Wahoo and Mahi-Mahi shell A few days after the Merloks and the Kawani people declared peace, the entire barrier dissolved for good so kelpis and mers alike could pass through. Merloks also visited the Kawani beaches to make friends with humans and soquili.
bring two shells as gifts fAjadi was enjoying this new found freedom so much that he decided to or the Kawani people. Both shells were colored like the Hawaiian fish Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo but a kelpi baby was living inside. The merlok prince held each big clamshell under his arms as he swam past the old barriers towards the bay.
"I can't wait until the Kawani see these beautiful shells!" Ajadi said with a smile. The babies stirred within the sealed eggs like they heard him. "Little ones, you will both be well taken care of I'm sure. The Kawanis don't have fins like us but they have two things attached to their bottoms called legs! Isn't that silly? They walk with those instead of swim. xd : "
No one was around when Ajadi's body pierced the surface and began swimming to the beach. Waves caressed over his tone body as he rolled in the warm sand. "This is the life..." he murmured.
Ajadi set the kelpi shells on a patch of seashells that appeared to of been broken and emptied. "I wonder who ate all those clams?" Ajadi asked himself.
Without warning, two large ospreys swooped down and grabbed each kelpi shell jewel in their huge talons. The weight of the shells was making it hard for them to fly into the air but their wings were gaining the needed momentum. The rare gems placed at the sticky spongy seal of each kelpi shell began to crack.
Ajadi's eyes bulged out of his head and he flailed his arms wildly. "HELP HELP!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!" he screamed at the top of his gills.
((You or your soquili are nearby and hear Ajadi calling for help. RP in a paragraph explaining what you will do to get the ospreys away from the shells. Do not god mod the ospreys but just explain your actions against them to get them to go away. Fill out this form:
Your Gaia Name: Characters: Your RP paragraph: Which kelpi shell do you want?:
I'll pick the best RP answers for each of the two shells. No mules! Limit your paragraph to no more than 500 words. If you win the kelpi then you can't give it away to someone else but you can decide to co-own with someone else. It is preferred that the winners have RP rights in co-ownerships. I'll be judging spelling, creativity, accuracy in your action, and most importantly, if it is fun to read.
If you don't have a soquili then use an indian persona. Information on how to make one is at the main guild in a sticked thread.
GOOD luck!! I'll judge tomorrow but the contest is closed 24 hrs from now.. so at 7:30 pm CST!

Your Gaia Name: Caitlyn Hellstorm Characters: Christabel (my golden tiger alicorn) Your RP paragraph: Christabel was lazing around near the beach because it was her private place along with the forest that lines along the beachline. Her daughter Rowenya decided to go off and be with her brother, being pests toward the world so she have some peace and quiet for once. Just as she was drifting off into the light sleep, the terrified cries jarred her right out of her sleep and she looks around frantically. The alicorn sprang up to her hooves and ran toward the water where she saw a merman screaming for help then she automatically looks up into the skies because the merman was frantically gesticulating and pointing up to the skies. Her golden eyes spotted two ospreys flying off with two shells and she quirks her eyebrow. The alicorn is confused to why the merman was so distressed about two stolen shells but she knows that it is probably very important to him if he is going to look like he is going to have a heart attack. "I will be right back with your shells." She tries to speak to the merman but all came out of her mouth was series of nickering. She spreads her large black wings and took off into the skies after the ospreys, the perfect picture of determination is on her face as she soars high above the large birds of prey. The ospreys doesn't know what is going to hit them until the golden streak divebombed them then swooped around to divebomb them. One osprey panicked and dropped the shell and Christabel hurriedly dove down to catch the shell with her back. She grunted loudly as the shell slammed right into her back, the pain jolted right through her body and she carefully lowered herself to the ground and let the shell slide off her wing. "One more..." She mutters to herself. Christabel took off into the skies once again, thinking that the tatic would work with another osprey because that osprey looks little shooken up by her divebombing tactic. A slight smirk appears on her lips as she suddenly zoomed right up underneath the osprey, almost succeeding in knocking the shell out of its talons. Her large powerful wings flapped and took her to new heights then she suddenly folds her wings against her body, forming herself into the 'bullet' like shape while divebombing the osprey once again with her horn aimed for the bird's back. She have succeeded by the sickening thud of her horn piercing the osprey's spine and went all way through the body. The loud surprised squawk escaped the bird before the death rattle escapes the body.
Christabel heard the death rattle coming from the dead bird. Fighting back the shudder, Christabel swooped down and caught the shell with two of her hooves (wrapped around each other) then slowly puts it down gingerly next to the first shell. She glances at the merman with the dead bird on her horn then she stalks off to get rid of the body and wash herself of the experience. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Wahoo

