There is a magical place where friendships are are made, taken farther, or sometimes even are lost. Wait. I guess that really isn't very magical...
New York City is a bustling city, filled with lots and lots of people. Yes, I'll admit there is crime, and high gas prices, sure. But, that's not what this roleplay is about.
Since NYC is so big, you wouldn't expect to rn into someone from your past, right? Wrong.
The truth is, people run into each other all the time in a place like New York City. And sometimes, it's someone you'd rather not meet again...
Please, do not make your character think, or talk about someone else, or anything like that. You must meet randomly and what you want for their reactions is up to you. Also, remember, these people have not seen each other since High School. You start out with a job, an you have finished college. Good Luck.

He was the captain of the football team, and one of the most popular guys in school. They got paired up for a science project, and enevitably fell in love. They also aced the project, but that's not really important.

It was all a mistake. He didn't mean to do it, but it just happened. Nathen was the co-captain of the football team in High School, and had told his friend to not tell Melissa about him moving. Nathen just thought it would save her heartbreak. Well, he made a big mistake.

Namine grew up in a small town in colorado springs. She dreamed of leaving the small town for the excitement of a larger city. She always imagine having her own place and meeting new people. She also loved the idea of anonimity. In her small town everyone knew everyone else. She didnt want to stay there, marry, and have a big family like the rest of the towns folk. She wanted to have a career and not marry some guy because she got pregnant at the prom. Namine worked hard to get into a good school far away from the town. She of course would miss her friends and family but her need to leave the town was greater than her care for those around her. It would hurt especially to leave her best friend and confidante but the truth is he hadnt spoken to her since the day she announced she was leaving the town to go to school. Leaving her past behind she attended NYU to study international business little did she know the twist in store for her. Namine wasnt particularly interested in the glamorous life. It wasnt till her sophomore year in college that she was discovered. There was some event at her college and photographers from all over were attending. She had of course been tricked into volunteering by her friends and found herself helping with last minute details at the event. During the soiree a man approched her and asked to use her in his photos. She adamantly refused but then his female assistant interjected on his behalf and proved to her that he wasnt just some perve trying to get pictures of the co eds on campus. From that day on she led a double life. Modeling and business different aspects of her life. Now she was 22 a graduate from college and a well known model in the industry. What else was in store for her?

Namine is determined when it comes to getting what she wants. She worked hard to accomplish her goal of leaving her small town and graduating school with a bachelors in Internatinal Business. Her involvement in the modeling world has taught her to be cool, calculating, dominant, and good at hiding her true self. Only those close to her can see her head is not full of clouds and know about the savy business woman beneath. She lives in and out of the glamorous world. Her modeling career has given her the stepping stone she needs to network and shes taking advantage of it by using her good looks.

Since Bella moved from her hometown of Graz, Austria, she hasn't been quite the same. Her eating patterns were irregular, meaning that she rarely found the time to eat, and her moods drastically changed as her stress level rose dangerously. Bella is involved in many counseling sessions to calm herself down, and has to use an inhaler if she gets over excited. On several occasions, Bella has even collapsed due to high stress levels. One particular time, she was considerably upset after the death of her father, and realized that her inhaler was missing. That of course upset her even more, and, when she thought she was about to lose it, a dark haired boy found Bella and calmed her down. She was grateful, and the two of them began to spend a lot of time together. Though one day, when Bella and the boy, Adrian, had plans to meet, she discovered that his phone was turned off, and his house empty. Bella was heartbroken that her only friend had left without a word or a note.

Star grew up in a poper family, all ways taught to dress aproperatly and use her manners. Well, they at first didn't approve of her job choice, but once they knew the money Star was earning they quickly started looking at her designs, and even buying some for themselves.
Star is a well mannered person, most of the time. She sometimes forgets when she is over tired, but is also very busy. She is usually late, but her co workers don't mind since she owns the buisness. They never complain, and Star is happy with that.
Ever since High School, Star has had a grudge on the popular girls. They were always on top of everything, and had all the gus. She remembered this one guy they bothered so much, he was very dark, that Star enevr got a chance to speak to him.

Namine woke up to the sloberry kisses her coker spaniel, demeter, was giving her. "hmm..demeter I can tell you love me so...or is this your way of telling me its time to wake up and feed you" she said. Demeter lifted each leg and shuffled around the bed eventually hopping off and bouncing around to get her attention. Namine sighed even as the smile spread on her lips. He was such a rambunctious pup but she loved him. Picking him up she nuzzled his neck and watched as her red hair fell over his dark chocolate fur. Demeter licked at her once more. "ok..ok..I'll feed you and then we can go for a walk before we head out to the shoot" looking at her watch she noticed it was 6am. She was up much earlier than she was supposed to be. The shoot wasnt till 10:30am. Well...namine decided she would make the most of her morning and spend some time with her 4 legged friend.

CLACK..CLACK..was the sound Namine heard as she moved from pose to pose for the photographer. From the corner of her eye she could see demeter playing with his chew toy. Namine twisted send her hair flying. The red strands are a sharp contrast to her ivory skin. "break time" she heard the photographer say. He congratulated her on a job well done and praised her poise. Most models were quite conceited but Namine took it in stride. She was aware of her looks but she didnt overly flaunt them. Picking up demeter she nuzzled the pup and then moved to a seat near the window where she could look out at the world.
