Battle Field Randomizer!
(-copies Duelist- xd )
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE GRASS FIELD! The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustled the flat grassland arena, sending small clouds of harmless pollen into the air. The land is completely flat, making manuverability easy to those build to walk on land.

Luna strolled into the stadium, clenching and relaxing her fists to calm her nerves. It was her first battle in this new region and she couldn't help but be nervous, eventhough this match was only a casual one with a fellow trainer she had run into.
Both trainers approached the center of the field. "This will be a one on one pokemon battle, no timelimits, first to be KOed loses. Since there's no official judges, I guess we have to self judge. Sooo..." she paused, thinking of a way to determine who goes first. "Let's play rock paper scizzors?"

Lixue was slightly nervous when she walked into the stadium. Her first battle with her pokemon Ai, a seel. "Do your best," she whispered to the pokeball.
Lixue stood acrossed from Luna. She nodded towards the other trainier. "Sounds good. Rock, paper, scissors then."

'Wooo! I go first!' Luna mentally cheered to herself.
"I guess I win!" Luna said, half excited and half nervous. She walked to her side of the arena and then let out Albireo from his pokeball. "Okay! Let's do this Albireo!"
She erased all her tension and replaced it with her anticipation for battle. Her hands were shaking a little, not from fear, but from excitement.
She waved to Lixue who was a couple yards away. "Let's do our best and have a good match!"

Lixue nodded back at Luna and then turned and let Ai out as well. Ai bounced happily on the grass and barked a few times. Then looked around at the grass arena and looked rather irritated for a moment before noticing she was to battle another seel and felt better about it.
"Do you best Ai," Lixue murmured to the seel.
"Bark bark!" Ai replied back.

"Yosh! Let's knock them over Albireo!" Luna shouted, punching her fist into the air.
Albireo barked happily in response before launching himself towards Ai in a zigzag-like pattern, weaving through the grass. Albireo is on drugs has difficulty running in a straight line due to the constant frustration of the grass itching on his fur, he felt very tempted to stop right then and there and have a scratching session, but continued on the course of his attack.

"Alright Ai, take him out with a horn attack!"
"Bark Bark!" Ai takes off bouncing awkwardly across the grass and launches at Albireo. "Bark bark!" she lowers her head for a horn attack.

(Aren't you suppose to respond to how the attack hits? o.o )
"Albireo...roll over!" Luna said, wondering how it would work out. A bit of instant thinking.
Albireo rolled around the grass to the side, but was still a litttle slow and got his tail hit by the horn attack.
"This is your chance! Aurora beam her!"
Albireo started gathering rainbow colored energy at his horn and faced Aurora, now in very close range.

(I'm not sure....well, let's do that now)
Ai flew across the field and was cushioned by a thick patch of grass. "Bark!" and she flipped back over.
"Minimal damage done. Amazing!" said the narrator of the battle.
Lixue growled a bit. "Ai!" She looked over at the opponent. "Ice Beam!"
Ai barked and hopped up and gathered energy and then shot a massive ice beam at Albireo.

"Albireo, use your head! Headbutt through it!"
Albireo barked in acknowledgment and started flopping(?) horn-first into the icebeam, not taking in as much damage as a critical hit, and launched straight through the attack and directly at Ai in a headbutt attack.

"Dodge it Ai!"
Ai moved but got hit in the side and bounced a distance. "Bark!" she growled and got back up.
"Ack! Ok Ai, you use your head too! Headbutt him!"
"Bark Bark!" she bounced off and went straight at her opponent.

"Roll roll roll! Right into that thick grass!"
And Albireo did immediately. Thanks to the grass being hard to move in for the two flippered pokemon and rolling giving Albireo a movement advantage, he was able to dodge the attack just barely.
"And come back with another aurora beam!"
Albireo barked and charged up yet another aurora beam to fire at the other seel through the grass.

Lixue made a face. "oooohhhh...that's gotta hurt....you ok Ai?"
Ai, who went sailing across the field in a rather damage filled attack popped back up, but started to look worn down.
"Ok Ai, let's try that Ice Beam again."
"Bark...bark..." Ai prepared herself and shot another Ice Beam in hopes of some damage.
