K I just have to geek out for a second. At NDK this year I got to meet one of my fav. VA's Greg Ayres, I got to go to his panel about fansubbing and how it's ruining the industry (if any one wants to know more just let me know or PM me.) then I had him sign a limited edition Son Goku doll. It was way exciting. So let me know if you were at NDK or share your personal VA experinces.

Please share what he said at the panel.
If only I could go to conventions outside Ontario.

ya know fansubbing does ruin the industry... crispin freeman is probably the biggest anti-fansub person you will ever meet (unless other VAs who are ticked about Geneon somehow surpass him).
I met Greg at AX07, he's super awesome 3nodding

I've met Greg at the past three Anime Bostons. He's really an amazing person. I met him on an escalator on the way to his panel, and he was so nice! He had a full out conversation with me while we rode up. He's never done the fansubbing panel (as far as I know, I may have missed it), but I've heard him talk about it. I hope that if he comes to AB this year, he'll do that panel.

Greg has been doing an amazing job with that panel. There was a point where a lot of industry people didn't really support him in doing it, but he still did it anyway.
Here's his MySpace page...it has a couple of really interesting blogs dealing with the panels. Including the fact that he had Nabeshin guest-star at the Oni-Con panel this past weekend.
