Ariston was content for the most part, but his daughter seemed to be the complete opposite. She was avoiding him, and it was bothering him! He really couldn't make up his mind, and his daughter always tended to be some kind of conflict in his life. She was either TOO clingy, or TOO distant. But, such was to be expected from his daughter, since he himself was always overly dramatic.

Luckily, Loveless had returned early that morning, only to stand behind Ariston as he was doing his daily grooming. Ariston could only smile when he saw his daughter's reflection in the water, since he was happy to see her, and he was also always happy at the sight of her beauty.

"Good morning dear," he then said, avoiding any other kind of question that might scare her away. "How are you doing?" With a flip of his mane, he turned his body to face her so he could initiate the idea of walking out of the shady area. He needed some sun, especially since his skin was all dampened from the cool water.

Acting quiet as usual, Loveless grinned at her father's good morning, but then sighed as she watched him finish up cleaning himself. If her prediction was correct, he had probably stood there for hours before FINALLY being satisfied. She knew this was his own ritual, but it did drive her nuts watching.

"I am fine, and you?" But was she fine? Lately she had been feeling odd, and an extreme wave of emotion was constantly following her as if in a cloud. "Today seems as though it will be a nice day.." Well, that was the hope of course. With a quiet sigh, she walked next to her father while trying to contemplate what was dwelling in her mind. She had started feeling better about herself, but half of her was still shifty and confused about strange reactions her body was feeling.

Hopefully it was nothing, and Loveless tried to remain calm throughout her strange emotions. "Where are we heading?"

Humming to himself, Guilian made his way along the river, his own attention at least slightly drawn to the handsome reflection looking up out of the water. It was a beautiful day, he looked stunning, he had nothing on his mind to incite worry or disquietude…it was a great day.

Well, scratch that. He did have a slight, niggling worry in the back of his mind with regards to his youngest son, Leon; according to Amary, he was even more withdrawn and isolated than usual these days, a most troubling state of affairs in Guilian’s mind. Even though the boy was a kind, sweet stallion, he always seemed to be just a little bit TOO quiet and sweet. The next time he was back in the region Leon occupied, he’d have to stop in and see him…

However, thoughts of that serious nature were abruptly dismissed as a familiar mane of blonde hair suddenly caught his attention, and with a hastened step Guilian trotted up the river towards Ariston and Loveless, calling out merrily, “Well well, looks like everyone wishes to be on the water today, yes?”

Ariston grinned when he not only heard a familiar voice, but saw the rush of red in front of him. "Well Guilian, fancy seeing you here!" Acting as if he was a youngster, he playfully greeted Guilian, with a spunky grin and stompy hoof. "How goes it Guilian? Its been waay too long, as always." Ah yes, but no matter the time, their relationship was always healthy and strong! "Keep me posted!"

Ariston had almost forgotten his daughter's quiet presence, and he turned to quickly to answer her question. "And yes my dear, I see this day as being a fine one. Especially now that Guilian has graced us with his presence. First it was you, and now him. I truly am a lucky stallion, don't you think?." With a hefty laugh, Ariston thwacked his tail and felt more excited then ever.

Loveless melted at the site of Guilian. Guilian= Antony, and Antony = ???. Everything about Guilian's appearance brought back memories of her encounter with Antony, and her mind became plastered with worries and pains. She hadn't seen Antony since then, and she also hadn't discussed the scenario with anyone. When she thought about it, the scenario itself didn't even make sense. She loved the time she spent with Antony.. but it was hard enough seeing Guilian in front of her like this!

Just looking at Guilian's eyes gave Loveless a twisted feeling in her stomach, and she tried to ignore the dizzy anxiety that flustered through her brain. Sheesh, she really couldn't catch a break with herself!

"Hello Guilian, nice to see you again." she then added, with a kind tone, before turning back to her father, "My, you are as cheerful as ever. But it is a nice gathering, isn't it?" Loveless was basically questioning the scenario herself, and she felt her stomach gurgle with worry. Guilian just HAD to appear, and she was completely off-guard.

"Ah, my total agreement on that, Ariston. And I must say, it's a true tragedy when such devoted friends as we two allow so much time to pass between meetings."

Beaming, Guilian trotted up to the two Soquilis, sweeping them a graceful bow of greeting as he slowed to a stop. Turning his attention from Ariston to Loveless, he gave the mare a charming smile in return for her kind words, his eyes bright as he looked over the mare he'd last seen as a filly. How she'd grown!

