The sun was shining brightly when Kali and Ziku left the stadium. "Wasn't that a great battle?" The Pichu had been in a great mood since he saw Aeon before the match started. Kali pushed her black hair out of her face and grinned. "Is is just me, or do you really look up to him?" Ziku stopped trying to mimic some of Aeon's battle moves and looked at his friend. "Pii!"
Looking across the street, Kali noticed a small snack stand. She walked over to it and stood in line while Ziku hopped to the ground.

Murmurs from spectators and trainers alike followed the twosome as Aeon and Jennifer left the stadium that afternoon. It seemed like everyone wanted to got up against the pair every other day or so....Poor Aeon needed a break.
Glancing around the crowded courtyard, the brunette trainer pushed a strand of hair out of her eyes as Aeon, who was perched on her shoulder, nibbled on the spicy pokeblock treat held in his paws. "Hey Aeon?" The pokemon glanced up at the sound of his name; "What do ya say we get some hot dogs and a soda? You deserve it!" "Raichu!" He nodded, tail waving slowly behind him at the excitement. The twoseome then started towards the small snack stand nearby.

Kali began to order the snacks for herself and Ziku. "Let's see...I think i'll have a pretzel with cheese dip. A small soda too. Oh can you also get some pokemon snacks for my pichu?" She paid for the food and stood to the side. The pretzels still needed fifteen more minutes to be done.
Ziku was sitting next to Kali when he suddenly lifted his ears and dashed off. "Ziku! Come back!" The pichu simply called out "Chuu!" and continued running. Kali sighed. Not this again! She told the cashier that she would be right back and began to walk to Ziku.

"Let's see.....I'll have two hot dogs please, and a large Coke with two straws. Also, can you put some Poketreat crumbs on one of the hot dogs?"
At the nod, she smiled and payed for the food before sitting at a picnic bench nearby. Apparently, the guy had sold out during the match and needed a few moments to restock.
Aeon, in the mean time, was perched in one of the oak trees scattered acros the courtyard. He wouldn't wander far from his trainerbe the pokemon wanted to relax just for a few moments.

Ziku stopped by a courtyard nearby, so Kali decided to take a break from the chase. She stopped and sat at a picnic table near the snack shop, but kept her eye on her pokemon. He had a habit of getting into trouble when she wasn't looking. Turning around on the bench so that she was facing the table, she noticed another girl sitting down. Not just any girl, she realized, but Jen from the battle earlier! Looking for something to say, she asked "So, are you waiting for snacks too?" She wasn't really sure what else to say at that moment.
Ziku was standing in the courtyard near some oak trees. He was positive that he heard Aeon a few minutes ago. After looking around but not seeing any sign of the raichu, he sat down at the base of a tree and began to lick his paws.

"Huh?" Jerked from her space-out moment, Jen glanced around before laying eyes on a gal sitting across from her. Grinning, Jen made a sort of "Heya" motion with her hand before shifting around in her seat to face the girl. "Snacks? Hmm....pretty much." The trainer rested her chin on her folded hands. "Then again, battling can make one hungry....Oh, sorry about that, I didn't ask for yer name." She held out a hand in greetings to someone who may become a new friend...hopefully; "I'm Jennifer, Jen if you wanna call me that, who are ye?"
Aeon, after cleaning off his golden fur, was about to climb back down the tree when the yellow form of his pre-evolution caught the elder's attention. Climbing down to a lower branch, the Raichu perched and stared at the searching Pichu; was he looking for his trainer or something else entirely?

Kali shook Jen's hand. "I'm Kali. It's nice to meet you!" She looked at the girl for a moment. "You were in the battle earlier right? With your Raichu against an Eevee?" She laughed to herself. "My Pichu loved the match. He just ran over to those trees a few minutes ago though." Kali wondered why he wanted to go over there so badly. Normally when he ran off, it was into an area full of people so he could get attention.
Ziku sniffed the air and looked around. He thought he smelled Aeon again. He looked around for a minute but couldn't see the Raichu in the tree. Remembering that he had run off again, he looked in the direction of the snack stand. He spotted his friend talking to another person. Relieved, he dashed over to a nearby tree and tried to climb it for fun.

"Same here, Kali." She settled back onto her seat, staring back at her fellow trainer. At her mentioning of the pokemon battle just held, Jen turned and looked towards the entrance of the stadium. "Well, yeah I was...I just wish it wasn't against someone of faint experience. It isn't for the lack of challenge..." She scratched at an itch on her arm, pindering the last battle and the damage caused. "I just don't like seeing pokemon get hurt like that." She then turned back to Kali with a faint smile on her lips. "So...your little Pichu ran off over there? That's where Aeon ran to while I was ordering."
Aeon, watching the little pokemon, delicately climbed down from the tree and scampered after the little one.

"Yeah, the battle seemed hard on all of you. I'm glad nobody got too hurt." Looking in the direction Jen mentioned, Kali nodded. "Ziku ran over there right after I ordered. He does that a lot for attention, but nobody is over there so i'm thinking he might just want a break." Thinking back to after the battle, she added "Well, if Aeon went there first, he might have been following him. He really loved watching the match you know."
Ziku had stopped walking when Aeon came after him. He turned around and his eyes got wide. Ziku quickly sat down in front of the larger pokemon. "Pii! Pichu!!" (Wow! It's Aeon from the battle!) He was really excited now. "Chuu! (It was the coolest thing ever!)
