Okay people, I'm talking about the manga here which has gone way past where the anime ended. This thread will be full of spoilers (if anyone responds) so don't read if you don't want to be spoiled.
So, we've reached chapter 524 and things finally seem to be heading for the end. How do I know? Simple!
- Kagome has finally taken her entrance exam
- Characters are dying left and right
- Characters are in more danger than ever
- The way to defeat Naraku has been pretty much revealed
- The reason for Kagome being weaker than Kikyou was revealed
- There's all these sentimental, climactic scenes showing up
- Then there's Kagome's narration at the end of chapter 494 "At this time, I didn't think that the day would come that I would have to choose between the two worlds." Which tells us that the day certainly is coming...however slowly.
So, basically, I wanted to create this thread to get anyone who has hung in there with the manga excited for the end, even though it may still be a year or so away...at least now it's in sight. *sigh* InuYasha has been around for over ten years...so long...

I said in my first post that I'm talking about things up to chapter 524. There's like 50 volumes in Japan. So, if you've only read to volume 31 you won't know any of what I'm talking about.

Yah...the manga has finally ended. For me the whole Inuyasha fandom had pretty much made me lose interest partially due to the length and partially due to the lack of developments. I did however end up reading the last two chapters, and personally I was disappointed with the ending.

the ending was right for the manga, that's what i think at least and it was also funny
