The project is for my painting class. We have to choose a theme or a word and each letter has to relate to the entire word. I choose LOLITA (yes, it has to be capital letters) and I am having trouble with some letters and need picture references.
For the first L, it will be a sock. O - parasal L - shoe I - headband T - A
sketch
I'm not sure about the last two. I was thinking for T a lacy ribbon and for A a dress.
I would appreciate it if you do help me and give me picture references. I do not care what style it is, the more variety the better. But please keep in mind, I do have to paint them in the end.
Thank you. ^^

This is more art/style related than lolita related, but have you looked into Erte's alphabet series? That may be a good place to begin for inspiration, they're very lush and positively gorgeous.

Thank you, but it didn't really help.

For the A you could use the skirt stated above, but with legs coming out the bottom.
The T is giving me a headache too... I'll try harder.

Thank you for all the ideas. This is [I think and hope] will be the final:
L - sock O - parasol L - shoe I - bow (headband) T - blouse A - skirt
So basically an entire outfit. Yet, I want to show different styles. I would really appreciate it if someone posted reference pictures. Thank you so much! heart

I suggest ribbons tough and if you can make everything elegant looking.
I had a kind of similar project at school a few days ago, well it was a bit different. To make a long story short, I did the word elegant and made it in very elegant and bowy lettres. it took me so much work o.0

No it doesn't. Only the first handful of Bibles and some Kera mags.
And other than that, most of those scans aren't really good examples.