Your Gaia Name: Huroggmeten Characters: Shishio (Male, Soquili; Picture) Your RP paragraph:The stallion snorted, jerking awake, his dreams banished by a piercing noise. His thoughts were clouded, still hazy from his nap.
He held perfectly still. What was that sound?
"SOMEONE HELP ME!!"
The cry came again, causing the the opal steed to snap to attention. He clambered to his feet, his normal grace sacrificed as he rushed to help whoever was in need.
Before he had found true love and happiness in female form, he had lived only to help others. Traveling the lands with no clear purpose, lending assistance wherever he was able. Those instincts, the drive that pushed him to aid those in need, still coursed strong through his veins.
He took off in the direction from which the sound had come, legs churning as he leapt over logs and small brush. His pace quickened to a canter as the cries of dismay became ever more frantic.
There!
He spotted frenzied movement to his left, and veered course to head straight towards it. Leaping over a particularly large bush, he shot onto the scene.
Shishio's mind worked quickly, assessing the situation.
There was the Merlok prince, Ajadi, grasping at the birds above him and in a clear state of distress. Two osprey, their wicked talons clutching strange shells, were struggling to become airborne. Thieves.
Shishio snorted, lowering his head as he charged. He gathered his muscular hind legs beneath himself, launching at the birds.
His hooves flashed in the sunlight, his tail streaming behind him like a war banner.
The prince wanted the strange shells.
The ospreys had the shells.
But not for long. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Although both are lovely, the Wahoo shell would have to be my favorite.

Your Gaia Name: Samus x Characters: Indian persona Samus Your RP paragraph:
Samus had been taking a long walk along the beach side by himself. Everything had been very quiet except for the noise of the waves coming in until he heard the sound of someone yelling as if they where in trouble mixed with the screeching of two large birds that that started to try and take off to the sky. Samus’ eyes grew wide at the sight of the Mer Prince trying to keep the large birds from taking off with the large shells that held baby foals within. Taking off at a dead run he tried to launch himself at the birds hoping beyond anything that he could scare them enough to drop the shells before they got too high in the air and so he started to yell also. " HEY YOU STUPID BIRDS LEAVE THE SHELLS ALONE!!" it was a strange sight to behold a man yelling and flailing about trying to get a hold of the birds or scare them enough to get the shells from them with the birds also screehing right back at him. Sadly the birds had stayed out of his grasps but lucky he had caused such a scene at attempting to get the birds, they had decided it was not worth the trouble and dropped the two shells. To his relief the shells where unharmed except for a few scratches and cracks from the large brids using their claws to try and get a grip on the odd shells.
Which kelpi shell do you want? The Wahoo one because out of the two its my favorite one.

