So how many of you watch this show?
I've been watching it since season 1 and it's getting real good at season 3.

I watch it. I love it, it's progressively gotten better each season and it really has the complete package. I love the music, the cast, the story, and the animation.

I love this show. I own the first season on DVD, and I plan on buying the second season once I have more expendable cash. The cast is amazing, and it keeps getting better every season. I had though Aang was my favorite character; he's cute and funny, but also sad. He doesn't want to be the Avatar, but he has to do it since he's the only one. But then in season 2 I met Toph... she is just pure awesome. Her blind jokes make me laugh.
I like how the characters follow an archetype (young hero and so forth) without getting too stereotypical. Like, there is no token female character that is just silly and kind of useless. Toph and Kittara are strong, intelligent, and full of depth. And even on the Fire Nation side, Azula's crazy, but she's kind of running the show as far as her brother is concerned.

When I saw "Sokka's Master" I felt they finally put to rest one of the questions in my mind "Doesn't Sokka feel useless for not being able to bend?", then he thought that, and went to get trained. When he wasn't with the rest of the group, they found that they lacked something without him, and when he returned, he returned better than before.

I thought that was a good episode (even if I did think it was a little ridiculous that he finished his training in two days, but oh well). Sokka's the one with the plans, and he's the one that keeps them laughing. It doesn't seem like much in comparison to the abilities of the others, but if Sokka wasn't around they wouldn't know what to do, and all of those great abilities wouldn't matter.

For all we know, they wouldn't have made it to the North Pole in the first place if it weren't for Sokka. According the the group, he's the only one of them that knows how to read a map. Just so I could get it out of my system: OOOooo Toph loves Sokka! razz

Ha ha yeah.
Argh. This week's episode was kind of lame... I really don't like Zuko pairing up with Mae.

Calica Ha ha yeah. Argh. This week's episode was kind of lame... I really don't like Zuko pairing up with Mae. I'd have to disagree, this episode showed character development between the 4 teens, rather than show them as two-dimensional villains. Even though Azula says that she couldn't care less that Lady Urza cared more about Zuko than her, what Azula really wanted from her mother was to be accepted by her. and she tried getting her mother's acceptance through the only method she understood, success. Since she was named after her grandfather, the firelord before Ozai, who was also successful, she has a burden of not doing anything to tarnish her grandfather's name through failure. If this episode didn't happen, we would have just continued to see these 4 as evil, Zuko especially because of his betrayal to Uncle Iroh.

You're right.. I think I'm mostly bothered by the Zuko/Mae pairing, mostly because I think Zuko is just doing this as a matter of convenience, because it is what the people around him would expect and want him to do.
I did like the character development, though the only one I had thought of as actually evil was Azula. And Zuko's conflicted character was already made apparent in, I think, the second episode, when he went to see Iroh in jail. He was obviously looking for Iroh to say something that would give him a reason to believe that he had made the correct decision by helping Azula.
I've always like Tai Lee (is that how you spell it?). Though, I don't know why she likes Azula so much; the girl basically threatened her life unless she joined in the Avatar hunt.
And despite her confession, Azula is still a very discomfiting character. (She even agrees that she's a monster.) I still think she had another motive behind asking Zuko to help her, besides wanting his help in the fight.

Who knows what could have happened to have Zuko and Mai pair off while Aang was off in dreamland. Of course it does seem sudden that Zuko opened up to her.
As Zuko once kept mumbling... "Azula always lies"

(A little bit late but) I really enjoyed the last episode. It revealed so much about the past, and cast some light on Zuko's troubled character.

Katara bending blood reminds me of Tokia Mikagami from Flame of Rekka when he used blood for his water sword madougu.
Also, for those that have seen Day of Black Sun, I'm sure we've all been expecting for Zuko to do this since season 1.
As for Aang, we've been expecting him to also do a certain something since season 1, got a red herring before this episode.

I finally got around to catching up on the episodes I'd missed. God, Zuko's adorable.
I wish they would air more of the episodes... I got really spoiled by that 10 episodes in a row thing they did for the first half of the season.

Okay, so 14 and 15 have leaked to the interwebs since Nickelodeon is silly and releasing episodes on DVD before they hit the air waves. So I wonder--should i cheat and watch it now, or torture myself be patient and wait until July...
