After metting Bodaway, Zimwi had become... Curious. Could he face a huge pride like this one...? He wasn't quite SURE. Creeping along, he kept his ears down and his body low. Boy but he had no idea how bad that looked, to be creeping along like that! But it was all he could do to avoid envoking the wrath of others. He was a fearful little lion, always had been, may always be. Pausing, he peeked out of the grasses, wondering if he'd encounter any lions. If they were friendly... Hope would be yet. If not... He'd never darken Pride Rock's doorstep again.

A pale figure strode amongst the pridal land, looking around carefully as she prowled, muscles flexing on her frame calmly as she casually saught some prey. However, the scent not of prey wafted into her nose, and she looked around, spying a pale white coat, and she paled.
A rogue? Was he a threat....?

Pausing again in his walking, Zimwi looked up. Somebody was near by... He turned suddenly, looking like an overgrown and fearful cub. What he saw... Was another lion practically as white as he was. In the grass, all he saw were blue and purple wing markings as well as black ear rings. She didn't look dangerous... But looks could be decieving. He'd learned that with Akumu and Bodaway - Though they were massive, they meant him no harm and posed to him no threat. He lifted his head up above the grass, watching curiously.

Kabichi eyed the stranger warily, and slowly backed away nerviously. She was afraid, and he wasn't very kind looking. Then again, she could be wrong.
Best not chance it, and she tried hiding in the grass.

Zimwi shrank back as well, nervouse... And noticed that they were both afraid. What a situation that was... He turned and started back towards the border, eyeing the female warily. He paused a moment, thinking, then inched just a bit closer. Someone so pale... Was she related? It was a silly notion to entertain, really, but WAS she related? Somehow... The scent that reached him seemed... Familiar. He closed his eyes, and suddenly thought of his father. Large, white, and silver-maned. Where HAD he gotten such a mane, anyway? Zimwi'd never questioned it... But somehow, she smelled like him, if faintly.

Kabichi shivered, before doing something she hadn't dokn e since cubhood, and rose on her haunches like a meerkat breifly, watching with large, wary blue eyes before falling with a squeal.

White paws stopped before Zimwi sat down, watching the lioness. He tilted his head a moment, then went over. "A-are you alright...?" His nostrils filled with her scent, still reminding him of his father. Why did it do that...?

Blackringed ears flicked and she peered up shyly.
"Y... Yeah..."
Both ears suddenly perked forward, and she snuffed in the lion's direction, before cocking her head. Why, he smelled like her father!
And sadly she had her mother's tact as she padded right up to him and pawed.
"Do you know a lion they called Kohrisu?"

Zimwi blinked in surprise at being pawed at. "No... But my father mentioned a lion by that name when I was a tiny cub... Said he was his brother... Do you know Mvua'agenti?" That inkling that they may have been related returned, and Zimwi was now curious. WERE they related? The possibility hung over his head.

She blinked.

Orange eyes lit up with utter delight as Zimwi sat back. "I think we might be cousins...!" It explained why they shared even part of a scent, that was for sure! Another thing suddenly came to his mind. "Did he ever mention... SEEING things? My father once said he could see things in the past..." It really did make him wonder.

Kabichi perked, rapidly rushing the lion and rubbing him lovingly. Family! Real family! At his question, she looked up, and shook her head.
"No. He just talked of how to learn from the stars."
She sighed, longing for the stories told amongst her littermates, and looked sad.

The little white male purred, rubbing against his cousin. Family... It was good to know he had some. He glanced up at Pride Rock, orange eyes filled with thought. Didn't Safura want to live here...? And his cousin lived here... If she lived here, unafraid... Could he? He looked back at her, smiling a bit. "Father mentioned stars before..." He scratched a bit of an itch, tailcurling. "He said something about his father having to do with them somehow... I guess he had star markings or something."

She looked up, happy, but smiled at her cousin.
"So where do you live? Are you still in the south?"

Zimwi nodded, his gray mane flopping in his face. "Exactly! I wonder what relation there IS..." He flicked his tail, tilting his head a bit. "Right now, we don't live anywhere. Safura'miezi and I are looking for a pride. We're gonna try a place that was like the dying jungle, all lush and wet... Just... Not dying. We're heading south east to look."
