Everybody seems to be pretty into doing a photo contest.
In order to do one, we need themes, so suggest away!
I'll do a poll after we get a few of them. :3

No way, my dad's garden/pond is amazing and would at least place pretty high if not take the cake. Here are a few themes:
black and white photpgraphes
nude? (or would that be too risque?)
sitting poses
standing poses
indoors
outdoors
abstract art?
posing with people
flowers
cosplay
CG editing
possibly even used in a website layout
And at the moment, that's all I got. I would be willing to enter any of these except for maybe the CG editing because my computer hates me.

I would be willing to enter them all. Especially posing with people. <3 I could dress up! (although I'd do an EGL with Reila, and I don't have an EGL dress that I actually like.)
Nude is fine with me. We'd have to check with Gaia. As they're dolls, and this is a guild... I don't think they'll mind all that much.
How does this sound? We pick a theme, and then we'll have three categories or something. Best pose (standing and sitting) and best overall. (more, if people can come up with that!)
Let's see how the photo contest works out, and then we'll decide if we want to start doing prizes. :3

Works for me, I can make decent girl outfits, but no guy or msd sized ones, sorry. I could probably make some unisex accessories that would fit male and female dolls tho.

I'm guessing that an edited photo contest would be good. (as in taking a photo of a doll and seeing who could do the best thngs withit in photoshop...) ( sorry i having been posting. I just came back from vacation.)

Now we have a bit of an idea what themes that people like and have mentioned more than once such as:
black and white
loli/cosplay
posing with human
CG edits
flowers
These are the ones that I have seen people take interest in the most in this thread and the first one so is there anything else that we could add or leave it like it is?

Okay. I don't know if I have any say (seeing how I don't have a BJD yet), but I think outdoors pictures always come out really nice (from what I've seen in the guild and in other various galleries).

Yes outdoor pictures do tend to come out better because of the natural sunlight, but manipulating indoor light to look good isn't very hard to do. I think it's about time for a poll to decide on the theme(s).
