got married, who would you want it to be to and why?
Sorry if this has been asked before; I would like to see what people think, first about Anita getting married at all, and second who they would want to see married to Anita (if anyone). And you could pick more than one, if you like, the answer is not limited in any way wink

heh...actually...I can't see Anita getting married at all...there are too many men in her life...but I guess Micah since he's so easy to get along with, but getting married to him would make the monster world confused since she's 'bound' to Jean-Claude...being Jean-Claude's Human Servant...I would think that she can't marry and she couldn't marry him b/c I would think to them that a servant is a servant and it would be like....royalty marrying a peasant (I hope you get what I mean). I can't see Anita getting married, but I could see her spending the rest of her life with Micah and Jean-Claude. I leave Asher out b/c she may hurt his feelings some day and Damien is just....hers, but she wouldn't marry him. And Nathaniel...he would be like a child that she never had. See...too many guys in her life....I just can't see her getting married.

no, never, she's too busy, and I agree that she has too many men in her life. But if, big HUGE if, she ever got married, I'd say nathanel, or maybe Micah, I can't see her marrying Jean-Claude, I think in the end she'd leave him because he has asher, and richard...no just no, her and richard have to be over, he has to fix his demons first. so that leaves the kittys, and I'd still lean more towards micah, unless nathanel grows some gonads and stops acting like such a submissive. I think that's a real turn off to her.

Anita won't marry. She's not the marrying type. She's the slutty-must-shag-everything-type now
If she had to.....Jean-Claude. Because every other guy sucks, in my opinion.

She'd have to be a polygamist, because she likes different things about each of her guys. heart

I agree with you completely...why marry when she can sleep with everyone now? Without perhaps being yelled at by a husband? But still...she's lacking her so hard morals she used to have plenty of.

There's no way she's getting married with so many men willing to share. Especially since she's already admitted that she likes [at least] two in bed with her and getting married would probably cause what's ever left of her moral ground to shout "Officer down!" and come running to end the show. Besides, sex is like dinner for her and she'll never agree to the same meal every night.
But.. since my imagination is turned on tonight I will say she'd marry Micah because he's whipped and therefore easier to control than manic depressive Richard, who would drown himself in pack members like he was the new keeper of the ardeur upon hearing the news. Asher would eat Nathaniel and then walk into the sun because there'd be too much melancholy for them to live.. with. Then Jean-Claude would have to go crazy and eat everyone that's left because there's no way in hell he'd agree to marriage (risk losing half of Guilty Pleasures, Circus of the Damned etc to someone so indecisive? I think not!). And Edward would have to come to town and serve Jean-Claude a breakfast sized can of whoop a** to clean up all the mess this marriage has made. Not to mention bury Anita since losing so many parts of her two triumverates will kill her.. or turn her from Necromancer Powerhouse to RPIT Janitor ;p

And it seems that all of you are of the opinion that she either shouldn't or won't get married - not surprising, but interesting. I'm not even quite sure I have my own opinion about this yet. . .

I definitely don't think she will ever get married. She had her chance with Richard when she said yes to him, and as soon as she said yes, she knew it wouldn't work deep down inside.
She is just not the marrying kind. And besides, what is a little piece of paper when she is bound forever to Jean-Claude & Richard through their triumvirate. She is also bound to Micah as Nimir Ra and Nimir Raj. She is bound to more people, but I don't want to give ID spoilers. These metaphysical & mystical bindings are way deeper than any marriage license would be.

Towards the beginning of the series I could have seen her getting married... but not to any of the cast at the time. If Micah had been there then, she probably could have married him because he's the only one that doesnt piss her off all the time. But he wasnt there then... and now its too late. Her morals when it came to marriage has gone down the drain.... She cares about a good bit of the cast... but she'll never be able to love just one of them and deny the others. Its too late.

I think I'd cry if she ever did get married. I never really saw her as the settling type from the first book... I don't know why. She's the ultimate playa!! I like having her single and with many guys....

Anita is too afraid of commiting herself...plus she's so busy with her job, and she's afraid of getting them hurt because of it...sooo...I don't think she will. I duno, maybe she will, but not in the near future. She has too many things to worry about now, and a husband isn't something she wants added to the pot ^^;

I prefer the Anita of the earlier books so much more. She'd get married. I can't see this Anita doing that.

Ted Forrester I prefer the Anita of the earlier books so much more. She'd get married. I can't see this Anita doing that. lol, I can't help but to laugh. You sound like you split Anita up into 2 personalities...like Edward himself. I would be able to see Ted get married (more of just possibly actually), but I could NEVER see Edward getting married...but then again...he is unless LKH changes that in the next book.
