Kimia, for once, had not been following around Adamu like his shadow. For a while now she'd taken to avoiding her lovely dusty colored friend. She couldn't stand to tell him she was dying! Something was eating up her insides and it wasn't pleasant and she had no clue how it'd gotten in there.
Her tail flicked as she sat on a rock close to the trees in the Kusini lands. A small frown was planted on her face and she glanced down to her stomach. But if something was eating her why was she getting fatter? Oh she couldn't let Adamu know!
She slipped off the rock and headed for Adamu's spot.

Adamu was sitting on his rock, like always, resting deeply. He had been doing a lot of late night hunting, looking after the borders for his half brother and thinking. He was so confused now, he had a mate, a female that called him her’s. He loved it, yet at the same time feared it.
He also never felt good knowing he could never put his mate before his job as the king’s protector. He would follow Tamu into any battle; he would do anything to make sure that the king was safe.
Could he be that way for her too? His tail twitched as he yawned and rolled onto his back side, sighing.

As she neared she spotted the younger male and her heart warmed. But then it also froze. Right, she'd come here to tell him something was wrong!
"Whatchya doin'?" She said cheerfully as she hopped onto the rock, immediately cuddling into his chest as he lay on his back with a playful giggle escaping her maw. Oh she didn't want to tell him she was fat! Or that things inside of her were eating her intestines and stomach and such!

Adamu hadn’t noticed her change in body weight yet, no, he was too lost within his own worry to really look her over in that way. His tail twisted as he jumped up and smiled at her, nuzzling her back.
“Nothin’, just thinkin’, and you love?”
His eyes softly narrowed onto her face as he purred some and smiled.
“Been keepin’ busy? I haven’t seen you in a few days.”

She purred and giggled, snuggling into his side but not watching him. Oh how could she tell him? "I... I have been hiding." She said, guilt pouring into her features. "Adamu I've fotten fat!" She whined the last bit out and her eyes started to fill with tears.
"And I think some thing's killing me!" She breathed out, shifting and moving so she could face him, looking terribly afraid and upset. She didn't want him to go away because she was fat and dying! He promised to stay with her always, hadn't he?
