Boring.... Boring...
Sabine thinks to herself as she swims around the tall kelp plants because thats the temporary home for her and her brother Sakkah. Sakkah was off somewhere, perhaps to practice his hunting or fast asleep on the bottom of the kelp 'forest'. Her bright blue eyes drifts up toward the surface thoughtfully and she smiles slightly because she knows that she doesn't have any guts to swim up to the surface. Her tail twitches before it propels her to the edge of the forest because she saw something colorful lurking around and she hopes that its either small fish for her to eat or shells she could admire.
Sabine tries not to hum as she pokes her head out between two patches of tall kelp grass and looks around with a curious look on her face. She learned that its always best to look around before she venture out because dangers always lurk around each corners.

(I'll edit in a pic when he gets certed, the other's just too big ^_^' )
Zuriel nosed at a rock in front of him, curiously looking at it until he had determined that it wasn't his rock. He sighed, what had he done with it? Out of the corner of his eye he saw the kelp moving, just a bit against the gentle current. He furrowed his brow and focused until he saw a small mer-soq poking out of the kelp.
He hadn't realised there were other mers in the area that he was in, and hoped that there was no angry mother or father to try to chase him away, it was so peaceful here. He swam a bit towards the child with a gentle stroke of his tail. "Hello there."

(( its ok X3))
Sabine's eyes went wide as a colorful mersoquili swam just little bit away from her. Her eyes gleams with admiring look as she smiles widely at the male eagerly. "Hello! What is your name? My name is Sabine" She beams as she tilts her head up slightly so she could see him fully. Wow.. he is SO colorful.. I wonder if it came from fishes he ate! She thoughts to herself as her face is frozen in awed expression. Her tail sways back and forth as she tries not to reach out with her front hoof to make sure she is not dreaming or ate something that makes her see things like one time she ate one weird plant that made her think she saw predators.
Sabine watches the male mersoquili then her eyes drifts toward his tail automatically to make sure she is not wrong about his species.. he is part of the same species she is from. A smile grows more bigger on her face as she looks back up at his eyes.

Zuriel flicked his tail. What was that look on her face? It was so...happy? And a little odd, the way she was just staring at him. What an odd little girl. Yes it must be a girl he mused, going by her name. "I'm Zuriel. Its a er...pleasure to meet you Miss Sabine."
She was grinning at him, so apparently there was no problem with him being here. As he looked at her he noticed that her fins were just a bit different, more solid than his own. How curious he thought to himself, and began wondering why she was like that.

Sabine blinks owlishly at the formality before she beams at Zuriel but at same time, she is getting little concerned because he is still an stranger to her. "Please call me just Sabine." She bobs her head as she looks at him curiously. "I would have to ask you this question.." She mutters half to herself before she screwed up all of her courage and looks directly in Zuriel's eyes.
"What did you eat to become this colorful?" Sabine finally says as she looks at him with half expectant and worried eyes. She doesn't want to get this HUGE male mersoquili mad with her because it won't be fun and safe for her to do that. "Please don't think that I am offending you.. I am just curious." She smiles shyly.

"What...what did I eat?" A look of absolute confusion crossed his face. "Surely what you eat doesn't decide what color you are...or does it?" he said mainly to himself. "I did eat some oddly colored kelp once...what if I messed myself up?! What if I was supposed to be black and white like you!" His eyes grew large, he had never thought of this before. He very well may have changed his life forever when he was just a colt.
He began swimming in circles in a distressed manner. He stopped and looked back at her. "Sabine...what did you eat to stay normal colors? Can I fix this?"

Sabine's eyes went wide with horror as confused expression came on the adult's face and he began to freak out about food he ate. "N-No.. N-No No no no!!" She exclaims as she tries to calm him down and she flutters her hooves around nervously. "It was a joke.." She smiles meekly at him. "The last part was a joke..if everybody looks like me, the world would be very boring yes?" She peeks up at the distressed stallion with worried look on her face.
Sabine looks at the stallion helplessly as she is not sure what to say to answer his questions because she doesn't know. "You look very pretty that way! I like colors!" She tries to dodge the question with compliments but she is telling truth about him looking very pretty.

Zuriel found himself slightly calmed. Perhaps she really had just been teasing him, so maybe he didn't have to wonder about what he had eaten. But the question still worried at the back of his mind. He looked at the young mer. "Thank you Sabine, but I think you might have fun if everyone looked like you, you could play hide and seek and never be found."
He hoped that she would find that amusing. He hadn't spent much time with children, and really didn't know how they thought.

Sabine takes in a deep breath as she looks at Zuriel with an owlish expression on her face. Now she is starting to wonder if he is a foal... a HUGE ONE?! Her eyes slowly went wide as she began to think about that possibility but she doesn't want to ask, fearing that she will offend him. She giggles at the image of everybody looking just like her and Sakkah and the game of hide and seek along with tag would be so much fun. But at same time, it will be very confusing.
Sabine looks at Zuriel with a thoughtful look on her face. "True but how would we know who is who?" She grins impishly at him.

That was a question he wasn't expecting, and to be honest he didn't have a real answer for it. "Well, um, you would know who you were?" Great, he had started something that he couldn't answer himself. He hurriedly searched for a way to change the subject.
"So Miss Sabine, what are you doing out here all alone? Won't your parents be worried about you?"

Sabine grins as she shrugs at his answer. "Maybe... maybe not." She laughs as she swims around in small circles because she is getting little restless. "Um.. my parents knows I am around here." She lied with a perfect face because she knows that she need to protect herself and her brother by pretending that they still have their parents around with them.
"What about you? will your mama and papa worry about you?" Sabine countered as she looks up at him with wide eyes.

Zuriel got a distant look in his eye. "I never knew my father. And I don't really remember my mother either. I think I got hit in the head when I was younger." He to notice of her restless motion.
"Would you like to play a game? I really dont know what people play these days..."

Sabine noticed the distant look in Zuriel's eyes and a look of concern appears on her face. "Oh no.... what happened to your parents? were you abandoned?" She whispers as she looks really sad about losing the parents because she lost her parents recently as well. She takes in a deep breath because she told herself that she won't cry in the public and she smiles at him.
"Sure! Um..lets play hide and seek? or tag? whichever works for me" She laughs as she looks up at him.

Zuriel shook his head, he honestly didn't remember. In the back of his mind he wondered why she was so quiet when she was answered him.
"Hide and seek sounds fun, and I think I still remember the rules. I just have to count to 100 and then try to find you right? If thats it then you can hide first if you want."

Sabine smiles as she looks at Zuriel. "Um... all right.. you can do that.. no peeking!" She giggles as she waits for the older stallion to turn away then she zoomed toward the kelp forest, looking for a place to hide but where she can watch him and move to another hiding place if he does get closer. She bites down on her laughter as she crouches down behind one thick patch of kelp, waiting for Zuriel to finish counting.
