Monenoke was stretched out idly on the ground resting. Lids opened as golden orbs peered out into they sky, clouds bubbled overhead bunching together massing into a large and darkening sky. Perhaps Rain? She thought to herself, Kamali was out to wander in the woods while she took the day to just relax. They were planning on visiting Kamali's old pack. Thoughts couldn't help but stray to Haku, a scare still hide under her purple pelt from where the alpha had cut to the bone. Mentally she still had an open wound that had been left unnattended, never had she been called a 'traitor' before. It still hurts... She mused to herself.
She paused wondering if she should get up, honestly she didn't want to, but somehow was convinced. Noke slowly sat up on her haunches, the day was hot and muggy just the right mix for a thunder storm. Her mug lifted to the sky before turning back to the forest, nostrils inhaled the oxygen around her as orbs scanned the terra firma around her. Auds then pulled back on her skull as a yawn escaped her black mug. She shook her fur ridding the dirt that had stuck to her pelt which had gathered beads of sweat.

Whisper had been wandering around for the larger portion of the day.. looking for Kamali. Once she had run into Haku and had been reminded that she hadn't seen her brother in so long, she took it upon herself to find him and see what had become of him. Haku hadn't shown any signs of seeing the pale green wolf, so she began to grow worried, thinking only the worst.
Different thoughts kept racing through her head, all leading to horrible conclusions that she didn't want to think about, so the femme just shook her head and continued on, hoping she wouldn't have to turn around and head back to her den before she found Kam. Or maybe she could settled somewhere around here for the night so she wouldn't have to check the same places.
As she pondered over where she could possibly stay tonight, a somewhat familliar scent wafted into her nose. Suddenly the omega stopped and lifted her head, ears perked and nose quivering as she checked the air over and over again. "Noke?" she asked herself, not knowing just how close the purple female was.

The purple femme just sat there studying the terra when a familiar scent coarsed through her nostrils. Whisper? Auds perked listening for any falling paw steps. They twisted atop her crania, dial turned as orbs gleamed towards the direction the scent was coming strongest from. Yes, it was definately Whipser, there was no doubt of it. Monenoke cocked her head back, jowls parted to release a call. The howl rose from her throat, it called for Whisper as well as letting her know where Noke was located.
Above the wolves and the forest layer up in the sky the clouds continued to form. Then from the sky a rain drop fell on her and splattered on her coat. She was quick to shake it off when two more fell onto the ground. Oh, well... She thought, a little rain has never killed anyone. Instead of trying to find Whisper, she stood where she was instead of trying to find the femme then have the both of them running in circles trying to find each other.

Whisper was about to take another step forward when a howl broke through the silence and caused her to stop mid-step. Her head shot up into the air and she even woofed in response.. just out of instinct, too. Now she was almost sure it was Noke, the howl sounded like it would belong to the purple wolf because for some reason she remembered how Noke's voice sounded. "Noke," she repeated again, this time heading off in the direction of the howl.
And, so as not to just appear suddenly and for the other female to know just how close the omega was, Whisp barked repeatedly to reveal her whereabouts. They also said 'I'm coming, just wait!'

Monenoke stopped to listen, audits perked forward straining to listen for Whisper. Then her triangular ears twitched as she heard several contineous barks. There... She thought, as she approximently tried to find how far away Whisper was. Nostrils flared slightly tracking the femme's scent so she could meet her half-way. So Noke traveled not too far away, she padded through the foliage to see the one and only, Whisper. A smile slid onto her mug, "Heya Whisper!" She called, her tail wagged behind her as orbs glinted. She tested the air to then smell other scents on Whisper. She assumed Whisper had found a pack to call home, Monenoke was happy for her. "So, what brings you out here?"
