Look at them squirm like worms in mud, Blaming a ghost who's flesh and blood. Crossing the line, tossing the dice, Making decisions and paying the price. Someone just showed me this video. It's pop Emmy. I personally love the chords in this song... and I think that this is a little too similar to the voice she used in Phantom where it didn't belong. Discuss. =D If I were really a ghost, my dear, I'd find a better Hell than here! -Erik, The Phantom of the Opera, Tom Alonso

Wow. I like this song too. The video is cute. Emmy sounds pretty good in this, although a little breathy. I agree, she should definitely stick to pop. She doesn't have the classical sound Phantom calls for.

I've heard some of her pop songs (my friend has a CD of hers, or something) and I agree that Pop Emmy has a much prettier voice. She was a little strained when it came to classical. Her pop sound is very pretty and - for lack of a better word- endearing.

Normally I personally despise pop music...
Although this is actually pretty decent.
I agree...Emmy's voice just isn't well-trained enough for classical-type music such as Phantom.

It's alright. It's like ambient pop...very calming. :>
I remember someone saying that her voice sounds overproduced.

I'm not sure which I like more. She was a trained classical singer, she was in an opera choir as a child, but her pop voice is quite pretty. Hmm....

The cinamatography to this is really jumpy. It's like: running-bed-pool-bush-bed-face-pool! Just makes me resent how beautiful she is. scream yesh. But it is a very cute song and it's actually not that bad, she's just really breathy- her voice is too weak in it. rolleyes

That was cute. Most definetly her voices is much more suited for this type of music. She always reminds me of somebdoy, although not always the same person...shes just one of those people you know?

Emmy has an AMAZING voice, but I really think that the new CD doesn't really show it. It is a very nice CD tough, I'm thinking of getting it soon.

i agree with the enya comment. i've heard some of her other songs, and she also sounds like imogen heap.
it seems like she's trying to be a cross between the two. for some reason, i don't really like it.. :

Her song 'Slow Me Down' kinda sounds like Imogen Heap's 'Hide and Seek'.
I think it's alright. She has a nice voice but this cd doesn't really show it.
