Hi! I'm reading Dense Macabre and so far I'm not dissapointed. However, I have read pretty far into the book, considering I just got it this weekend and had homework and such. Anyway, I was wondering if this new Richard shown after Anita and Jean-claude do that thing to raise the power level, will stay with us? I personally like him this way. Its a lot better than the a** he usually is. XD So, does he stay or does he go?

If you have read the entire series then you have to see the pattern with Richard. I would Suggest reading the Harlequin as well you will see what i mean. rolleyes

I mean, I miss the old Richard... like when he's first introduced. I actually kinda rooted for him there for a sec. Now he's just an a**!

i totally rooted for Richard in the beginning, and thought jean-Claude should get lost. now i would be quite happy to push richard off a cliff if it wouldn't kill Anita and JC. (and probably damian and nathaniel).

With the way the books are going I'd push Richard off a cliff just because it would kill Anita, Nathaniel and Damian. I kinda like Damian but I'd risk him to rid of the constant bitching and self loathing from Anita, Richard and Nathaniel.
I'm betting Jean-Claude will survive it all because apparently he's been hiding his real power from everyone.

Richard is a great character. He just need some growing up to do and I still have hope he'll come through. I've read all the books and think that someday Richard will accpect himself and Anita and finally be like the Richard we all know and love.

I absolutely adore Richard, one because he is physically my type in every way, and two, because he's still trying to stay true to his morals.
What I don't like about him is the fact that he's being irrational and not truely accepting what he is. Personally I'd feel like the luckiest guy alive to be part of an uber triumverate of power and be a wolf king.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with the general consensus that Richard needs to grow up and realize that he's hurting everyone and himself. There's the on-going pattern of him going back to old Richard then freaking out, then back to old Richard, etc etc.

it WAS pretty cold what Anita did to him, but then again, if he had just taken her suggestion and changed for her in the room, instead of changing on top of her in the Lupanar, then eating Marcus, I'm sure she would have been able to handle it better.
But yeah, personally I think he hit an all time low in Harlequin...

I'm so fed up with Richard at this point. I'd wish him dead if it wouldn't possibly kill Anita too.
Until he wakes the ******** up, I can't forgive him.

I guess in his defense he turned into a werewolf as a direct opposite effect caused by a shot that was supposed to protect him. But a grown man can only be emo for so long. Anita doesn't do emo. She has guns. and cuddlebunnies.
