Sorry, I need to vent! D:
Okay, so today in Geometry, I offered to show the class how to do a proof (my teacher asked the kids in class to show the class) and I accidentally used the wrong proof statement because I guess I accidentally looked at another problem. So I put it up on the board, it's all correct 'cept for the prove statement, and he rips it apart! Then he goes on saying that there are many many other ways to prove that, and just basically puts me down in front of the whole entire class.
So then this other girl (who really should absolutely NOT be in Honors) comes up and does this proof with only three steps when it needed six, right?
And he says thats okay.
"You're just missing a few steps. : D "
eek mad scream
It's like WOW! How can you be SO stupid? And keep in mind he's laughed at me before because of one of my proofs. And it just makes me
Angry.
Okay. I'm finished. c:

sad Poor you. I loathe when teachers play favorites. It's even worse when they play non-favorites, as in "I randomly dislike you". I've had teachers who just didn't like me. My kindergarten teacher, for example, hated me. It's so unfair. I know they're humans too, but I wish they'd be more objective. I'm sorry your teacher was such a moron.

Sounds like total a** material. I vote you shank him with your pencil next time he makes fun of you. Violence solves everything. =D Lol, but maybe just like tell him off. Tell him to shut up and go crawl under a rock. Or call him a walking brain, it's mean, but people hate it.
EDIT: I didn't realize it was a teacher, I would vote to tell him to not laugh, it's not fair, and you could grow up with various self-esteem issues later in life. -nodnod-

Ugh. I hate favoritist teachers.
In seventh grade, my math teacher made two kids stand outside because they weren't paying attention or sommat. Then, like ten minutes later, he let one of them back in. But not the other one because (and I quote): "You're uglier than [other kid]" And he was nooot joking. mad

I don't think i've ever randomly been hated by a teacher [i r teecher's pet. C:] but i have seen teachers play favorites. Last year in my world history class, our teacher gave us this test or something [i don't remember exactly what it was] and this girl Melissa didn't have hers finished. He told her she had to turn it in right then even though she wasn't finished. THEN, almost in the same breath, he tells one of his precious football players, who had no more of his paper done than Melissa, that he can keep it another day and work on it. >:[ Melissa didn't have hers finished because she was absent. Know what the football player's excuse was? He was gone a few minutes at the beginning of class. W.T.F????
I'm sorry your teacher's an assgoblin. sad

I always thought it was funny how most of the kids in my grade would complain about teachers and say how mean they are, but I would get them and get along great with them.
but the one teacher all the kids liked I hated so much because she promoted ghetto mentality.

I don't know. Mother told me to talk to my counselor, and I appreciate everyone's advice. : D 'Specially the violence one. 'Cause that's the best. c:
I had a dream about him attacking me though. Really creepy. I was really afraid to go to Geometry. D:

Psht, I get into fights with teachers when they do that. >8D If they want to cut me down, I'll do the same to them.
You could do what I do, but you might get in trouble.

Bah, high school teachers aren't everything =o= If it's really a problem you can talk to the vice principal. This one teacher hated my guts for no reason (I didn't even have her in any classes, ever, during high school), and one morning I was listening to my CD Player and threatens to send me to the principal's office because I was listening to it BEFORE SCHOOL. It's allowed before school, I knew that, but she was ready to drag my a** there, so I put it away, but then about a half hour later one of the vice principals (one who likes me) walked by and I asked him, and he said it was okay before school, and after, but not during (except for lunch, of course) and offered to have a little chat with her if I wanted. I said no ('cuz I wanted her to burn, not to be bitched at), but it just goes to show that some people just like making others miserable.

I'm not afraid to get into arguments with teachers. >: I had this one *awful* teacher in 8th grade... and it wasn't just me, everyone in the class started fights with him. He was terrible.
He actually left in the middle of the year and we got the best teacher EVER, so I guess some good came out of it. =D
sucks for you, though. sad I think you should try to talk to him about it, or a counselor - getting into an argument in the middle of the class might show him up then, but he definitely wont like you for it later, so talking one-on-one with someone might be better.
