 A giant garden full of medical herbs for the village. It was made by the Otokage and Duke so that the village would have more medical support. It is located just to the west of the village center in average sized building, in the building, medicines are mixed, while the garden lays behind this building, fenced off by a large wooden gate. ~Character Data NPC~ Name: Jasmine Village: Oto Age: 15 Gender: female ~Appearance~  Height: 5’6” Weight: 110lbs Hair: An odd blondish color that is obviously bleached. Eyes: Warm brown Physical Description: picture Clothing: picture, and tan colored pants that end at her knees and are covered with pockets. Personality: Loud and rambunctious. She loves to giggle and converse with ninja. Jasmine loves music, often very hardcore things and listens to it all the time while gardening. Other: Works in the garden often. Herbs that are grown in the garden:Aloe The gel of aloe can be found in its leaves once cut open. Aloe vera gel is extremely effective when used to treat burns and frostbite. Ingredient in: Burn Salve Effect: Stimulates healing, Hp recovers +2 each turn for the next 15 turns ONLY if it is a burn wound. Cannot treat conventional wounds. Black Cohosh This tall plant's roots are said to work quite well against rattlesnake venom. Ingredient in: Rattlesnake Antidote Effect: N/A Coffee Beans Never underestimate the power of caffeine. Ingredient in: Concentration Juice Effect: Stimulates nervous system, keeps you awake, Dodge Bonus +2, Move Silently -1, Hide -1 for 50 turns. Club Moss Ingesting this herb's mixtures will make you feel more alert. Ingredient in: Concentration Juice Effect: Dodge Bonus +2 for 60 turns. Holly This herb deals with reducing hostility. Ingredient in: Soothing Tea Effect: MHp +10 for 10 turns. Kava Kava This South Pacific herb helps with reducing anxiety and enhances alertness. Ingredient in: Soothing Tea Effect: MHp +30 for 50 turns.

Duke comes in the newly made garden, a gift from the otokage. He goes and picks up some of the herbs found for the oto clinic. He made sure to leave a high amount for them to grow again quickly.

Though the garden was near the clinic, it was still on the other side of Oto's gates. Akeru wasn't bothered by this knowledge, knowing very well it was simply rice farmers that dwelled in the small town neighboring the estate-like garden. Akeru wasn't surprised to find the door open and pushed until the great wooden gates creaked open. He couldn't help but allow a small gasp to escape his lips. This place was lovely!
His expression saddened because the garden resembled so much like his beloved Konoha. The great trees, lovely emerald green fields... But different too. The Uchiha child mused as he looked over the bridge to stare into the great pond, with all its goldfishes. No no, he shouldn't get distracted. It was best if he begins searching for the aloe now. And the garden was large, so it may take time.

(sorry, i am a horribal speller.)
Seta's clone had stayed hidden up untill the point where sento made it through the gates. He walked up behind the boy silently as he was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the garden. " Your not really a transfer student from konoha are you? " he asked politely as he stroled by him into the garden. Was this student really arrogent enough to beleive he could fool a Jounin?
" Well, reguardless. Your research skills are impressive. " he said giveing the boy a way out should he so choose to keep the truth from him. Seta could tell that the boy had lied, but he wasn't about to force the truth out of him with out a just reason. " You seem very eager to learn. A thirst for imformation? " he said. " Are you actualy interested in learning, or is it something else? Something personal? " he asked. He was keeping the conversation in a general tone. as if meeting a best freind for the first time and learning things about themn such as their favorite food, color, or type of music. "Ohh, and you might want to look that way. The aloe plants are mixed in with some others in that bunch. " he said pointing to a far corner of the garder. The aloe plants were entangled with another thorny bush used to keep the wild life away from them.

Akeru didn't look to meet the Jounin's gaze. After a long moment, he murmured his response, voice quiet. "Then no, then." And to the Jounin's other comment: "Konoha did value research skills." The light breeze combed through the boy's neat raven hair, semi-long tips making him seem even more feminine than usual. "Eager? I...suppose you can say that." Another long silence, and this time Akeru did eye the Jounin, hazel eyes near black-gray in the pale lighting thanks to the great trees of the area's provided shade. "No...I won't tell you. Neither an obstacle or an advantage...so it matters not." With surprisingly nimbleness, Akeru plunged his hand between the gap of two twisted vines of thorns. Not a single drop of his own blood spilled as he successfully derooted the aloe on the other side.

Seta sat on a near by bench. The wood on in which the bench was made from was a very dark color so Seta's body was outlined very clearly. " Ohh, i'm sure it did. After all, the Nara clan and Aburamae(I know i butcherd shinos clan name) are both from the village. " he said with a smile. " So its a natural curiosity to learn then? That is wonderful. Good for you. They say that the quest for knowloge(sp) is the most noble of all. " Seta then leaned back on the bench and stretched each of his arms out to either side.

Even though Akeru appeared to be fully concentrating just on extricating the aloe from the thorn bush, he was carefully listening to the Jounin's words. "I'm from neither of those..." He murmured softly, the words almost chewed out slowly, his only answer after a long moment. A rough pull ensued and the aloe came free. In the moments that followed, Akeru examined his hand for the extent of the injuries. A scratch or two but he had not torn the flesh nor spilled a single drop of blood. Pretty good for a first attempt...though perhaps there were many more wiser (and safer) methods to reach the aloe.

