Alina was happier then she could have imagined, her adoptive grandfather was a member of the same pack as herself. She had seen her bright friend Amarii not long ago. The chocolate hued femme was just so filled with life just as renewed as her loving grandfather.
Though filled with life, the dark chocolate and silvery-creme wolfess had been sleeping roughly. Dreams of a life that she didn't remember was coming out of the wood work, so much that she was walking out of her friend's pack's territory, again. Walking along the flowing babbling river Alina had learned that the sound of water was just as calm as her expressive less facial features.
Alina would return shortly, her grandfather needed her, but not until she found the odd wolves in the dormant memories. There were others like her, she could feel it. Maybe blood relation, she paused did Alina really want to meet these other wolves. There were two blue and white, a caramel and then one like her chocolate hued. Could these wolves be that of her long ago litter mates?
Her caramel eyes were the only thing in her face showing her flashing thoughts. The face was like a frozen block of chocolate, impervious to melting and unbendable.
"What am I really looking for?"
She questioned herself looking into the water.

As far as Snickers was concerned, there was nothing missing from his life. Except for legions of beautiful females adoring him and swooning at the mere mention of his name.....but that could wait. For now, at least. At the moment the chocolate-colored wolf was appeased with discovering the water-ways of the new packlands.
Sure, he was still miffed about the ordeal about not getting the position he rightly deserved in the pack instead of that jealous brown-noser of a sister of his... But that didn't mean that he couldn't look on the bright side of things. He was the hunter leader! Leader of the hunt and procurer of game for all! Why, the life of the entire pack depended upon his strapping manliness! Soon enough they'd all be bowing to him, not Crunch.
"Oh, Snickers, you are so fine~" The narcissist wolf cooed to himself, glancing into the mirror-like surface of river with a smirk on his maw. Striking white eyebrows waggled seductively, and licking a front foot awkwardly (he'd seen felines do it before), he pawed lightly at his cheek to wash it, though it only succeeded in getting his fur dirtier, though the difference wasn't much since his fur was dark-brown to begin with.
Seeming quite content with himself, the male swung his head downstream dramatically, held high as the same with his tail as he swaggered off, mentally mapping the river. Looking at him, one may actually thing he was something of an authority!

Walking as Alina was a costumed to she knew where most territories started and tended to travel in no man's land. It was her way of insuring that everyone she met could be counted as an equal. That is unless the one she met was a born alpha, but the only ones of those she had seen was her current alphas and a dead one.
Ooh, that memory made her eyes shudder. The scent of death had been just so thick! What made something come back from the dead? No...she shook her head. This stuff wasn't important and looking up the silvery-creme paws continued to move.
That is until she spotted the dark wolf with a high held head coming up along the other side of river. Alina just couldn't help but look at the other with narrowed eyes. The narrowing of her eyes was just that of curiously.

Completely oblivious to the presence of the other, Snickers padded closer to the river-bank, hips swaggering in what he assumed was a striking and manly stride. Lowering his maw, the wolf examined himself in the water's surface, raising his lips and running a tongue over his teeth. "Niiice~" Snickers purred, a grin coming to his lips.
But then, he noticed something in the water, something very very odd. The reflection of not only him, but another wolf! Raising light blue eyes he blinked towards the female, who actually seemed surprisingly familiar, such that he took a fumbled step backwards, tripping over a stick and landing back on his rump. He let out a shocked and embarrassed yelp as he looked towards Alina in bafflement.
"Who're you?" Snickers inquired, quite stupidly. Clearing his throat, the wolf shook his head. Where were his manners? He need to swoon all women, not scare them away! "I mean, may I ask what your name is, my fine lady?" Eyebrows waggled once as he tried to look as courageous as one could after falling on their bottoms.