"Loveless, you are truly a vison in black, and it is my pleasure to see what a poised and graceful young lady you've become. I'm sure you must have a great deal of attention from the stallions!" Chuckling, he looked away from Loveless to give Ariston a knowing grin, a shared smile of fatherhood. "But then, I am sure you were expecting such, Ariston!"

Tossing his mane, Guilian stretched his wings slightly, strolling around to the other side of Ariston with his usual languid energy (yes, I KNOW that seems like an oxymoron XD). "And things have been quiet for me, now that the younger two have grown and are on their own, but I can't complain. And how are you two?"

Ariston nodded in agreement at Guilian's comment, and started to lower his wings since they were feeling too heavy on his sides. "Well, we are both at fault for allowing this to happen, so at least we are able to patch up some time and reacquaint right now!" With a confident nod, Ariston then listened happily as Guilian complemented his daughter, and smiled politely towards the end of Guilian's speech.

"Ah yes, the children are doing well, so that means you are doing well yourself! I am just fine, nothing new to report. Maybe I am becoming boring!" With dramatic eyes, he laughed for a moment before looking at his daughter. Her eyes were trailing off somewhere, and Ariston was confused on why her thoughts her taking over her entire being. He wondered how someone could think so much, and he tried to pull her back into the reality at hand. "It really has been awhile since you have seen Loveless, Guilian. She really has become something great." And with that, he patted his daughter with his wing softly. "I couldn't be more proud of course."

Loveless usually enjoyed compliments very well, but she let Guilian's pass while evaluating the situation more. Antony obviously hadn't told his father, since he was treating her as completely normal. But still.. she felt left behind, and craved any kind of information from Antony. It was a strange sensation, and her anxieties were starting to get the best of her.

Never in her life had she thought so much, and it was starting to get annoying if anything!

She could only give Guilian a small nod, before turning to her father's kind gesture. "Oh jeez father, trying to look impressive in front of Guilian?" With a light giggle, she arched her back and allowed her achy body into a slender stretch. "I am doing fine myself, Guilian. Just spending my time.. wisely." Did that sentence even make sense? With a flushed anger, she coiled her tail around something and looked at a tree in the distance. "Pardon me, I seem to be off today." Or rather, seemed to be off EVERY day.

"My father tells me you had another son and daughter, congratulations Guilian." Trying to save herself from her gibberish before, she nodded happily and tried to patch up her words.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 09, 2007 10:26 pm

Well, he couldn't argue with that. Smiling ruefully, Guilian inclined his head in acquiesence of Ariston's words, perfectly willing to shoulder at least half of the blame for their long absence. "I agree...though I'm sure you'll excuse me if I disagree with you on the 'boring' part. As long as you have spirit in your breast you can never be boring, Ariston, and I'd say you're still very spirited."

After standing for a few moments on the other side of Ariston, Guilian once again resumed his pacing, unable to keep still for even a short while when there was nothing to lean against. It must have been a strange sight at that, the lithe red wind wandering along beside the two kalonas. It was certainly an attractive trio of colors, if nothing else...

But now his mind was wandering. At Ariston's comment, he once again turned his attention back to Loveless, perfectly willing to take advantage of the opportunity to admire a beautiful mare, never mind that she was off-limits. In his mind, there were only three types of mare that were off-limits: those that were related to him, those that were involved with his sons, and those that were already in a committed relationship. Loveless, as the daughter of his best friend, managed to fall firmly in the 'related' category.

But he wasn't above giving compliments as due. "Indeed she has, Ariston...even if that braid is the only thing about her that looks like you. Still, I know how that goes; after all, the only thing that Tony has that resembles me is his mask! Our of all of my children, he's the one least likely to be recognized as my own as far as physical traits go, I've always thought."

After all, Nicky, Neve, and Amary has his wings, and Leon had his coloration of the hair. Antony, with his white body and purple mane and tail, was the most removed of all of the children. Not that Guilian minded, f course; it just made Antony look more dramatic!

But, back on topic, he gave Loveless a roguish smile, tsking at her while shaking a wing. "Are you trying to suggest that your ather would put on airs, Chica? I am appalled to hear such blatantly accusing words, especially from his own daughter! To think I'd live to see that day...but then again, I suppose it IS natural. Ariston is such a cocky fellow, isn't he?" Glancing sideways at his friend, Guilian allowed his eyes to dance in pronounced amusement; after all, Ariston would be the FIRST to admit he was arrogant, if Guilian knew his friend. Though that didn't mean he couldn't tease him. "You are a wise mare, Loveless; if you learned anything from your father, then I don't doubt that you've at least enjoyed your life, yes?"

