I can't stand people that are close-minded, intolerant, and ignorant. Like Christians that go around telling people that they are right and everyone else is wrong, and if you don't believe what they do you'll go through extreme torture for the rest of eternity. Another thing is I can't stand missionaries. They go across the world to help people, when there is people here who are starving, and have a shitty house and car, and can barely afford to live. I quote from a pastors speech that I heard when asked why he doesn't help the people here instead of over-seas "I do it because they are ignorant of God". What kind of bullshit is that? Just because people here don't choose to be like you, you don't give them what they need so much. Also, what is so wrong with gay people? If a guy want to have butt-sex with another guy thats his own business, not yours. I was watching a show and this one woman who was politically involved in some way said that in the Bible it has pro-slavery in it, and the Christians back then saw it was wrong and they changed and that even though it is also against gay people, they should change again and become more tolerant and accepting of gay people. I'm happy, a lot of my friends who are Christian are much more accepting and tolerant than the older people. I think everyone, including myself, needs to become more tolerant.

Uhg, like the people who don't like Halloween and don't let their kids read Harry Potter because it has witches and wizards in in. I hate those kind of people. Of course I'm a defender of the old beliefs, IE fairies and the old gods, but also a Catholic so they think I'm going to hell.

i'm catholic though i dislike the church and it's views on some things (homosexuality for example). and it sucks that people start to dislike all christians just because a number of them got the whole thing wrong sad

Yeah everyone needs to be more tolenat. Oh and you shouldn't bash the hell out of relgious people. I'm not going around saying you're a damned soul who going to be burning in hell. Nor was it pro slavery. The bible hasn't been changed only translated from Hebrew to Latin to the rest of the languages of the world. And back to the slavery s**t, people took certian verses that made it sound ok. Heck the damn Natizs tok science and made Jews look insuperior to everyone. I'm a Luthern and I foolw the same beliefs, different practice as those Catholic. And in the bible it was a city so bad that everyone turned gay. The people who are gay today are not evil. I'm friends with Aethists and Auotasts(sp) Do I shove relgion down their throats telling them to believe no. I respect their views and they respect mine. So respect each others and stop all the dissing.

But we did get to read better fantasy like Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, the Never Ending Story, etc. But don't worry, I don't think you'll go to hell because you are a Catholic. I had a friend who was Catholic and I was fine with that because I think that anyone who has Jesus as their Lord and Savior is saved and will go to heaven. =)

Some Christians are like that and some others are not
It may bother you but it's their freaking problem, their money, their reputation
You don't lose anything but patience
Christians are always portayed as religious fanatics
And what about Muslims or Buddhists?
No one ever critizises their practices or beliefs or their love for their religion
(Until 9/11, of course)
My point is that people should mind their own business as long as they are the only ones affected by it
If some christians want to help others by teaching their ways its because they are happy/found happiness and wish you to be content as well
...Of course there are some who are too...anxious...about sharing their beliefs
And it's annoying, I know
But saying that you hate when they do that isn't going to keep them from their goal

Another thing I am intolerant of is posers, and people who try to get everyone to feel sorry for them and act like their life is horrible, and also two faced people.