Your Gaia Name: Vollyballrocks91 Characters: Viscoso (My rainbow unicorn stallion) Your RP paragraph: After his encounter with the Mer Soquili, Viscoso had decided to stick around the shore just in case another decided to show up. It was a great time to catch up on some sunbathing too. But his nice afternoon was interuppted by cries of help, but from who? His head lifted and his ears swiveled around until he started runing in the direction of the cries. To his surprise the cries of help were coming from a two legger...with no legs...Vis tilted his head curiously at the human creature but shook his head when he remembered he was supposed to be helping. Running at the birds of prey he snorted and abruptly turned, kicking up loads of sand into their faces. If only he could fly then he might have been able to bring down the mysterious shells safely. But all he could hope for is jumping and kicking at them and flinging sand up to blind them. How he hoped he could save the two innocent creatures. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Either one! Gaia Name: Meryt-Ryre (used to be Edit) Character: Merrylegs ( picture!) RP reply: (According to Word, this is 499 words - sorry if it's a bit long, was just fun to imagine!) Merrylegs had been made to wear his halter-rope again, and the little pony had not been best pleased. Two tipped over loads of washing, one dropped kettle and a stolen shoe later he was happily trotting away from his tepee home. That’d teach his girl for trying to tie him up!
The mischievous grey dropped the moccasin from his mouth in a patch of close cropped grass so that his owner Chilali might find it – or rather so he could snatch up a couple of mouthfuls of new shoots. That was his rationalisation for the ‘kind’ act of putting the shoe somewhere visible and he was sticking to it. For all his impish ways, he did have a kindly heart. And for all her ropes and fussin’, Merry had grown fond of his twolegger really.
Two leggers now, they weren’t bad sorts, he thought, as he wandered down towards the beach. They just got carried away sometimes. Lately there’d been a great big hullabaloo about mer-soquili or kepie or something of that nature, for example. And the way Chilali always hated him trying to nibble at her silly flowers was another. And then there was the rope he was trailing behind him…silly two-legs!
He snickered to himself as he crested the first sand dune, amused. Merry wished he could see Chilali’s funny round-ish face when she found that shoe! His high spirits were cut through then he heard a two-legs cry out.
"SOMEONE HELP ME!!" He snapped ‘round his head, ears forward. See? Another hullabaloo!
Curious and worried by the distressed sounding shout Merry walked, then trotted, and finally cantered as quick as his short legs could carry him. A no-legs (for that was what he was calling the Merloks, who had a fin but no actual legs as far as he could tell) was obviously distraught about something. Merry couldn’t just stand by, especially when he saw the two plunging shapes of the osprey.
Just wasn’t good form, two vs. one and flying at him like that!
Besides, weren’t those shells the baskets of those water-bound soquili?? He liked foals and was a good-natured usdia really. Now Merrylegs really did hurry, reaching the scene just as the osprey started to get airborne.
One bird was bowled over by the fat little pony outright and sprawled over the shell. The second however, suffered a much more interesting fate. As Merry turned to scream his anger at the second foal attacker, the rope he trailed whipped around too with the momentum. Having been trailed a good long way, it had picked up debris, including a number of broken shells that got stuck in the fraying end. It whacked into the bird like a flail.
Surprised, Merry snorted and stamped, hooves narrowly missing the shells he was trying to save. Then he turned to look at the second bird with the most devilish grin, wicked delight in his eyes.
“I have me here a bird whacker. Want to try it, lad?” twisted Which kelpi shell do you want?: Mahi-mahi, please!

Your Gaia Name: CuterThanYou Characters: Dorian (he's such an RP ham XD; ) Your RP paragraph: (326 words) Dorian had been walking along the sand, admiring the way his dark skin went well with the ocean scenery, when he heard a frantic screaming. It wasn't in his character to play the hero (that was his father's role, of course), but after seeing two large birds struggling to carry two rather heavy looking shells, his teal eyes grew wide. The shells themselves were very gorgeous in color, and it did neither of them justice to be toted around by two horrific looking birds. Really, what were those silly birds thinking?!
He paused, thinking over his options. The two legger lying on the ground... no, scratch that, the finned legger lying on the ground, apparently found those two shells to be very important, if he was screaming his dark haired head off about them. Perhaps they had a priceless treasure lying inside of them? And those birds... those ugly birds were going to steal the treasure!
Snorting, he took a running start and then a flying leap up into the sky, his wings lifting him up in the air as he moved to cut off the osprey's path. They hadn't made it too terribly high up yet, and hopefully the large stallion flying up at their level would spook them enough to drop the shells back down. After all, it's not everyday that a gorgeous stallion like himself would pay any mind to filthy scavengers like them. It would do them good to get startled. Not only that, but Dorian was sure he’d get some well-earned praise from the finned one on the beach, should he rescue the two beauties. And praise was something far more valuable to the alicorn than any material treasure. Dorian himself was a fetching treasure when it came to appearances… why would he need anything else?
Grinning, he tossed back his mane and steadied himself for the inevitable collision, prepared to thoroughly enjoy the birds’ expressions when they finally noticed him.