However, as Guilian turned to look at the mare his dark eyes were thoughtful, wondering at the way that the mare seemed to be distracted, flushed, even tense; it was very much as though something powerful were on her mind, and while he knew it was none of his business, he couldn't help but be curious as to what it was. Ah well, a mystery for another time, perhaps. For now, he simply bowed his head and beamed at the young mare. "My thanks, Chica; Leon and Amary have provided me with even more excitement in my life, something I muyst admit I've had less of these days now that Nicholai spends almost all of his time in the farthest reaches and Neve spends so much of her time around Izusa. I'm sure you can both understand my reticence to risk such proximity."

At that, Guilian gave father and daughter a wink; if nothing else Ariston ought to know what he meant. "Unfortunately, due to Antony's proximity to myself, Neve rarely makes the effort to come and see me; for the same reason, Antony rarely makes it to see his mother, as he doesn't wish to encounter Neve. It's a tragedy for everyone involved when siblings can't get along, Chica, and also when parents can't remain getting along. Take this from one who knows what he's talking about, Loveless; never sleep with a stallion unless you first consider that you might very well have his foals, and if that happens you have a duty to your children to let them know their father as well as you."

Breaking off as he realized he was moralizing, Guilian let out a chuckle and ran his wing through his mane. "Listen to me, going off like some elder; I swear Ariston, I MUST be getting old!"

~~~
His head sunk slightly in thought, Antony walked down the opposite bank of the river just a mere bend or two upstream of the three Soquilis. Today, he was yet again looking for his father, wishing to talk to him about how complex things had gotten with his life lately and maybe hear an opinion or bit of advice or something. Talking to Guilian was almost always productive, after all...
Ariston chuckled at his friend before continuing to fluff his massive hair. "Ah well, I am thankful that there is at least ONE person who doesn't find me boring. I try to remain as hip as I can for some people." And with that, he gave a little eye-roll over to his daughter.
Loveless was now ignoring her father, since Guilian had taken her full attention. "My father is who he is I suppose, so I can't say I would want him any different." But then, at Guilian's other comment, she felt herself swallow a lump in her throat. "Yes, life is enjoyable..." Ugh, awkward, much? Life WAS enjoyable at the moment, since she had regained her sanity and all. But still.. she hated being reminded of her terrible thoughts of when she was truly unhappy.
She felt sort of sorry for him when he spoke about his family. She must have been lucky with her father and mother.. but then again, she was the problem child when she was younger, and that made her feel kind of unsettling. "I am sorry to hear there are many conflicts with the family. But as long as they are happy and well, that is all that matters, right?" Trying to cheer up his words, she felt hopeless in her own fakeness. She was sort of aware that Antony and his sister didn't get along, but the reasoning why was now playing out from Guilian's words.
... 'Never sleep with a stallion unless you first consider that you might very well have his foals.'...
That sentence echoed in her brain, and she looked up towards Guilian with a forced smile and a cringed nod. Ugh, what? Seriously? Did Guilian know EVERYTHING?!?!
She didn't even know what to say about that.. and about Antony.. and about the possibilities..
"Yes, you are full of wise advice, Guilian." She finally mustered out, and her body felt clammy as if she had done the ultimate wrong. But had she? Or maybe it was a secrecy that was driving her insane, since she couldn't be open to the two people standing in front of her that would care the most..
"Guilian my friend, you don't LOOK a day old, so that is pish posh if you ask me." He then added, after his daughter had spoken. "You can learn quite a lot from Guilian, Loveless. He knows these things even better then I!"
PostPosted: Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:30 pm
Pleased as he was at the response his brilliant words of wisdom had gotten, Guilian nevertheless felt as though something very interesting was going on. As he turned to smile a thank-you at Ariston, the red stallion allowed his gaze to lock onto Loveless’ for one brief second, his dark gaze piercing. She had something on her mind, alright; why else would she be almost stammering, shifting uncomfortably, and forcing herself to smile and nod and react? She was in the presence of two stallions that had devoted their lives to the study and interpretation of the female form, so she ought to know that such ploys were hardly likely to escape interest.
Or did she mean for them to notice something strange? He’d have to ask Ariston about that later. Or maybe just ask him for a moment alone so that he could ask him…
However, as Guilian turned his head back to the white stallion, he caught sight of something that made him (at least momentarily) forget all about any intriguing mare behavior. “Antony!”
~~~

On the other side of the river, Tony had just rounded the last bend and was now in full view of the three other Soquilis. At the sounds of his father’s voice he looked up in pleased surprise, only to be giving a shock himself. He’d been out in search of Guilian, after all, but finding him with Loveless and Ariston was hardly part of the scheme.

