Isithunzi was getting some simple R&R. Really, she hadn't realized how far away she had been from her past homelands, and she knew it now. Especially considering the scortching heat of late, the dark colored lioness contentedly plopped down into the shade beside the lonely water hole. There hadn't been water for about a day, so the lioness was greatly overjoyed to have found some. It was a relatively large water hole, too. Her toes were dipped in at the edge as the rest of her was covered in the shade of one of the few trees around it. She turned her pink eyes skyward and asked, "Why does it have to be so blasted hot?"
