Welcome to the RP section of this guild. This section is only made available to members of the guild and Cuentos pet owners. As time passes and if the need arises, we will be adding more forums for Roleplay. For now, this is the only one. Roleplaying is treated as a privilege, we like to keep all our RPers happy. Anyone having repeat offenses and not following our rules will be immediately banned from the guild. Please be sure to read all rules before setting up a thread.
o1. Literacy Plz
I really don’t want to call your English teacher up, since she’s starting to get annoyed when I call her at four in the morning… Anyway, please don’t use chatspeak while your roleplaying. On that note, I would also really appreciate it if everyone could write in third person. And not with anything like, *'s for actions and nothing for speaking.
o2. No God-Modding.
No controlling other people's characters.
Come on people, you learned all this in roleplaying rehab!
o3. No breaking Gaia’s TOS
However if you do want to do a slightly more mature roleplay you can. [Read the tags on rule six.] Now, there is no harm in cussing a few times in normal roleplaying and implying mature themes but if you want to act like you’re a drunk sailor with a severe case of anger management problems then I ask you set a thread that is designated to be mature. I don’t want to bail you out of jail for burning chicken puppies, alright?
o4. No barging in on a private roleplay unless you have permission.
If you are joining a thread, read the past few posts or even pages to find out what is going on, instead of just barging in and demanding everyone make you margaritas when people are actually trying to run away from the police.
o5. Please write more than three sentences per post.
I would suggest a minimum of four or five, and even if you are at a point where there doesn’t seem to be much to talk about, just begin rambling on about how Aunt Jemima loves her kittens more than you.
o6. Please label roleplay thread titles as follows:
- | RP | - RolePlay [Public]
| PRP | - Private RolePlay
| =R= | - Mature-ish/R Rated RolePlay [if applicable]
o7. If you are choosing to roleplay multiple characters, find a way to distinguish them.
Use a different font color/size or use the pet's image when posting; maybe wear a funky hat… Trust me, it’s no fun trying to figure out who’s Thing 1 and who’s Thing 2.
o8. Have a readable font and that does not cause a black hole to suck us all in.
o9. If RP mandatory pets are not properly cared for before reaching adulthood they will be taken away and put up for adoption.

1o. Any inappropriate content can be removed/edited by staff members at any time.
The member posting will receive a PM warning when this happens. It will be rare, but we have staff members patrolling the guild checking for spammers, trolls [the bad non-imaginary kind] and borderline pornographic themes.
