First off, ALL of you are very good writers. Dont think i am telling any of you that you suck or some thing.
Second can any one tell me what a story is?

Well... I think you could say it's a plot, with setting, and charactors. It's not jumbled, but straight-forward. So, hopefully, the reader can understand it.

A plot is a big part. Setting does hold things together.
CHARACTERS! Yes. They ARE the story. With out them nothing happens. Do you agree?

Any piece of writing that brings forth and explains an idea to a reader. As Kareestata said, involves events, character, settings, timeline, etc.
Edit, late post.
In a narrative story, characters often take the center of things, I'd have to agree xd

Thank you. Now i am not trying to be right. I am trying to show you all some thing. That its not about WINNING the fight. Its the story behind it. Thats all. I am not here to have Prime or his men win... they are here to give you guys a fight. Right?

Sadly, because we have so many people i and Silver and the other mods have to work with you. So... how do we get things slow enough to keep up... but fast enough to be interesting?

My experience in RP battles tells me that if you don't win the fight, you usually end up dying. Maren is dead, but that's beside the point.
But at this point, yes. We're here to fight. It's a matter of working our way out of what many of us find to be a confusing setting to where Alluvian is waiting to explain himself. I expect a fight before/during/after this.

Gah, late posting, I'll just not worry about double posting for now.
The best way is to have scheduled times when we can all be online to continue the story, weekends being a prime point for all of this.
It's also difficult because we all have different posting schedules. I can get on the computer at least two to three times a day, every day. Other people can't, this is noticeable when Sen and Alexial interact with everyone else. We get pages ahead and she's left behind...

There in is my point. You all worry about killing some thing.... While Kareesata saw an opening to MAKE the story more.
Savvy? She went with what i did. And didnt pull a:
Pulled out gun and blasted Intels arm off and kicked him into wall.
That... is no fun. Why? Cause it stopped the story. I am not saying you all have to give up. But how many stories you see the good guy win in the start?

So, I am allowed, essentially, auto-hits? That's the main thing I've been trying to avoid this entire time, most people assume auto-hits are equivalent to Godmodding.

The bad guy always loses in the end, we know that.
But that doesn't mean it can't be as climactic as possible, which i'm trying my best to do.
*sigh* Does DNY have scripted battles of a sort? They always have things run really smoothly...

No.. they have great leaders. I have brushed coats with them... i bit to high for my taste.
But no... its not an Auto-hit. Is she dead? Is she cut, shot or dieing? No... its not an auto hit. Plus. My chara have been getting the piss beat out of them. What makes that ok? Its cause i am here to make the story with you.
Another thing... what side is right? Hrmm? The night or the light? Prime and the humans and angels? Or the Lycan vamps and demons?