Your Gaia Name: mouselet Characters: Moltres ( Picture ) Your RP paragraph: He must've been standing on the beach, staring at the wide expanse of the ocean, for hours when the scream reached his ears. Moltres raised his head in startlement, looking wildly for the source. Not too far from him there was a...a fish-human?...grabbing wildly at two large shells that the seabirds were trying to carry off.
Moltres didn't know what was going on, but it couldn't be good for the poor boy! Giving a trumpeting neigh, he took a running start, jumped into the air, and glided over to the conflict.
Thankfully, the birds weren’t too high as of yet and he was easily able to take a superior position over them, miming kicks and snapping his teeth. Of course, Angeni aren’t made to hover, and he was forced to land or fall out of the air.
This didn’t discourage Moltres in the least. He was tall, and used that height to continue snapping and worrying at the birds. He considered rearing to his full height and lashing out, but that might damage the shells, and from the way the boy was acting, that might not be a good idea. So he tried aiming his bites, trying to bite their wings, their heads, anything that would get them to drop the shells.
He wasn’t trying to kill them. The thought didn’t even cross his mind. He only wanted to help the boy by getting the seabirds to let the shells go.
As a last resort Moltres tried fanning and flapping his wings at them. Perhaps the firery feathers would scare them into dropping the shells. He could only hope and try.Which kelpi shell do you want?: I hate to be unoriginal, but the wahoo is gorgeous. <3

Your Gaia Name: Twitchapher Characters: Twitch, Sekhmet, Atum, shell Your RP paragraph:
"Must you carry that shell where ever you go? Doesn't it belong within the seas, Atum? I should order you to put it back!"
"Mother! I can not just leave it alone! What if something was to befall it?"
Twitch rolled her eyes at the mother and son winged soquili bickered about the shell apon the male's back. The human woundered if Atum wasn't really a female, ever since he found that shell abannoned apon the shore he had been mothering it almost obessively. "Quit it you two! Your acting like foals!" Twitch said to them, lifting the shell off of Atum's back and carring it for once. The two black soquili just snorted at their two-legger. Gezz, I can just feel the love around here. Twitch thought to herself. Both of her soquili always did this. The soquili within the shell knickered, almost a laugh. "Hey, I still have a chance with you!" She commented to the shell as the left the forest and walked along the beach.
The adult female rolled her eyes. "Doubt it." She grinned as she was glared at.
"Do you two hear something? What's that?!" The male's eyes widened as he spotted the two ospreys carring the large shells and the screaming Ajadi. "We have to help them!"
"Why? It's the circle of live after all."
"MOTHER!"
With another roll of her eyes the mare snorted. "Fine! I got the one on the left." The mare when into a full gallop, gainning speed before opening her black and golden wings and taking to the skies, her son not too far behind her. The two birds were easy to catch up to as the heavy shells made the flight difficult. With a swift kick of her leg to the birds head she knocked the bird out, flying underneath the falling shell so it landed safetly on her back before landing apon the soft sand of the beach. She looked up to watch her son battle the more subborn one be he too maniged to catch the falling shell apon his back and landed safetly beside his mother. Sekhmet looked over to the mer-two legger and snorted. "Your lucky this time, but next time the shells are going to the birds.'
"MOTHER!"

