears and Sokka focuses back on her. I'm trying to be optimistic and see the Space-earth thing being a "As a friend, I thought you might like this" gift instead of a "I return my feelings of love for you" gift.
Moving on away from Tokka.....
I also took some notes this time as I watched the show: (quotes and other little things but previously mentioned stuff has been deleted)
“I’m just a Lemur-sitter?”
“We don’t get the hero worship anymore. I miss the love.”
Sokka’s a shop-holic?
The nunchukus reminded me of a Simpsons' quote: "Nunchukus: cool but useless."
Was it just me or did the armory salesman look a lot like Iroh?

How did Sokka get color from black ink?
(And yes, including this part. >.< )
“I miss Sokka.”
“If you miss him so much, why don’t you marry him” (I died)

(I was wondering why they showed that last flashback)
After all that, I find it very, very, very strange that I think this was the best episode of the season yet. I want to rewatch it but edit out the Tokka moments.

I was just explaining the Negi VS Butterfly situation to my sister. She watches Avatar with me occasionally, and she just stared at me and said, "But I thought it was Aang and Katara, and Sokka and Toph...? Toph hates Sokka. Therefore, they will have babies!"
Well, Negi, I'll agree with you on the space earth probably being more friendshippy than relationshippy. But, hey, I'm still taking whatever proof I can get and running with it.
I was kinda wondering about the coloured ink too. o.O Sokka is, uh, magical?

No, lion TURTLE. Jeez.
Hmm, I don't know, I don't think so. I don't think he was officially inducted. I think the piece might come in handy to prove that he is friends with one of the members.
It WAS the best episode of the third season. It's my second favourite episode to date. The only reason it's not my favourite is because Lake Laogai was SO DAMN GOOD. It had everything this episode had plus the Freedom Fighters!

Butterfly Nebula I was just explaining the Negi VS Butterfly situation to my sister. Every time you died, I squealed and jumped up and down. Afterwards I was grinning stupidly for about an hour. And, admittedly, thinking, "Negi is gonna HAVE to admit to this one." I still find it funny that we have this battle xd "Negi VS Butterfly in an all out brawl. Who will be victorious? Who will FALL?!?!?!" (Meanwhile, I limp onto the scene while covered in bandages) After that episode I immediately thought, "Butterfly is going to have a field day with this one." Ah, okay. One of my neighbors' dogs barked during that scene so I heard "A lion-tur*WOOF*" By the way, guess which option I voted for in your poll.

I love Sokka's sword. how it was made out of a Meteorite. Iroh is totally buff! I was like, "Woah, he's freaking buff!" I like how Toph can bend metorite rocks and stuff, it looks cool. It's like play-dough. I didn't care much about the Tokka related things, but it was a good episode.

OH! and too add, I believe the reason why Irohs working out is because what else can he do in jail? and besides who see it comeing with him keeping his pillow on his stomic and acting off his rock? So now they think hes crazy, fat and old, when he is in fact, Sharp as a sword, in shape like a young governator, and hes still old...but come on its super Iroh...when he was already bad a** to begin with! and I belive hes doing it to help in his escape or his over throw plans, cause its iroh and you know he has a plan

Sokka's Master was definitely a heavy blow to me so now I must look for signs that Tokka is not going to happen on Sokka's side (doesn't see her as more than a friend, still has feelings for Suki, that sort of stuff). One thing I wanted to ask you guys was do you think Katara knew what she was asking when she said "Why don't you marry him?" I mean, she said it trying to make a joke. I'm wondering if the others might or might not know about Toph's..............gah, I can't say it! gonk

TOKKA!!! heart heart heart heart heart And Iroh is being awesome, duh. He's probably planning on escaping; he probably has the means. I'm not sure firebenders can stand melting metal but maybe at some point Iroh will go 'get this weak s**t out of here' and bust out. And for that it's better to be physically prepared. Look at it this way: he's misleading the guard, making him believe he's a goner, while he's actually the renewed dragon of the west. Quote: Okay, is he fighting against him or with him...? Do you get what I mean? ...you mean... Zuko? I'm at a loss there, though. I do hope he beats that whiny b***h's a**, but I can't make a serious speculation about that. I wonder if Sokka will use the name Li later on. It'd be weird, because it was the same name Zuko used to escape the fire nation, while Sokka would use it to get in. Also, I hope Sokka becomes some one like the sword master (I didn't understand his name) and Iroh; someone who sees worth and opportunity in all the cultures. He's getting mixed in with all the nations, and he probably learned to appreciate that with the sword master. Plus, he now has a connection to the White Lotus society, and those guys don't go around wearing Nation flags. Sokka's cute. The sword master was badass too. Toph has like, no limits to her awesome bending skills Ok ok ok, to summarise: yayz, character developement, Tokka YAYZ : DDDD
