I just got my lip pierced again on Saturday, and I now have a cold sore on it. It hurts like hell, and I have no idea what to do about it. I don't have anything to help heal the cold sore yet, but I'm going out tomorrow to get some. It also smells really bad. Bla. >.<
Any advice?

i'm not quite sure of this. but saltwater? i know it helps with cold sores, and it's sometimes used to heal piercings, so i'm pretty sure it won't have any horrible effects on the lip piercing.

salt water is all I can really think of as well, and just waiting it out.
I know exactly how that feels though. I must have been super stressed or something but I randomly got 6 canquer sores on the inside of my bottom lip, along with 4 on my tounge web right were the barbel in my tongue sits. It was hell.

Sucks. .___. I'd just stick with salt water too. There are some topical anesthetics you can get for cold sores too though.