Your Gaia Name: Summer Raven Characters: Bairn Your RP paragraph:
Today was pretty close to being called the most boring day, in a long while. Nothing terribly interesting happened, and the stallion decided it best to just plop down and sleep, since it was the only exciting thing-
"HELP HELP!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!" Bairn's ears heard the desperate call almost immediately and quickly ran towards it. The boy that looks like a fish seemed to be in trouble...but no, it wasn't him that needed the saving.
It was two beautiful shells, being attacked by nasty birds. Oh-ho, no way. Those shells obviously had baby soquili in them, since he instantly reconized the glistening gems. Dark eyes glared, his head raised high, as he gained speed towards the nasty birds. There was no way in hell Bairn was going to let those creatures steal a baby just like there was no way he'd ever let a Kalona eat it's own kids. "Damn birds." He spat, and payed no attention to the fish-boy. Obviously he could do nothing himself, and Bairn seemed to be the only one who was around.
Damn birds. Last time he had to save his familiar from those birds, and now he had to save shells. "Hey! Birdbrains! You get away from those shells or I'll blow you're bloody freakin' heads off!" Of course, the stallion hadn't meant a word of it, since he wasn't a violent soquili. He much prefered scaring them away with harsh words. "I swear, you let them go or I'll get my winged friends to chase you and your families in the sky until you get so damn tired of flying, that you decide to land. And when that happens, I'll make you suffer." He looked rather pleased with himself, saying that...it had, afterall, been while since he threatened anything.
Stepping closer to the nasty buggers, Bairn raised his voice to scream some more. Nasty little buggers. They weren't getting away with this, not with him around. Not when the safety of little'uns was being questioned. He was a father himself, and couldn't stand to see something like this happen. Parents or no parents, the fish-boy would be there for whatever was inside...right?
"Stupid birds. Do you really want to ruin your reputation by eating something that is so delicate? I always thought you went after larger things." He sneered, getting even closer.

Your Gaia Name: Grey Dragon Characters: KalYour RP paragraph: Kal was grazing not far from the beach when he heard a frantic cry for help. He jumped a little, and then ran towards the source. Every pace brought him closer, and made him more afraid. 'What if it's someone being attacked? What if I'm not big or strong enough to help?' his mind questioned, but Kal tried to squelch those little voices. He was going to be brave this time. So what if he had to repeat the phrase more than once before he got to the scene?
He galloped out to the beach where the mer flailed and quickly noticed the two ospreys trying to fly away, each struggling under the weight of a giant shell. The little alicorn had never seen such large shells before, but he had heard about them. They had to be those water soquili's baskets! He was quick to figure out why the two legger with... a tail instead of two legs was so concerned, and the danger the two shells would be in if he hesitated. If the ospreys really got into the air or away from the beach, it wouldn't be safe to let the shells go since they would fall too far, or strike solid ground instead of soft sand.
Having hardly slowed his run, Kal changed directions so he ran at the low flying ospreys head on. They would certainly see him coming, but that was precisely the point. As he got closer he spread his wings as wide as he could, any smart bird would have to change directions to fly away, or gain some altitude so they didn't run straight into him. He even tried to yell to make the birds panic further, even if it came out more like a squeaky whinny with his nerves. Since the shells were such a burden, the (hopefully startled) ospreys would have to let the the shells fall back to the safety of the sand if they were to make their escape.

Your Gaia Name: sage_the_vampirc_angel Characters: Sage Your RP paragraph: Walking alone along the beach, Sage held the over sized basket of flowers and fruit she had collected along with her pink mare. Glancing down at the basket, she paused for a moment wonder how she had gotten stuck lugging the basket back while the mare ran off to find her friends. Shaking her head slightly, the pale girl gently pushed her long red hair back from her face as she turned from the beach to go to her teepee outside the village. She had been so involved in her own thoughts that she hadn’t noticed the being join her on the shore, but she surely heard his yelling. Glancing to the being, Sage instantly noted the mer prince the others in the village had been speaking of. Turning slightly she glanced up slightly at the osprey carrying away the lovely shells she could only believe had come from mer prince. “ Evil birds, hold on sir…. I’ll help you” Pausing Sage turned glancing around quickly, a grim look quickly pasted over her face. She had only one choice of things to throw. Sighing softly, She reached down into the over sized basket with one hand. Clenching her hand around the green apple, She shook her red hair out of her gaze before launching the apple at the birds. Grabbing another apple quickly she dropped the rest of the basket, feet digging into the soft sand she pushed herself forward running to catch the first shell as one of the osprey dropped it. Gasping as she barely caught the first shell, Sage gently set it down as quickly as she could in the grass beyond the beach. Her gaze turned sky wards, the short girl started running again once again, propelling forward she spotted the bird ahead of her slightly. Sage knew she would need to get slightly closer to hit the second bird. Panting lightly, Sage clenched her eyes closed as she got closer to the second osprey the apple seemingly launching its self from her hand at the bird. Skittering forwards, Sage tripped her arms fling out in front of her to catch the second shell as she hit the ground. Sighing softly as she stood with the large shell in hand, Sage turned heading back to the beach stopping to pick up other shell. Moving to the Mer prince she sent the shells down before him before turning to get her basket. Which kelpi shell do you want?: wahoo

