Her pale coat stuck out like a sore thumb really, she was so pale in her complexion , the odd spike of black colouring her coat. The adolecent lioness padded quietly through the pridelands towards the borders. Her mother had always lived out here and she always made an effort to return to her on a daily basis, she hated to be alone.
She had informed her mother of Kibelas departure and her mother had understood, she on the other hand longed for her sister to return, her green eyes occasionally glancing to the horizon in search of that dark mottled coat. She never came though and the little lioness was left alone to dwell upon the thoughts of her sister.
The sun had already started to set but she sat, she was some way away from her mothers den but it didn't matter, she always thought the pridelands to be safe. Looking out over the horizon the golden sun slowly started to turn to crimson dying her pale body in it's deep red light. She would wait at this spot fotr a whiole for a glimpse of her sisters returning form even though she knew Kibela wasn't comeing back, it was habbit to sit and do this vigil.

Though he knew the pridelands harbored in them his 'son' and were a place he shouldn't touch for slaves, simply for the fact that one of them was bound to know Danzi, Bodaway still was making an excursion. It looked bad for him to have returned empty-pawed, after all.
With the setting of the sun, he soon found himself crossing the border. Tail flicking, he paused and looked about. Exposure to home had brought back out the Firekin in him, the proud and oft violent warrior. Gold eyes narrowed, large black nose flared for the scents of others. Nobody he'd met was present... That was good. What he saw, though... Was a black and white lioness. He watched her, then smiled. Perfect... Turning, the male went trotting towards her.

So involved in her nightly vigil, the pale lioness did not even notice the approach of the dark red male. It was only when she heard his foot paws approaching that she turned to greet golden eyes. Her ears flattened tightly against her head, though this was simply because she was meek, not be cause she was afraid. After all, those in the pridelands were good and honest beasts. Smiling then she lifted her head and gave a gentle nod before turning her gaze back to the setting suns.
Sighing gently she contemplated standing and moving on home, but she thought this would be seen as rude so stayed still and waited for the large male to join her if he so wished to. She was happy to sit at least a little longer to wait for her sisters shadow which never did appear.

As he neared, Bodaway slowed to a walk, stopping when he got close. It struck him that the Pridelands were spawning lions that could pass for Firekin now, especially with black- and white-pelted lions running around the desert. Tail curling, he walked up to the lioness. "Good evening..."

Tilting her head to look at the large red male, her pale watery eyes looked him over quietly before she spoke in soft, whisepry tones "Greetings to you too sir." She smiles weakly, her head lowering slightly in a submissive manner, she was forever the nievest of lionesses, she was not afraid of ther large male, just because she didn't know him didn't meanhe wasn't a pridelander. If anything she trusted everyone within the pridelands, it had been a place of saftey her whole life, why would this change?

Bodaay nodded back, stopping next to her. "You look like you're thinking of something... May I ask what?" He didn't just see a lioness... He saw a slave. But he wasn't going to mention that part... Not yet. Maybe she was niave enough to talk into following him...

Radi smiled, it wasn't unusual for pridelanders to stop and talk. She was usually too shy to start up a conversation but she was also too polite to simply ignore the big male. "Ih..well i was thinking of my sister, she left not too long ago." She pointed off in to the distance. "I kind of wait every night hopeing she might come back." She sighs softly her watery green eyes looking out in to the distance saddly. "She promised she would one day I just don't know when one day is so i always wait to see if she will show up." She smiles in a sort of embaressed manner, she knew the words sounded foolish, but it was her own private mission to do this on a nightly basis.

"Then why don't you go find her?" He watched her a moment, then looked out into the desert. "She could be enslaved somewhere, hoping a loved one will find her." His tail flicked a bit as his mind worked the words out, placing them carefully. "I could go with you, help you find her..."

"Enslaved?" the word rolled off her tongue in a surprised manner, her ears flattening tightly against her head. "How could that be? Kibela..Kibela she wouldn't be.." but the thought had been put in to her head now. The world outside the pridelasnds frighetned her more than she dared admit, her flighty heart raced as she considered her options.
Of course when Bodaway offered his help her soft green eyes brightened. "You would help me?" She whispers. "but, you don't evenknow my name." She squeeks her pale ears flattening against her head, those perfectly soft green eyes sparkling innocently.

The male only smiled sweetly at her, "One does not need names to help another, child." He rose to his paws, motioning with his head. "Come, I'll keep you safe from the dangers beyond the borders." He flicked his tail just a bit, waiting for her reply. Of course she could trust him... He was a big, strong lion, after all, with a kind smile.

She paused for a moment the pale female an dlooked back accross the pridelands. This place was home and her heart tugged strongly in ehr chest to stay put. But her heart also wished to go forwards with this big strong, careing male whom wanted to help her, whom wanted to take her to her sister and help her if she so needed.
Swallowing hard the green eyed femme took up pace behind Bodaway her tail dragging along the ground, though she swiftly lifted it. She had to be brave, after all Kibela would be brave in this situation! She had to know her sister was safe. "Well, my name is radi any way." She whispers catching up to the large blood red male.

Turning his face so she couldin't see, Bodaway smirked just a bit. This was easy enough... Steadily, he crossed the border into the desert. Large paws moved carefully over the sands, still warm from the sunlight. "I am Bodaway..." He offered no more... Not yet. He'd tell her more... Later.

Radi smiled weakly and nodded, her pale features looking nievly pleased. She had gone beyond her usual routine and crossed the border, what was more she was doing it for her sister.
It didn't even occur to her that she didn't know this big male lion, infact she simply assumed him to be a large pridelander very willing to help her. Letting a sigh cross her lips, she swallowed her fear, thinking breifly of her family, of her mother. She guessed they would be as happy as she to see her return with her sister. Afterall they would probably be back by morning. Kibela couldn't possibly have gone that far.

Leading her over the dunes, Bodaway made certain they were well within the Motoujamii territory. He had it all figured out - This was the lion he'd present to Kiunguza as her personal slave. After all, shouldn't a princess have her own slave? A princess who was a mother, at that! A grin plastered itself upon his maw as he chuckled at the idea.

The pale female followed without question, her soft green eyes forever scouting the world around them. The soft sands were much cooler than those of the pridelands. She shivered slightly as they traipsed further in to a land she didn't know, a land she guessed she would not be able to navigate back out of without Bodaways help.
A Feeling of forebodeing rose in her stomach though she swallowed it down as hard as she could. The male had come to help her find her sister. he would take her home once they had found her..right?
