Damien idly swims up to the shore of his tank and looks around for someone to play with.

Elian snoozes lightly on a rock, taking advantage of his amphibian characteristics to get some of the warm sun, his tail flicking idly in and out of the water.

Damien makes his tail like a spade and scoops up water, which he then flings at Elian.

Elian sputters and snorts, falling off the rock with a comical meow before splashing into the water. Coming to the surface with another splutter and shaking the water out of his ears he meows plantively and looks around curiously..... wondering who'd managed to disturb his nap and fully expecting Kisae, his meddlesome older 'sibling'.
Spying the smallish black and white dog he tilts his head and looks at the newcomer curiously, while floating casually.... still a little cautious.

Damien chuckles and goes over to sniff elian, seeing as how fear meant very little to him. Deciding he wanted to play, he placed two front paws on either side and looked elian in the eyes as he turned his head quizzicaly.

Elian blinks and paws at the puppy," Hey! Yer in my space pup!" he says in a brassy indignate tone of voice, "What're you doing?" he asks swimming backwards, not afraid just curious about the obviously bold puppy!

The brave little puppy looked at her with wide eyes, "Why playing but of course, don't you ever play?". His voice was somewhat high pitched and squeaky seeing as how he was still a baby.

Elian smirks and flips his tail to keep him afloat in the water," Acourse I play! I've got a rotten older faery sibling that does nothing but! If I didn't know how to play I'd be sunk!" he says matter of factly.
His wiskers sweep forward as he looks at the puppy," But what were ya playing? Kisa an I usually play a bout or two of tag." puffing out his chest he adds rather proudly," I always win too!"

Damien's eyes open wide in suprise and wonder.."Really? wow, I haven't really ever played tag before though, how do you play?". He wondered however if he could even win against such an obviously seasoned champion

Elian cocks an eyebrow and gives his playmate a look," Haven't you ever played afore?" meaning more in general than tag. With an exaggerated sigh he says," I'm Elian by the way chap. Tag's pretty simple it's like a game of chase. Basically someone is 'it' and they have to chase and touch the other person making them 'it' and the game goes round an round from that." scratching his ear with a paw he smiles and adds with a flick of his tail,"Sometimes! though Kisa n I play hide n seek, which is where someone hides and the other person counts then has to go find the other. Jus depends on our mood. Don you have siblings? I've two. SISTERS. Yech."

The pup was taken aback, "Of course I have hmph. I don't have siblings, just me. What are your siblings like? My name is Damien and why don't you look like me? You look funny. I want to play hide and seek!". His tail wagged quickly back and forth as he got rather excited about the new game, and he liked having a friend, he had been getting rather bored.

Elian blinked at the rapid fire questioning, being a good natured upbeat fellow though he took it in stride," My sibs look way different than me too. Magnolia's the oldest; she's kind of a stick in the much but BOY does she gots a temper! Kisae's only a bit older than me; she likes to get in trouble but she's got these filmy things on her back that let her float above the ground.....wings she calls em. As much as having girls for siblings can be boring they try and keep me amused.... or maybe I just amuse them. I can never be sure."
Taking another breath, he paws at the wildly wagging tail while patiently explaining," Cause I'm a feline.... you're what Maggie'd call a canine; like her. That's why we look differnt." sniffing he pauses and adds," No funnier than you look to me; besides if you think I look funny you should see my sister Kisae. She's even weirder looking.... and Maggies all FURRY!" he laughs when he says furry; like it's something quite awful and unimaginable to him.

Damien took in all the information, for he was quite a curious young pup, but loved to learn. Laughing he looked at Elian, "Fur?!?!? ewww. I wonder how they stay in the water with that, I bet they can't swim very fast.". Quite excited over his first game of hide and seek, "I don't mind, I'll hide!". Without another word Damien leaped back into the tent and hid behind the massive bubbling treasure chest, "He'll never find me here!", he thought quite smugly to himself.

*Her tail propelled the young pup forward and about anything that happened to just 'pop' up into her way. The young Kohaku koi printed pup bounced off one of the extended roots of the center piece of her tank. Ears twisted back, Rose looked about the tank, wondering if anyone else was about today. Though the mainly white koi barely associated with those of her own kynd. Still she had to get over it sooner or later, and she would hope sooner...*

Closing his eyes he floated along the surface with his tail propelling him in a circle while he began counting.." 1...2....3..." continuing through till "8...9...10! Ready or not ere I come!" he says gleefully, speeding through the water cautiously keeping his eyes peeled for a flash of black and white fur.

*Startled, Rose let out the worse disgruntled sound ever heard from one of her kind. From the force of the tag Rose was shoved back a ways, her tail instinctively tucked under her white underbelly as her paws struggled to keep herself still. Ears pressed back she looked the feline over a moment.* "'Is alright." She said letting her tail wave behind her a bit, aiding in keeping her aloft. "'ope you fin' you friend." She nodded trying to disengage the conversation quickly and dive into the lower depths of the tank.

Elian gave the funny little pup a curious look before swimming off with a rushed,"Thanks!" tossed over his shoulder a curious look flashing over his face before turning away.
He looks all around the tank before spying the small black tail tip peeking out from behind the bubble generating treasure chest. With a loud yell he says," Ah ha! I've found you Damien!"

"eeeeep!", A startled Damien let out a laugh. His little tail propelled him in a circle, "Who was that you were talkin' to?". The conversation had indeed arisen the curiosity of the young pup, seeing as how he thought they were the only ones in the large tank. Damien quickly thought, "Do they want to play?", the game was indeed fun and perhaps whoever else might want to play, and he was indeed a rather insistent pup.

*Deep Amethyst eyes watched the pair from a distance behind a waving weed that grew within the tank. Her keeper had tried to make it as natural as she could to make Rose feel somewhat more comfortable. It helped at least to have something real, instead of plastic as she had heard about from her keeper some time ago. Moving backwards, Rose headed deeper into the waving weeds and moves toward a more better hiding place away from the males. She was still shy of them, then again, she was shy of everyone...*

"I unno actually. I thought she was you!" Elian laughs, rolling over in the tiny rocks that lined the bottom of the tank. "I dun think she'd want to play though. Seems the shy type." he remarks shrewdly.