Your Gaia Name: Zee Oddwyn Characters: DementiaYour RP paragraph: It really was a very nice day. The sun was shining, the wind blowing pleasantly, the sand luxuriously warm, the human thing yelling loudly…
Wait a minute. Human-thing? Dementia startled out of her doze, and stared at the human thing that was half in and out of the water. What was wrong with it? The top part looked fine, but its lower half was all wrong. It looked like it was half fish! Was that why it was yelling? Dementia felt that if she ever found herself to be a half human, half fish thing that she’d yell, too, so she let it be and tried to get back to sleeping.
But it wouldn’t stop yelling! Annoyed now, Dementia laid her ears back and cantered over to the human thing to give it a piece of her mind.
Hooves kicking sand up, she crashed to a stop before the human thing, and whinnied angrily at it.
“Listen, I understand. Life is horrible for you. You were never supposed to be. You wish someone would put you out of your misery, but I’m just too busy taking a nap. Your yelling is really annoying me, so, could you, I don’t know, yell underwater, or something? Just do it somewhere I can’t hear you.”
But the human thing continued to wave its limbs about, and yell. It seemed to be pointing to something in the sky, so, feeling she should try to show some sympathy to the poor thing, she humored it by looking there. And there were two Ospreys winging their burdened way above two large, oddly colored clamshells.
“Okaaay. Those clamshells are way too big for those Osprey to carry. How on Earth are they staying up?” Dementia said, noticing that the human thing was indeed pointing to the clamshells. So, it was upset about the Osprey taking its clamshells? Well, maybe if she retrieved them, it would shut up. So Dementia launched herself into the air, catching up quickly to the burdened birds.
She darted in front of one, flaring the Evil Face pattern on her wings, and screaming like a banshee. The combined sensory shock made the bird drop its burden. Dementia dived after the falling shell, just barely managing to catch the edge of it in her teeth, and slow its fall. Both she and the shell landed in the sand with a soft, if ungraceful, whump, and once Dementia made sure the one shell was okay, she took off after the other Osprey.
Not wanting to have to dive again after the shell, Dementia instead bullied the Osprey to a lower altitude by flying above it, and swiping at it with her hooves. Once it was low enough, a well-aimed kick sent the bird packing, and the shell fell into a soft dune.
Mission accomplished, Dementia pushed the shells to within reach of the human thing, which had stopped yelling, and went back to a well deserved nap.Which kelpi shell do you want?: Wahoo, please!

