Have ya ppl ever seen this anime its really good and the art is lovley nevermind the neverending slashable moments i mean Yuuri our main guy is accedntly enage to wolfrom another bishie ^_^nevermind he get insanely jealous whenever someone is around Yuuri.

Spoils ahead.

Oh all of you should see it without a doubt. It has humor, a bit of serious issues, and lots of fun with pretty boys. First of it is about our boy Yuuri. Yuuri is your normal guy part of his local baseball team. One day he is walking home when he sees another classmen being picked on by a bunch of bullies. Yuuri, being the brave little man that he is, questions their actions. They, the bullies, imediately turn onto Yuuri while the other classmen runs away. The bullies drag our poor Yuuri to a female restroom to get a swirly, a swirly is when your head in placed in a toilet and then the toilet is flushed.

Obviously Yuuri is upset about having his head flushed in a toilet but he soon finds there is a lot more to worry about then getting a bit wet, because he ends up actually getting flushed down the toilet! He is then transported into another world, many people have mentioned this is much like the dragging of Miyaka (spelling) into the book from the series Fushigi Yuugi. When Yuuri gets to this "other world" he discovers that he is KING! Or the Maou as they call it in the anime. I am not sure if "Maou" means king in japanese or what. Anyway on to the "fun" part of the anime.

When at his first official dinner Yuuri must eat with people he has met when coming through the toilet. He met Gunther (my fav) a happyily obsessed man. He is obsssed with Yuur, although you will note this is one sided and not exactly "romantic" more like a school girl crush, Gunther is the fan-girl of the series, even if he is male. Yuuri also met Conrad (Konrad) the kind fatherly figure. Gwendal, the stiff elder brother of Wolfram. Wolfram the "pretty boy" although this pretty boy has an attitude. With an insulting 'I am so above you manner' Wolfram is your classic spoiled, temper tantrum throwing, noble.

This attitude of Wolfram ends up getting him into some trouble. When he insults Yuuri's mother (who is human, where as Yuuri's father was originally from the other world and is not human) Yuuri becomes quite upset with Wolfram. Standing up Yuuri slaps Wolfram right across the face. Then Cecille (spelling?), Wolfram's mother and the former maou, jumps up and questions Yuuri instantly. "Do you take it back?" Of course Yuuri says no because Wolfram had no right insulting his mother in the first place. Although Yuuri was not aware of some certain ... complications that would occur due to this slap. See in this world if a noble is slapped by another noble it is considered a proposition of marriage! So now the young (15 years old) Yuuri has not only found himself in a different world which he is the king off, but he is also engaged, to the lovely cute Wolfram.

The series continues to go on and describe various duties of Yuuri as the maou, how Yuuri has agreed to somehow help defet the humans, and end the war in the country. Not to mention eveytime he is exposed to water he is dragged back and fourth between worlds. Also Yuuri has to figure out these new mysterious powers of his which come out whenever he has a strong feeling of anger or objection. He transforms into the offical maou, with powers and all. It's humerous, sometimes serious (although this isn't quite so often), and has so much boy action you could scream with happiness. With your classic I'm an ordinary boy who is now king and about to be married to another boy trama this series will not stop entertaining you!

That sounds really interesting! I can't seem to find a torrent for it... :/ So is it only available on DVD or is it possibly done under a different title?

It might be licensed. Some torrent sites don't allow licensed anime. Or at least try to keep it to a bare minimum. I don't really have time right now to check to see if it's been licensed. Maybe later this afternoon

The anime is based off of a series of novels and it is about to begin a second season in Japan this month. The first DVD of the series has already been licenced (I've already got it in my Netflix queu).

That does help, that you, I'm always trying to learn Japanese but the book I've got is only the basics so it's not really as relyable as I wish it could be. sweatdrop

And lucky you! Wicked's DLing the first series, but it's taking her awhile to do, I'd help if I could, but I don't have Brod ban, so while it's taking Wicked Days/weeks to DL, it would probably take me months. sweatdrop Wish we could get Brod Band.
