I actually was hoping the launch colour would be the silver one they showed originally at E3 3nodding
I have a black one however but its all mine blaugh

Well now its only to wait and see if they launch a silver/platinum version. I would have prefered that to black, and although white is all well and good, id not get it, white isnt my thing.

Am I the only one who dislikes the glossy black of the 60GB and 80GB PS3s? 40GB is matte black, something much more visually pleasing to me. Now my future PS3 won't look like a burnt mirror.

I dunno, I like the glossy black, however as I said, i wish the launch colour had of been the silver, also since dust wouldnt show up as well on it rofl

That would be a PS3 I would buy whether it had backwards compatibility or not. Dust and finger prints stick out more on the glossy black and chrome; that's why I don't like it much.

shame i have already bought my ps3 and also black is cooler (altho my one attracts dust like a little slag and when you wipe it 5 secs l8r a layer of dust just as thick has landed in the place of the old one....rather annopying how it lookjs dusty all the time instead of it's super cool shiny black self)