For a moment, he simply stared, wondering what the proper thing to do would even be. But after a moment, he straightened up a bit, squaring his shoulders and giving the three his best smile. “Hey Dad, Ariston, Lessy; imagine meeting you all here like this!”

As he spoke, his gaze unintentionally slid to Loveless, the words more a comment on her than anything else. Honestly, he was amazed to see her in the company of her father, in the company of HIS father, for all intents and purposes having a casual conversation. That had to mean something, considering her earlier antagonism towards the ‘lessers’; that she was here now could only mean that she’d been telling the truth they’d met before.

Realizing that, Antony’s grin widened even further, a warm, happy feeling deep in his chest. So she’d been truthful, he’d been right to trust her that crazy afternoon! Talk about a relief…

Spreading wide his wings, Antony easily crossed the river after a few running steps, alighting between Guilian and Loveless in the little triangle that seemed to have formed between them and Ariston. Having then settled himself, he looked around at the others with a positive energy that was almost obscene. “Am I interrupting anything?”

Ariston gleamed when he noticed Antony appear, and he shifted his posture at the newly tall figure. "Hello Antony! Now how lucky is this, to have a full reunion in front of us! And of course you aren't interrupting anything, I am quite pleased to see that you arrived." With a usual smile, he eyed Antony before feeling satisfied by the confidence he was emitting.

Since their last meeting, Antony looked as though his confidence had improved. Just the way he stood and carried himself showed Ariston how much he had grown as a stallion. "How are you doing Antony?"

When Loveless saw Antony appear, she felt her body lean against her fathers. Was this seriously happening? Was she seeing things? Or was her Karma really THAT BAD?

Either way, she needed to shape up, and FAST if she was going to control herself during this new scenario. "Hello Antony." she then said, while giving him a warm gaze. "It is nice to see you again." Yes, that was casual enough, and she hoped that was the smartest move she could make at this point.

She then turned her gaze over to her father, who seemed to be enthralled with the situation. "Its been awhile since you have seen Antony yourself, father. I am sure you are excited." Her acting was somewhat believable, but she figured if anything, Antony was as surprised as she was.

"It really has been awhile, hasn't it Antony?" Ariston then mustered, before moving his wing to pat his daughter's long braid. "You look great, and I hope life is also treating you well?" He somehow wanted to hint at Antony that he was proud of him, but he knew well enough not to bring private matters into a group.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 10, 2007 10:28 pm

Ducking his head a bit sheepishly at the praise from Ariston, Antony tried not to look too pleased. Then again, last time he'd talked to the older stallion it had been in much more serious and much more...well, personal circumstances. This was much better.

Straightening up a bit, Antony tried to shake off that sheepishness, taking on a more serious and 'manly' stance. That failed miserably, of course; he seriously doubted he'd ever feel anything BUT youthful around his father and Ariston. That didn't mean he couldn't try, though. "Well, I'm doing well, honestly. You know, keeping busy, wandering, meeting people, all of that good stuff."

Though he tried to keep himself neutral, Antony had to almost literally force himself to keep his gaze on Ariston; it had been trying to shift over to Loveless almost the entire time he was speaking, so much did he want to talk to her. She hadn't given him a lot of time to talk after their rendesvous, after all, and seeing her here just made him want to speak to her all over again.

But it was strange; even though he doubted either Guilian or Ariston would have any issues with the idea of he and Loveless being lovers, he didn't want to necessarily talk about it or put it out there. It was just a thing, after all, and he could very well see them making something of it. Somehow. Even without intending to.

So why was it so hard to keep focused?

While Antony was speaking to Ariston, Guilian stood beside his son, beaming proudly as he looked him over. Though Antony had been looking for him for a month or so, at least two or three had passed since Guilian had last spoke to his son, so this reunion was an important one for Guilian as well. There was much to talk about, alright; he'd probably have to keep Antony around for a while after they parted with Ariston and Loveless, just so he could hear all the details of what Antony had been up to!

