~Silent Kitten~ mangshra ~Silent Kitten~ Lander gave a brief nod and then a smile. "Look for the one you're trying to find... Your daughter." He gazed down at his paws for awhile after he breathed his reply, not being so sure that she even wanted to look for the other Sitara.

Lander slightly nodded at the females question. "Yeah, i was in the middle of catching my lunch when i found you." he gave a quick grin before continuing. "When you are feeling better..maybe we could look for food?" It was a half question because he knew that he would go out anyway for her, if she wanted.

"Just because my shoulder hurts like someone cracked it open and threw fire into it doesn't mean I'm helpless." She said getting up, but what she had just said about her shoulder and how till felt wasn't a lie. It hurt like hell and just getting up was a chore but Abby was no push over.

Lander wisked over to her side, attempting to help her up with a nudge. "Are you sure?" he breathed, concered. He was pretty sure that Abby was not taking her injury serious or she was trying to prove something to him.

Lander nudge her sore shoulder, Abby shut her eyes tight and clenched her jaw. "Yes I am." She said after a min so she could catch her breath.

Lander stayed near her for support. He wasn't sure if she was really hurt but somehow he trusted her. The dark Sitara started to move near the entrance of the 'room' and looked back at Abby, wanting her to follow. If she could.

Abby couldn't be weak now, she needed to be strong to show to her self and to other that she was strong no matter what. Be it that her kits had felt her on...not the best of terms or a sore shoulder, she wanted nothing more then to be strong now and not falter in anyway. Abby limped to the entrance of her home and just had to shake her her in spite of her self. "I can't make it...I know I can but if I do I know my shoulder will be on fire tomorrow." She sat down and lifted the leg attached to the sore shoulder. "I'm sorry to be a bother."

"As i thought.." he whispered to himself. He gazed at her before saying anything, obviously lost in his thoughts. "I understand your problems Abby, you don't need to prove anything.." he trailed off a bit, finding himself having awkward feelings toward the situation. Time brought him to continue, along with self consciousness. "...weather it's to me or to yourself. I can plainly see that you are hurt. Finding food for the both of us isn't a bother." he finished and curled his tail around his paws, waiting for an answer.

Abby looked to him in thought. How did he know her thoughts? The thing she felt she needed to prove. "You?" She didn't understand the first part but she got the rest. "There is a black berry bush out back if it isn't picked clean by now that is. The stream to the side of us normally has fish in it." She told Lander, and in a way she was giving him her answer.

Lander slightly nodded and studied her face alittle more before speaking up. "I was mearly guessing..I don't know your reasons, but yeah i'll check out the bush." He started to turn the other way before looking back; "Be careful..Abby.." he muttered before slipping away outside.

Abby was about to call out thanks but she swore she heard him say something else. Something like 'be careful' and with thoughs words running over in her head she wrapped her tail around her self. She was very curious now.

"That was close..." Lander whispered to himself as he bounded down a narrow path from the fallen trees. He wasn't sure if he should have said anything at all, but it wasn't in his nature to keep others guessing. Except for one thing maybe. Trying to clear his thoughts, he focused on his current mission; finding food for him and Abby. Using his keene sences, he tracked a berry bush not too far away. He nimbly wisked through the bramble and fern, and halted right in front of his find. "Ah ha!" he exclaimed, almost out loud.

Abby doesn't like to sit still for very long so she thought she'd hop up to the top of the tree to get a better look out of the ground below. Carefully she hobbled up the incline of the tree that was her home, all the way to the broken off top. She had a beautiful viwe from up there. She hoped she'd catch site of Caelestis or even Loki flying in the sky with that witch. But she was also looking to see where Lander had gotten off to.

Lander swiftly batted a few berries off the bush and watched them land on a big leaf he cleverly placed under the plant. He continued this motion intill he was satisfied with the amount he had gathered. Now the fun part... he had to drag them all the way back to the den. Carefully nipping the end of the leaf, hoping to get a grip.. he tugged little-by-little, making his way back. "I hope she likes them!" he told himself.
