StoryIn a kingdom called Gallam, crime ran amuck. But not just any kind of crime, oh no! Quiet and/or well hidden crimes were what took place, ranging from professional thievery to just plain lucky vandals. Because the people who were wronged couldn't get the law to do anything to help them, constantly being told that they need more evidence for a full investigation, some decided to secretly hire people to help fix their problems ... by killing the wrong do-er! After several years, the king, King Zalbard, gave into the people's demands and legalized the hiring of trained killers, deciding to hire a few himself as bodyguards. This decision (obviously a bad one) was kept in place for generations, supported by King Zalbard's descendents; Zalbard II, Zalbard III, and Zalbard IV. Never did it occur to any of them that the very decision that they supported would eventually be the downfall of their bloodline.
Shortly after Zalbard IV took the throne and before he and his wife, the Queen, could attempt for a child, Zalbard IV was assassinated. (big surprise there, huh?) Another king came into power a year later, after much deliberation on who should take the King's place. The man that was finally chosen almost imediately declared assassins illeagal, again. This outraged certain groups, the most obvious and prominent of them being the Assassin's Guild, which was, obviously, made entirely of assassins. Because of several small rebellions all over the kingdom, most of which having been sparked by some of the assassins themselves, the new king declared the capture and turning in of any assassins to be rewarded with gold and silver, the amount of which to be decided by the assassin's number of sucsessful kills, possible attempts, social importance of their victims, ect. Because of this new income possibility, many people became bounty hunters, several of them even banding together to form The League of Hunters, the opposition to the Assassin's Guild. Now, the Kingdom of Gallam has become the home to many small skirmishes; the hunters and the assassins battling without much of an end in sight. These such skirmishes have come to be known throughout the kingdom as "The Killers' War".

As its name states, it is a guild of assassins. Formed during the reign of Zalbard II, the Assassin's Guild's purpose is to forge an alliance between several assassins, allowing one to call upon others for aid in case he or she is captured or in other danger.
League of Hunters

Second in Command-
A recently formed group who's main goal is to capture all dangerous assassins and either kill them or turn them in, though the latter is prefered as it begets more money to bring in a live assassin rather than just a corpse.

Weapon(s): A large, 21-string guzhang that, while not in battle, is wrapped in a plain, beige cloth and straped to his back by a thin but strong leather strap. His nails have been grown out and sharpened to form claws and he had them enchanted a long time ago so that they would stop growing and become harder than diamond. He typically uses these claws as picks, allowing him to play his guzhang with just his hands instead of using real picks. On rare occasions, he will use his nails like claws with attacks akin to those of the larger, wild cats.
Power(s): Using his chi, he can focus the sound waves produced by his instrument/weapon to form a variaty of solid objects, ranging from bullet-like needles to flying fists, one or more razor-sharp scimitars to even a small army of the undead. He is even capable of creating a shield with the sound waves and, with more effort, he can even repel attacks, sending them back to where they came.
Personality: He is very quiet and reserved, not likely to talk to anyone but those he absolutely trusts. He is also very mysterious, though relatively nice, as the rumors say, and may hold a conversation with a complete stranger becasue he sees the prospect of greatness in them.
History: His past is as mysterious as his present, as no one knows much of anything about him. No one even knows his real name so people just call him Gu Zhang, after his weapon/insrtument. Rumor has it that he's from a land far to the east and that he came to make a living doing what he does best; killing. He has become famous because of his official title as leader of the Assassin's Guild and his unofficial title as, arguably, the most powerful assassin of his or any day, though he always says that he won't know if it's true until he fights every assassin of any day, leaving the unofficial title up for debate. Although, most still consider him the most dangerous assassin ever seen and, thus, most hunters have been detered from hunting him.
Weaknesses and/or Special Limitations: Though he is incredibly accurate in combat, he is actualy blind. Also, most of the greater offencive and defencive capabilities of his guzhang require 1-3 full strums of all 21 stings, leaving him open for a second or two while he strums.

He also is very close ranged fighting because he at most can get a blot to two blots before he has to lose the crosbow because of the long reload time. ((I'm just gonna post a start, poeple can come in and connect themselves to it))
Perillion, with his purple silk clothes swaying about slightly with his movement, walked into a bar called The Drunken Rat, known for its watered down drinks, sleezy women, and, of course, the countless criminals that frequented its bottles, mugs, and barfights. He proceeded straight from the door to the bar, even with the fights and whatnot occuring around him, as though the action in the bar cleared itself temporarily to form an aisle for him to walk down. Taking his seat at the bar, he tapped the bar top, a mutualy understood signal between him and the bartender that meant he wanted the usual. The bartender nodded, though, why, he didn't know, seeing as how Perillion, or Gu Zhang, as everyone knew him, was blind. The bartender poured into a small, clean, rather fancy-looking cup some green tea, which he purchased in small amounts specifically for Gu Zhang, and brought it to him, setting it right in front of the famously deadly man.
Gu Zhang nodded his thanks when he heard the cup set in front of him and reached to pick it up, having to try and grab the small cup several times before finally grabbing ahold of it and bringing it to his lips, sipping a bit of the tea and setting it back down again, memorizing where he had put it. After his slightly embaressing 'search' for the cup, Gu Zhang used his heightened sence of hearing to listen for anyone that may be making fun of him or laughing at him, trying to decide whether or not to lop the person's head off.

Dante was walking through the town watching people pass him by he was heading to a bar to find Gu Zhang. He new that he had been told to hide while going through the city to avoid be noticed but he did not see the point. Even if someone reconized him in his white cloak he could easily kill them before they could tell anyone who he was and that he was a member of the assassins guild.He finnally arrives at the bar called The Drunken Rat Gu Zhang comes here a lot so if Dante could find him any where it would be here. He walks up to the bar and gets a drink "so has any one pissed you off yet Gu Zhang" looks over at his guild leader. Takes his drink and starts to drink it wonder if any hunters are in here.

Gu Zhang raised his head slightly, not bothering to look at Dante since it wouldn't do any good, anyway. He laughed slightly at Dante's question, responding in a quiet but strong voice, "Not yet. But there are some whispers about me, mostly about my killing and such. The usual." He picked up the small cup again, this time in a single try, and siped the rest of the tea up, setting the now empty cup back down on the bar, "What about you? Have any news for me?"
