Math and alcohol don't mix. For the sake of all mathematicians out there, please don't drink and derive.
A message from MADD (Mathematicians Against Drunk Deriving)
^____^ I hope you enjoyed that. Not sure who made that up but I got if from my boyfriend. He loves math even more then me and has the name of Euler to prove it. hehe.
Have a good one!

If you think that math and alcohol don't mix, you've never seen the Drunk Math Olympiad.
Two college mathematicians, a random math problem from the Bulgarian National Math Olympiad, and a lot of alcohol is tremendously entertaining. Plus, all the theorems derived therefrom are "true".

A prof of mine actually made that gag in class after the school had been boozing it up at the annual christmas party.

I'm surprised that no one's followed that up with some version of "100 proof = 50% alcohol"

My girlfriend got me an amazing shirt that says "Don't Drink and Derive." It's one of my favorites. =)

No, no. The bigger danger is Driving and Deriving. (Take the bus instead!)
I maintain that Drink Deriving is a great way to solve the problem if other methods fail. cool
