wel yesterday me and some friends had a good time when we went to see the eastpak antidote tour

4 bands in a not too big of room....it was a very good room...nice sounds and well the bands were mostly awesome...
i dont think you all like them

but first up was
sonic syndicate....we came in a bit too late so we did not see everything of it...but they were cool..
i still do think that if they would growl a little lower it would sounds better...but all in all a band with allot of potential

after that was Caliban....none of us really liked them...and wtf was that they were wearing...they had those white shirts...and all have a different bloadstain/wound somewhere...
like omgs mudvayne....that was my first thought anyway....but no not really that great....they have it in them to write cool riffs because here and there in their songs you can hear some good stuff but they play that for like 4 seconds and then change the entire rittem again....oh well thats metalcore i guess...not really thing though...
and their frontman was a bit of a poser...

after ******** dark tranquillity....
i never really gave them a good listen becuase for some reason i found their vocals disturbing on the mp3...but life was amazingly cool....and they really got the crowd going....

and after that the band we've all been waiting for...soilwork...
i know allot of you dont really like em because they've gone towards metalcore...but i still do...and it was a great performance....and they knew how to get the crowd going....and they played the best songs offcourse....a little short unfortunatly but overall very cool....

so after that we went home with sore throats and tired out neck muscles...at least i did and i still feel my neck allot...

xp xp

so did anybody else see a concert lately?

rofl Sounds like you had fun.

Actually I saw Megadeth last week. It was at a House of Blues, which is just plain awesome. My favorite venue thus far. Anyway, Megadeth had two openers, The Confession and In this Moment. So they sucked, and it was HILARIOUS because, well I was in the pit right, kind of just before the middle. There was a couple of small groups that were totally into the opening bands but I swear everyone behind me was just standing there, arms folded with like this pissed look. I thought that was great. Anyway, Megadeth was a great show, seemed like Dave was kind of tired though. Yet it was great, and I met some great people too. xd

When that happens, all you do is push your way in front of them. Trust me, you don't have to be polite at shows.

Yeah, that happens to me a lot. Especially since, I don't know I feel like I shrink a foot or something when I go to a show and sometimes I have a hard time seeing. But I'm too nice to shove people around, usually if they do that I just try to scream louder.

well that happened to me this week and we had this stairs that went from high to low....
and i was at the edge of one of them and when i turned around to say something to a friend...they passed me and stopped right there....but i just asked them if they would please just step down...and they did...
like Erin i'm not the kind of guy that just pushes people away...then again...if i would and they would turn around..they'd see this skinny short guy that really isnt a thread whatsoever so they'd just step back...
or kcik me in the face xp xp
but i hate it when people just do that...i always just wanna step right in front of them again with my head in their face...to show them how annoying they are...

Right, it's really annoying. A guy did it to me last week and I just wanted to chop his head off because before he got in front of me I could see perfectly. But for some reason people liked to start random mosh pits and so people moved around a lot.

hmm sucks...
i never get that much in front though...
mostly more next to the sound control panel thingy...
good overview and stuff like that...
except for riverside...we were in front there...and i hope we get to be in front there again in december....

btw i also cant stand that a hall where the concert is held has a low stage and no stairs....becuase mostly i cant see anything either...
lol at stream of passion that was the case....the only thing i saw was a glimpse of the drummer and bass player....and something of arjen lucasses head...but thats not very weird because the guy is freaking tall...
wasnt really cool...

I'm 6' tall. I don't have that problem much, and plus, I'm always down front either moshing or in front of the stage headbanging, not standing and watching.

I have a chance to see Therion and Aesma Daeva in the next couple months. Should I try and go?

Shadows Fall's older stuff isn't too bad.

I like Static X and I think I thought about going to that show. Depending on how much the tickets are and how easy it is to the venue would usually weigh heavily on my willingness to go.