But he was certainly looking well, with fresh roses in his hair and a prouder, taller frame. As though he needed anymore height; even Loveless was taller than Guilian in this group. But oh well. Antony wore his height well, Guilian had always thought.

Smiling at that, Guilian reached up to pat Antony's shoulder with one wing, a fond smile on his face. "Indeed, you are looking marvelous, Tony. I can see that in your case I would be foolish indeed to suspect you of needing to be worried about; indeed, you look capable of looking after us all now!"

Had Antony ignored her? Loveless was now staring at him and only him, while biting her lip occasionally. He wasn't looking at her at all, and in fact, he was completely ignoring her! New emotions filled her brain, and she felt weepy against her father's side. Was Antony really that ashamed of what they had done? If anything, Loveless thought the entire experience was wonderful, but from the looks of things, maybe Antony was thinking something different himself???

She let her eyes then trail to the ground, and her tail swished back and forth in a constant motion. Although her mind was flashing with thoughts, she looked completely calm, and maybe hiding a bit and allowing the boys to talk would keep the Antony situation as stalled.

But still, many thoughts kept reoccurring in her mind. Should she make a leap, and just address Antony openly? That would be odd though, and put their fathers in uncomfortable positions. But at the moment SHE was uncomfortable, and she couldn't stand it!

Ariston chuckled at Antony's answer, and nodded in a assuring manner. "Well that's good, I am glad you are busy. And yes Loveless, he is as impressive as always. Everytime I see you Antony, I wonder if you have grown more. Maybe you have that affect on people?" Still holding a comedic smile, he flipped his tail into the air and eyed Guilian happily.

"Seeing them both here makes me feel old, buddy. But as I keep telling myself, at least we look awesome at the same time!" There he went again, worrying about their age. But why should he worry, they not only had gorgeous kids, but still looking amazing at their age.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 10, 2007 10:53 pm

Belatedly, Antony realized that in his effort to not act any different than usual, he'd managed to completely snub Loveless. Whoops. Now, the proper thing to do was address that, apologize, and actually answer that question. But would that be weird, coming this much later in conversation? Would she just think he was trying to be cute? Was it really that big a deal? And why did it seem like such a big deal when it really wasn't? And was he agonizing too much?

The answer to that was probably ‘yes’ as he, without really realizing it, trailed off into a rather thoughtful and highly noticeable silence, his pale eyes locked intensely on what appeared to be Ariston’s front hoof.

Needless to say, that was slightly original behavior, and attracted more than a little amusement from Guilian. Watching as Antony’s cheeks flushed and his head dropped, Guilian turned to give Ariston an amused look, commenting, “There, see what you’ve done Ariston? You’ve made him feel so guilty at being a fine young adult and making us old that he can’t even look you in the eye anymore. Really though, I don’t suppose I should be surprised; look at Loveless, after all.”

This, as Guilian realized that both Loveless and Antony were staring at the ground, caused him to chuckle even more. “Either we’re very intimidating, the ground is very fascinating, or we’re very dull; which do you suppose, Ariston?”

However, light as his tone was, Guilian was also a bit surprised at Antony’s behavior. It wasn’t like him to leave a question hanging like that, nor to pass up the opportunity to snark his elders. It would seem that Tony, like Loveless, had something on his mind...

Ariston sighed, and shook his head dramatically. And if he couldn't get more noticeable, he strode away from the group for a second, cracking his neck lightly while he was in thought. He then rolled his eyes back at both Loveless and Antony, who had a gap in between them from where Ariston's spot used to be. The golden stallion then moved himself so he was next to Guilan, and now he and his friend were facing his children head on. "My goodness, Guilian. What seems to be going on here?" And with a furrowed brow, he looked at his daughter, who as always was being her emotional self. "Loveless has been acting this way for awhile, so I am not surprised to see her this quiet."

He wasn't going to admit it was bothering him, since that would be too embarrassing on his daughter.

"But Antony, is my presence really that overbearing?" And with a light laugh, he then turned his attention back on his friend. "Whatever shall we do, since we seem to have two silent children at the moment. But its not like that ever stopped us from talking." And with a usual wink, he grinned before allowing himself to coil in his thoughts.

Although the situation was strange, he wanted to at least appear to be positive. But he was thinking as carefully as Guilian was, and continued to watch the two kids with uttermost confusion. What exactly was going on here?

