Hello! Just wanted to introduce myself--

I'm 26, from southeastern Louisiana. I hadn't thought to find a 21+ guild for the two years I've been here. Thankfully, I've found some, now. (I think that it just got under my skin that almost everyone I meet recently has been 10 years younger than me, on average.)

I frequented a bit a few years back, and then stopped because life caught up with me. I came back again after seeing an ad for the site in a magazine (intriguing!). I've been amazed with the improvements that have been made since then!

I'm hoping to make new friends this time around...some that are hopefully my own age. rofl

I'm willing to attempt to organize a chat or a public message thread on Friday nights. I know that many of you have concerns about meeting times, but we have so many members, the least we can do is send out a news bulletin, eh? At the very least, let some of the other members of Gaia know that groups like this exist through some kind of public gathering outside of the guild.... crying

Thoughts? Reiterations? sweatdrop 2 years is a long time to think you're all by yourself in this place...

I hope that a weekly gathering would be do-able... 3nodding If everyone knew a time and place, they could at least rely on attending a chat on the odd day off even if they wouldn't nornally be able to attend.

...hm...movie night sounds fun.... those cinemas are really great for banter and interaction... heart

I'm in central time, here, but I can make a regular Gaia date for 11:30 PM Central (12:30 AM your time) to whenever on Fridays.

I'm throwing the extra 30 minutes in there because I actually meet up with some IRL friends in Friday evenings, and sometimes I've gotten home slightly later than 11.

(No kids yet, but I just can't handle what I used to) rofl

*thinks about where to meet* there are far too many possibilities for meet-ups on this site. If anyone wants to throw a house party, or start a rally, it's completely doable.

In fact, that's what I'll do! That way even if only one person shows up, we'll have something to do ^_^