Though the wolf had tried making himself look big and buffed up, he was obviously lacking the skills of any true high ranked wolf. She had gotten out and socialized with others, though it was always odd on her behalf with no visible expressions summoned up to her maw. The caramel eyes looked down the male's oddly characterized bold symboled sides. The same odd symbols that could match the ones race down her sides.
No smile cracked at the fall of this stranger, nor did a frown appear on her face with his sudden out burst. At first she just looked at him with her deep caramel eyes. Alina was struggling to remember her faded out dream, she sniffed the air for this familiar stranger's scent.
Mentally she shook her head, no the scent wasn't familiar to her nose. Well atleast not now, if it had ever been. Though there was just something odd and off about this male, her mind screamed that there was nothing. However, her heart told Alina to take a deeper look.
"I'm Alina from the Einsame Lykos pack. May I inquire who you are?" Alina asked in the normal chocolaty smooth voice she spoke in. Though it held a bit of question in the tones depths.

Suck it in....Suck.it.in, boy! His mind chided him, the wolf complying by pulling in his gut and puffing out his chest. This being the first female he'd met in a long time that wasn't related to him (or so he thought), he needed to impress her.
Which, really shouldn't be too hard, seeing he was such a freakin' stud. Why, if it were possible, he'd be his own mate, even though it would cast the female population into eternal jealousy of him because he got him and they didn't. So, he had to suffer for the good of the rest of the world. How caring he was...
Once the female spoke Snicker's chocolate-furred ears pricked, light blue eyes flicking towards her curiously, obviously breaking his cool and calm facade. "Snickers, of the Akiiki Chibale Pack. Pleased to meet you." The wolf replied, giving the ground a friendly smack with his tail.

The dark caramel eyes just looked at the male, had she any constant facial expression, one would think she was staring at Snickers. The weird actions of the chocolate male, puffing out his chest really, made the femme take a step back. Could it be possible of another male trumping Axel's ego?
"Same salutations, but your pack's name. I've never heard of it before; so are you all knew to the area?" This was a question really asked because she could smell three other scents on this male. Alina was just curious as to how many members were in this new pack and if they would be a threat to her new family in the distant.
The chocolate and creme female only twitched her ears as her tail swayed in the wind. This kinda reminded her of the first meeting with Amarii, then though she was just a hollow shell still trying to figure things out. Odd how meeting her adoptive grandfather, Patches, had finished shaping her body language and contortion of her face. Though the thoughts of her friend and returned grandfather brought a slight twitch to a corner of her maw.

The cocoa-y colored male gave a roll of his shoulders which somehow was supposed to translate into a wolven attempt at a shrug. Inhaling deeply, he looked towards Alina, eyes widening at a textbook attempt at horrible acting. Much too dramatic.
"Yes, I suppose you could say such. Such a tragedy, the whole pack, was, was distraught and frightened. But I," at this point Snickers stood, looking gallantly off in a random direction, "I, by myself, with my own four paws, carried them all upon my back to safety. We traveled for many days, but I wouldn't let them down, I carried them all the way.....here. Now this is where we rest, for now." He stood up straighter after the recollection of the 'horrible' tale of he and his family's travel here, before turning back to Alina. "We are virgin to these woods, lost, and alone. But, perhaps being the beautiful femme you are, you could possibly, show me around~?"
Snickers pulled on an 'I'm-so-freaking-hawt-worship-me' smile and took a sliding step closer to her, now determined to dazzle her with his wondrous tale.

((Lol, Oh boy, Snickers is a basket case. XD ))
Not actually knowing this male, she just looked at his flabbergasted in her own fashion. No longer would her emotions -if they were to show- would look like staring, her eyes held incredulous debate in the irises. Maybe she would tell Axel he now had competition in the woods, that could be interesting.
After Snickers got done with his tale, had she been any other wolf she might have played along with his words. But, alas she was a wolf of honesty and spoke her mind.
"Nice tale, Snickers, but I just don't see the logic in that story. How could one wolf carry at least," she sniffed the air again and nodded her head, "three others on his back?" Her words weren't meant to be insulting, her tone was just questionable of this aloof story.
Then she added, "But, if you still want, I am willing to show you about the land that I know, as for what's behind you. The direction I assume your new pack's territory lays, I have no idea about that land."