Your Gaia Name: Amirynth Characters: Malis Your RP paragraph: *points below* Which kelpi shell do you want?: The Mahi-mahi please ^-^~Ajadi Ajadi set the kelpi shells on a patch of seashells that appeared to of been broken and emptied.
Malis had been off exploring the cliffs around the bay that suddenly held so much meaning for her. Trecking towards the spot where her and a whole herd of Soquili had been the first ones to 'make touch' with the mer-kingdom. Another world for her to explore, the troll couldn't wait. Unfortunately first she was in need of learning to breathe underwater... not only that but she needed to get over her dislike of getting wet. Staring off towards the horizon she lazily watched a few birds of prey wheel around in the sky. They seemed to be on the look out for something and the blue mare followed their gaze and spotted the no-legger prince she had met before.
Like watching a herd of slow moving kodo run themselves off a cliff to their doom she watched as first one osprey and then the other dive down towards their prizes. It was then she realized what their objects of interest were. Throwing up sprays of sand in all directions the troll thundered down the side of the sand bank without a thought. "Oi! Ya shouldn't be stealin' there!" She yelled out loud and rushed against one of the feathered fiends, hoping to headbutt them into submission. Luckily the weight of the shell prevented her target from gaining much altitude and Malis knocked him out of the air like she had done with those funny leather balls her two-legger would play with. She felt the sharp claws of the bird scrape against her cheek and catch hold of her tusk as they collided. Throwing her head back with a growl, all that was left in her vicinity was a few feathers, the owner skirting higher to safety, minus one shell.
Unfortunately this had given the other one a chance to get out of her range. "Bah! Ya t'ink ya be all smart wit' t' flyin' don'tcha." Malis growled and started off in the shell's weaving direction. She figured that he wouldn't be able to carry such a heavy object for long and hoped that either it'd drop it first or at least fly low enough for her to attack in some way. To her delight another solution presented itself. "Ah be likein' ya t' try flyin' after this!" The troll had noticed a large number or smooth round rocks laying around, perfect for her favorite game of 'hoof-it'. Quickly she nosed one into place and squinted at the departing winged critter. Slamming her hoof sideways she sent it sailing into the air. The large pebble rose gracefully in the direction of the osprey before landing on the ground narrowly missing the bird. A frown from the blue mare and another search later Malis was found cantering after the brown avian a new stone in her mouth. It was then she realized the bird was now slowing down, his flight pattern getting lower and lower. She had a chance to catch up to him and this time she was sure not to miss. edit: Woot! finally back down to 500 words *dances*

Your Gaia Name: X-Ronso-X Characters: Indian Persona Ronnie Your RP paragraph:
Ronnie had been lazily sitting atop the large, smoothed stones several lengths from the bay with her quill of arrows and bow strapped across her back. Looking out towards the bay, Ronnie knitted her brows as she glanced upwards as something shiny seemed to reflect within the air accompanied by two Osprey that were flying very, very low with- was that something clutched within their talons? She stared a bit harder, a bit more able to make out the object.
“Those are some pretty massive shells,” Ronnie mused, not thinking much of it really.
But that was until she heard the panicked cry from a familiar voice.
Her eyes widened as they shot towards the bay where the familiar Prince, Ajadi frantically shouted and flailed his arms within the air and then glanced back towards the two Ospreys that continued to try to fly away.
Those weren’t any shells those were-
“Oh spirits and sticks!” She exclaimed
Without time to waste, Ronnie leapt from off of the rock-face and down onto the sandy and pebble encrusted ground. The young adolescent native sprinted faster while trying to formulate an approach to all of this. But as her eyes kept locked upon the two Osprey’s she couldn’t help but wince slightly as her stomach churned with a small realization.
That weight- that weights not going to hold and those shells are going to break! Her mind screamed silently as she neared towards the two birds.
Unconsciously, Ronnie reached behind her back to scratch the back of her head as a nervous reaction but seemed to jostle slightly as her fingers slid against the slick, wooden form of her bow. She bit her lower lip. Was it right to use her bow against an animal? Her brows furrowed. She couldn’t feel justice in killing them but whatever were in those shells she couldn’t let the birds get away, could she? They seemed very important to the Prince and as he had helped them soothe the troubles with his Father and open up a barrier between both land and sea Ronnie felt the desire and urge to help him.
Rushing forwards, she began yelling in her native tongue of Cherokee. “HEY OSPREY! Hetsi utsatina tsisquas! Gohassgv hia uyaska!”
The birds diverted their direction towards the shallows of the ocean and Ronnie pulled her bow from behind her back and swept an arrow from its quill. She felt her heart race, muscle in her arms tense as he curled two fingers upon the shaft of the arrow and pulled back the string. Steady, steady! Her eyes narrowed towards the two birds as she watched their wings flap with the similar struggling rhythm and, at the right moment as they synchronized, she took a deep breath and released her grip.
The arrow soared within the air and she held her breath. Which kelpi shell do you want?: Mahi-Mahi