Loveless felt even more distraught when her father's side had left her, and her entire body almost lost itself in balance since she had been leaning on him so much! She wasn't surprised by his words, and she only watched him from her position, before slowly eying the Antony figure to her side. Ah yes, Antony. He looked wonderful, as always. But, she couldn't eye him too long, so she quickly snapped back into her father's gaze before proceeding to stamp a fake smile on her snout.

"Well, we don't ALL have the ability to constantly talk, father." Finally bringing a true smile to her face, she brought her eyes to Guilian, who she was sure would understand that concept well.

Good, she had succeeded with an act of normalcy! But now that she thought about it, thinking about what to say was becoming harder then she thought. Her will to speak was now being controlled almost too much, and she knew it must have looked unnatural to the many people who knew her the best..
PostPosted: Thu Oct 11, 2007 11:09 am

Realizing that he wasn't helping things by mulling them over indefinitely, Antony flushed even darker for a moment before looking up at Ariston and Guilian, the sheepish smile back in place. Yes, THAT certainly wasn't odd at all! Best to just go with the gut on this, he supposed.

"Well, I'm sure that the two of you could understand the intimidation of the younger generation when in the prescence of two aged, veteran explorers of the world like you two." Might as well continue with the theme of 'old' while it was still amusing, after all! However, rather than let it slide at that, he continued in the same easy tone. "I'm sorry, though; I just happened to get to thinking that I was doing a part of this greeting wrong, and it was bothering me so much that I couldn't even focus!"

Tsking a bit at himself, Antony straightened up a bit, then gave the two stallions a formal bow of apologies. "But I'll fix that, I promise."

He wasn't exactly what provoked him. Maybe it was the fact that in his effort to act normal he was acting even weirder than otherwise, or maybe it was just the same devil-may-care attitude that technically got him into this situation in the first place. But whatever it was, he suddenly and without warning shifted to the side, snaking a wing around Loveless and pulling her up against him. "Hey, Lessy; nice to see you again, too. I swear, you manage to look more amazing each time I see you..."

And she did, in a way; last time they'd met, she'd looked tired, worn out, and a bit grungy, slightly thin....now, she had the figure and glow of a mare totally in control of herself.

It was hard to say how Loveless was going to react from Antony's warm gesture, and even she was petrified for a moment in time. There were so many things that popped into her brain, and they were better, and more happy thoughts. So he wasn't ashamed of what he had done? For awhile there, Loveless was seriously considering the possibilities of denial coming front Antony's direction. It was nice.. to finally be snuggled at his side. But then more realities became apparent, and she brought her eyes back on the two father figures, who seemed a bit surprised if anything. Their reactions wasn't as dramatic as she would have expected, so at least that was a good thing!

"It is good to see you too, Antony." was all she could fumble out, since her father's eyes were beamed in her direction. Oh lord, what was her father going to say? Even if Guilian was upset, she wasn't concerned with his reaction so much. If anything, she was interested in what he would say.

But her father was surprisingly hard to read when he became serious, so she shifted a bit and gulped to herself quietly. What on earth was he thinking? And why was everything so silent for a moment! "Yes, father?" she then said, while moving herself closer to Antony's side.

Ariston, for once in his life, was speechless. It wasn't a bad speechless, but he was indeed speechless. He couldn't contemplate a reaction, since he was completely surprised. Loveless and Antony? Loveless and Antony?! Man, how did THAT happen?

But still, when Ariston traced back his daughter's return, he wondered if Antony had anything to do with it. Why else would she suddenly bring herself back, as if none of her painful months with the other Kalonas had not even happened? So now, putting all of his thoughts together, Ariston realized how grateful he was to Antony. If he would want to see his daughter affiliated with any other male, it would most certainly be Antony. He was a fine stallion overall, and if this fling of theirs dwelled back into a personal air that even Ariston couldn't understand, then he was truly envious if anything, since those types of relationships never worked out for him. Plus, Antony helped bring Loveless back into a happy reality, so how could he not be grateful?

"Well my, what a nice surprise." was all the gold stallion FINALLY said, and with a rowdy smile, he flicked his mane triumphantly. "I don't even know what to say, ey Guilan, what about you?" He looked over to his friend with a light smile, since he was happy with what was in front of him.

It was definitely confusing at the same time, but that only brought more mystery into life! It was hard for Ariston to act overjoyed or anything, since this really was some new news.

"So how long has this been going on?" He then stated, while eying the two kids again. "Now I really feel out of everything!" Ah well, it would be interesting to see what Guilian would say about this!
