I've seen lots of topics of debate here, and while I love a good argument, I think sometimes it's nice to take a step back and post the things that bring Christians, and people in general, together.
One of these awesome universal things is music! Music has the power to uplift, inspire, and change lives for the better. Positive Christian music is fuel for my faith, and can re-charge me after a bad day or a negative experience.
I'd like for people to post the songs of faith that they love the most. In this case, specifically songs in the Christian genre. These can be popular Christian songs, Hymns, and even Christmas Carols. Post away, Brothers and Sisters! heart

I love everything written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend. Their most widely known song is "In Christ Alone." One of my favorites is called, "There Is a Higher Throne."

These are all awesome choices! I'm particularly happy to hear that there is finally Christian alternative and metal. My little sister is a Christian, but her tastes in music are very different than mine (Think Celine Dion (me) vs. Green Day (her)).
I love the fact that she is her own person, and there are many teens out there who don't identify with the kind of praise and worship music I grew up with. Expanding the genres in Christian music helps to reach out to all kinds of different people, which is what Christ intended. It goes to show that while everyone has their own ways of praising God, in the end, all of our voices are heard. ^^ heart
