Icarus was wading in the mid-range depth of the river, watching some of the fish swim by. It felt like a lazy day and he really didn't want to swim, but he didn't want to take a stoll on the land either. Letting the water float him around was a better plan to pass the time at the moment, swishing his tail to and fro to navigate himself in a circle.

So far the day had passed as any other. Caprice was carelessly wading herself against the flow of a cool river. The river was just the perfect height to keep her nicely moist, but also let the wind blow through her fins. All around her, both life in and around the water was buzzing. Fish jumped happily out of the water, birds chirped from the skys above. But all this busling activity only seemed to wear Caprice out; perhaps it was time for an afternoon nap.

Icarus closed his eyes, wading peacefully in the river. He still moved in lazy circles....until he ran into something solid. He opened his eyes wide, then blinked at the other kelpie. "Oh...I'm sorry. Hello."

Caprice let out a tiny squeel and opened her eyes as something large toppled into her. However, this all happened extremely slowly, as she was just opening her eyes from a nap. Even if it was only a few minutes long. Before her eyes stood a large, purple kelpi with a single horn on his head. Caprice couldn't help her suprise at seeing another kelpi so far from the ocean. When she left, she'd felt odd leaving her home. But apparently, this was nothing strange.
"Oh, don' worry abou' it. Coulda happened to anyone. Anyways, name's Caprice, nice to meet ya." Caprice said lightheartedly.

"I'm Icarus...I was just spiraling lazily here. Nothing much else going on," Icarus shrugged, looking curiously at this other kelpi. He was staring at her fin-like mane. "Your mane is like my father's..."
