Tiffany pouted, swishing her long tail in annoyance. The air was cold. The tree's leaves had turned shades of oranges and yellows, browns reds. The sun shone, but it certainly wasn't hot. This could only mean one thing. The cold season was beginning.
She hated the cold.
Her flowers hardly grew, she had to search long and hard to find them, while in the spring they bloomed in the hundreds. Her fur got longer, less sleek, and didn't suite her as much. It was also harder to clean and get the dirt out of. And the water would be very, very cold. Sometimes it would freeze, and she wouldn't be able to do her daily baths! And that CERTAINLY would be horrendous.
Tiffany groaned, raising her muzzle to the sky. Horrible sun, sky, whatever or whoever was in charge of the seasons...they needed to stop being so mean.

 Aiyana trotted through the grass, the soft breeze blowing through her curly hair lightly. As she went, she looked at all of the trees and things around her.
Aiyana was new to these lands and she had never seen anything like it before. She had no idea where she was going but that was okay, it was not like she had anywhere to be since she didn't real know anyone here or anything.
Aiyana smiled as she saw a pond not to far away. She trotted over to it and took a little sip of the water. After feeling a little more refreshed she looked at her reflection in the water. Everything seemed to still be in place, the wind didn't seemed to have messed up her flowers at all. She smiled, her flowers were one of her favorite pocessions, they reminded her a little of her old home.
Not knowing where to go next, Aiyana just stood next to the water for a moment and looked around.

Tiffany bit her lip. It had been a while since she had gone to look at herself. It was one of her favorite past times. Sometimes she could spend hours upon hours making sure she looked just right. She usually was, but she was just SO gorgeous, it was easy to get lost in herself.
She knew of a pond nearby, and began in that direction. Ponds were much easier to view herself in than streams. Streams moved, sometimes making her look blurry or warped, which was absolutely out of the question. Ponds were generally still, only moving gently. So it works.
She broke out of the woods, and in the distance she saw...someone? Lots of hair, and looked small enough to be female. Tiffany wasn't fond of other mares. They tended to be much angrier, and get much more offended when she tried to help them with...well, being generally pathetic.
Of course, stallions tended to show their anger more physically, although only a few had ever attacked her. They were complete idiots, though.
