In the middle of the library are some tables with chairs and little lamps, much like the study hall. But here there are some more comfortable chairs off to the side where one may curl up with a good book. This room has no windows, all the wall space is devoted to the book shelves that reach from ceiling to floor and are crammed with so many books they couldn’t possibly hope to hold one more. And though there are books beyond number visible, there seems to always be more.