And just like that, his ego was deflated. And he was left to pick up the pieces, searching his shallow mind for a feasible explanation that would cause him to seem both truthful and witty. Oh-ho, he was a smart one, he was. Or at least he believed he was.
"Well...." Logic had never been the wolf's strong point, that was obvious. When in doubt, always go back to your strong-points, his mind told him, and easily enough he was able to concoct a lie. "Well, perhaps a normal wolf. But, not I!" He proclaimed, flexing his chest and front leg muscles almost spasmodically as he tried to look his studliest.
This of course, did not work, merely causing the wolf to appear to be having strange seizures. "That would be wonderful, Alina. An alpha must always know his territory." Before the wolf could stop himself, the word slipped. He was in some big s**t now, especially if Crunch found out.

Alina actually raised a dark eyebrow at these words, Did this wolf really think of her as a fool? The attempt again to puff up his chest, cause the weird muscle spasms in his legs got her a bit concerned. "Hopefully you didn't walk like that caring three others on you back for several miles," again her mind speaking before her mouth could swallow the words.
Maybe, even being around Axel and his over sized ego hadn't even prepared her for another like him. After all Axel had that weird red mane on the top of his head and his oddly colored body. She had just figured Axel was actually one of a kind and since he was in her pack she tolerated him, plus he was kind...outside the ego that is.
But when Snickers told her he was still up for an escort about and claimed title of alpha in his pack. She didn't say anything, sometime no words were better then her mind spitting things out. "Very well. What is the most important things that you feel your pack should have reference to?"

At that point, the wolf turned and looked at Alina quite incredulously, as though the mere idea of doing anything less was unimaginable. Snickers snorted. "Well of course I did. How ever was I to get my pack here otherwise?" He cooed, giving his head a dazzling head flip, the fur on his neck sticking up oddly because of it.
"The waterways." Snickers spat out almost immediately, thinking of his own interests first. Whatever else could a wolf need besides the rivers? Dazzling mirrors to show off his beauty and grace and intelligence, despite the fact you couldn't exactly see intelligence.

Alina looked at this wolf, she was having a hard time believing that he was the top dog in his pack. But then again she hadn't met any of the other members and if they were all like him, or close to it. She would stick with her own pack full of males that liked other males, preferably.
Something couldn't help but maybe think this wolf be one that tittered on the grass to his sexuality, but then again she didn't want to insult a complete strange. So she just nodded her head and ignored his first statement.
"Alright most of the water ways are interlocked. I mean you follow the river and they either branch off or pool up into ponds."

"Oh." Well, duh! Genius moment right there, obviously. Very alpha-like, inquiring about the obvious, and her simple answer left him a bit feather-flustered. Clearing his throat in a way he thought very dominatingly, he gave a sagely nod. "Of course, of course. I was just...testing you..Erm, yes. You've passed by the way." Snickers took that moment to slip Alina a wink, a grin twisting over his maw.
Wait, what else did a pack need? There had to be more than that, Crunch had lectured on about it endlessly whilst they traveled. Of course, paying all the attention he did, Snickers hadn't picked up a word of it. Obviously it was his older brother fault for speaking so boringly. Hills? Trees? No, no he could see the trees. Rocks? No, rocks were all around. "Aruh-hunting grounds! Yes, yes, hunting grounds. We need those." Quickly the wolf nodded, very pleased for remembering that.

Alina sighed and rolled her eyes, hey she actually showed a bit of emotion and that perked the femme up a bit. Even though the "test" was a bit dull. Or at least whatever the male was yammering about and at his wink the impassive face re-solidified.
Aw, but hunting grounds alright the first some what intelligent things she heard from Snickers. "Those I would be glad to point out a couple good hot spots. Especially if your pack plans on growing in size you'll need to know that." she stated and hopped over the water to lead the way to one of her personal favorite hunting areas.
