It's hard to understand this concept. After all, how can anyone be 3 beings at the same time? Also, why does Jesus then pray to God if it is himself?

I just thought it would be interesting to see the views of others. Personally, I believe that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all connected in some way that humans do not understand.

well im trinity penacostal but im not sure what that means. but i do think that they are 3 seperate being because i never understood how if Jesus was supposed to be Gods son how he could be God himself if you understand what im saying. i think that maybe the holy ghost and Jesus were the same because it was Jesus's ghost. i think i just need to learn some more before i can give an honest opinion.

It's like three different parts of God. Like people have their body, their soul, and their spirit.
Body is you right here, Soul is Emotions, personality, and thought, and spirit is partially personality but mostly your spirituality.

thats an interesting way of putting -- so i guess god is emotions and jesus is the body -- but jesus ahd emotions too didnt he? and i think god and jesus have mroe of a personality than the holy spirit -- we can only speculate

I'm just putting it so we can see it more clearly by Human perspective. God is a spirit, so He of course isn't a soul-It's just that humans have that three-part aspect just like God, we just ain't as Omniscient and Omnipresent and all that good stuff...

Well, let's see... What does the bible say about it? And the rest is up to you and how you inturpret it I guess. And, we don't have to know how it works, if they are the same person, because God is too much for us to understand. That is just my belief anyway.

that's how I'm thinking of it right now. The trinity isnt' bound by physical laws so they're connected in a way that humans can't quite grasp.

Well, it's always worth checking up on, I could always ask someone when I go to church next.

First off, I don't think we'll understand everything with our limited human minds.

The way I see the trinity is that all three are of one. Like a head, a torso, and lower body I guess? All three are of equal power, not one is above another.

I think Jesus might have prayed to show others they should do the same too? I don't really know. Just my personal speculation. No evidence to support this.

I think we've all concluded that we can't really comprehend all of God. I mean, we're...carnal and crap. Oh well, God Bless this dead thread...

There once was a wise man that walked somewhere. He gave his interpitation to everyone. God is like a Three-leave clover, it has 3 differnt leaves, yet it is still one. The three parts of God are differnt, yet they are still connected. This wise man is St. Patrick. This is the reason we have St. Patrick's day, because he thought of something nobody else could think of.

So that's where the clover comes from? No wonder he's a saint...I guess... confused

My mom used to be a day-care provider. She had to know a lot about the differnt holidays and such. She told this to me and the other kids when I was young. I still refer back to it, to this day.
