im so excited about Scott's new book Extras.
its a companion novel to the Uglies trilogy.
is anybody else antsy about this?

totally OMG! although i haven't read Specials yet. i just got it in paperback this weekend, and i'm reading Uglies and Pretties again first, cuz it's been a few years. but man do i love them. so bubbly making.

(im gunna pretend im happy atm even though i just found out that my grandpa died)
omg i know!
but when i had to wait for a book it was like the last one was still fresh in my head no matter how long it was.
im addicted!

I really want it to come out soon, but it'll probably take a good while for me to read it. :/
I mean, I've seen only one of his books available here [I'm brazilian and stuff], so he's not a very known author here. D:
But I'm really excited about it. <3

Nina Chiimari I really want it to come out soon, but it'll probably take a good while for me to read it. :/
I mean, I've seen only one of his books available here [I'm brazilian and stuff], so he's not a very known author here. D:
But I'm really excited about it. <3 if i felt like it i would say "omg i could totally just ship some books to you!"

Whahaha...
I'm so glad he's making another one.
That series is a lot more than just a good book.
It actually has a good message and makes you think, I've made my little sister read it... and she is hooked and loves them.
Oh, and Nina... You can always get them offline!

I got Extras yesterday. biggrin I'm on page 291 and it's pretty good so far. I'll probably finish it tomorow, it's such a big book, it's like a brick.

I read Extras a couple of days ago. It wasn't as good as Specials, but its still pretty great.

I finished Extras a few days ago. It was *sooooooooo* good. I didn't like it *as* much as the others but it was still wicked awsome. I LOVE Frizz. (I think i spelled his name wrong.) Did anyone notice the many errors in grammar and spelling? (mostly grammar though.) But this is understandable. I loved it.

I got it the other day, for about $12.50, compared to the normal $18. XD
Although I haven't read any of the others in taht series yet, because nowhere ever has it in stock <_< especially now with him coming to town...

So, my younger sister... who is 12, read the book.
Because I got her to start reading the other ones a long while back and she loved them alot.
However, she told me she thinks Extra's "sucked", and that the main character is annoying.
Also, she said nothing really happens in the book.
So, is it really that bad and are any of those things slightly true?

Well, I guess I should mark my post as...
*SPOILERS*
Extras does tend to get kinda boring. Nothing does really happen; there is no major action scene or climax, basically, Aya has to stop Tally from blowing up the rockets, but no action. In Specials, you were constantly reminded that a war was beginning and you knew there would be a lot of action, and there was. I was hoping there would be more in Extras, since, it is the final volume in the series.