Around the line of thorn bushes, Akeru repeated the process, sharp eyes easily discerning the aloe among the thorny branches. He was more careful the next time around, certainly more wiser...as the Uchiha boy had used a rough stone he found on the ground to cut away at some of the impeding thorns. After all...these thorn bushes were only a safety measure enough to keep the birds away from eating the plants. Not that they would be missed or had any important sentimental value. His dark eyes narrowed slightly as he concentrated on freeing the aloe from the thornbush.

So he had gathered four aloe samples...but just to be on the safe side...Akeru decided to bring along one more sample. It never hurts to be safe rather than sorry. Hm... The plants were beginning to get trickier to locate. Then that means he should switch to another area. Akeru began looking in the thorn bushes opposite the miniature lake and sure enough, when he looked, there were cultivated aloe grown entwined with the thorny cage. A light 'tsk' escaped his lips when he observed this particular patch more carefully. This one was going to be a tough one to extricate. But that was alright, if he is careful and patient, he would not be hurt by the thorny branches.

Seta leaned up and sat properly on the bench. " I never insiuated that you were. You did say your name was Reimei right? " he asked out of curiosity " what is your clan specialty? " he said twidlleing his thumbs a bit. Seta was quick to become bored, however he was also easily intertained. So maybe he's just a gifted student. His attitude is a little poor though. Maybe hes normaly lazy and is just makeing a good first impression? That could either mean he's a hard worker and needs someone to incourage him, so he's working hard to impress me so i'll push him. Or he's actualy extreamly lazy and just wants me to become favored of him so he can slack off later. Wait a minute, I am talking about a 10 year old right? Well what are the chances he's actualy thought this out? I should probubly just play it by ear. He thought, watching the boy train and waiting for a responce.

With a final tug, the aloe came free. He almost hesitated. Almost. "Hai. With the characters for 'towards dawn', sir." But it wasn't a categorized lie, for his real name did have the same meaning. "My clan...?" This time he did hesitate, just slightly. And his next words were careful, guarded. "They are a ninjutsu-based clan." He replied simply. Though they specialized in genjutsu... But he made no attempt to enunciate the after-thought, only provide a broad generalization. And there were many thousands of clans that were ninjutsu-based, in Konoha alone notably many. "Finished." Akeru said softly, after a long moment.

"Reime!" Rosie ran towered her friend waving her hands. He was already done, but he hadn't goten time to move to far from the spot she wanted to be anyways. "Santa?" Rosie stoped leaning on her legs as she rested. She had run all the wave from the Clinic, and she still had more work to do, foolish idea on her part.

"Ow, Daughter of a KUPO!" Rosie screamed as she thought without consiquance and grabed a hand full of the barbed plant. Her cuts where now bleeding, and in fact her emrald blood dripped softly off her finger tips. "Man that really her she wined." Holding her one hand limp.
((That was a continuation of last post fyi))
Rosie clenched the shoulder strap of her bag in her teeth as her good hand carefully shifted through the barbed plants and gathered the much softer aloe leafs. She did not look down from her gaze as the horizon, even though the sun was placed directally in her eyes. She droped the leafe in her bag grnunting a little as she tried to get a better clench on the shoulder strap. Rosie shruged her arm, the bloody hand stinging as fresh blood ozed slowly from her wounds. She would have to get her hand checked out later for now she had a mission that needed compleation, and what better way to disapline herself then starting young.

"Ho, Rosie!" Akeru greeted cheerfully as he carefully tucked away the gathered aloe samples into his backpack, balancing the bag on one shoulder as he reached for one of the many zippers. And as he lifted his head, his eyes met the pale morning light which filtered by the great trees of this garden creating dancing emerald fire in his ever-changing irises. He lowered his eyes away from the light and they darkened, before becoming fully obsidian, then returned to their usual gray-blue once more.
To Rosie's surprise, Akeru concluded there was 'another Seta' back in the clinic. Nay... He doubt the Jounin even left in the first place. Logically, the chances of this Seta here being a clone was probably about 88%. A slight smirk crossed his face as Akeru laid a scrutinizing eye on his 'instructor'. "Haha, I would say not." He murmured cheerfully, not saying anything more before taking a seat on one of the wooden poles (at one end of the bridge near the artificial lake) for a brief respite.
Akeru decided to wait for Rosie to finish her task, and settled on analyzing his surroundings instead. This place...was rather interesting. Taking into consideration the near-by terrain, Akeru would bet it wasn't naturally made. And the trees here certainly were different from that of Oto's neighboring forests, or for that matter of the village itself. The lake... Probably created by ripping the ground with a Doton Jutsu and collected rainwater. For to the great rice fields of Oto, rain was no uncommon stranger...

Rosie reached her hand back into the jumble of barbs and soothing aloe leafs. Her hand nimble missed everybarb that it may have come in contact with, but grabed the aloe leafs it crossed paths with. She skillfully droped the leafs back into her back wincing as the bag grew heavier in her mouth. Rosie closed her eyes giggling, if she keeped her mind of the task ahead it made it seem shorter, but if she keep thinking about how much more weight was to be added, well that task would never get done. So she let her mind drift as she found the plant with ease plucking this little patch clean. She moved to the left as she crossed paths with another jumbled mess of some dangerous plant and the much needed aloe leafs.
