I found the first two links a while back [someone posted them up on EGL one of the many times people were hunting for patterns], but didn't know that there was a page of color scans [the version I found must be old, they're all in black and white]. Huh.
Anyway, good finds those.

Gekkani-Neko The links are really descriptive, but I still don't know what a kanzashi is. sweatdrop a Kanzashi is a little fabric flower that the Geisha wear in thier hair. And alot of wa-loli's wear them in thier hair, they're also worn at festivals or while wearing a kimono. they're actually very pretty.

Are you on EGL on live journal? There was a meet-up not too long ago where the entire point of the get together was to learn how to make kanzashi together. I don't know if they actually posted photos or not, but I remember reading their plans and thinking just how fun it would be to do.

Yay! Thank you, I was wondering how a Kanzashi was made, I just never had the time to look for a pattern.
