Name: I am known as Danrei-san.
Alias(es): Well, my real name is Danikrei, and I am also known as the fox yurei at one time.
Age: 16
Hair: Short and raven-colored. I usually tie some of it back in a ribbon and a flower shaped pin.
Eye: Dark brown
Outfit: I ususally wear a white kimono with a red sash and red trimmings at the end. I always carry my sword in my sash and a paper fan in my sleeve.
Family: I come from a long line of female yureis and ninjas. Most of my family, which is quite large, live in Japan working at a museum of ancient Japan history. I consider the ECC and my flames Chi and Ki as my closest family.
Role: I work as a yurei/ninja hero to help rid the world of the horror that is Danneh-san.............I'm also a part-time stalker of ND-chan.
Relationship Status: I'm deeply in love with the honorable Ninja Danny-chan. Isn't he so wonderful?
Pets: Er....I guess that Chi-chan and Ki-chan would be pets....sort uh...in a way.
Close friends: My closest friend would definitely be Wolf-chan. Angel-san would is also very dear to me as well as my beloved Chi-chan and Ki-chan. ND-chan is also very wonderful!
Personal Enemies: Anger is both mine and Wolf-san greatest enemy...mainly because we...er...locked him in a room with rabid badgers. Now he wants to kill us. Imagine that. Degona-san and I really don't get along that well because we both love ND-chan.
Other Info:
~The reason for Danrei's love for ND is because when Danny and Vlad traveled through time and came to the past Japan, ND saved one of Danrei's ancestors from Vlad's attack at the temple. It was love at first sight for Danrei's ancestor and when she went to pick up ND's sword which he had left behind, some of his ghostly energy was still in it and caused Danrei's ancestor to become a yurei. From that moment on, every female in Danrei's family born a yurei has been in love with ND and have searched for him so they could repay him for saving their ancestor with their love.
~The sword that Danrei carries is the same that ND had left behind in the past.
~Because she is Japanese, Danrei frequently switches from speaking English to Japanese, much to the annoyance of her friends. She mostly swears or threatens people in japanese.
~Not only are Chi-chan and Ki-chan her personal yurei flames, but they help her fight in battle. They can turn into a pair of flame foxes or cats and tackle people. Mostly they just like to tease or play pranks on the members of the ECC or Danneh's gang.
~Her weaknesses are riceballs, cats, anime, plushies, and ND.
Danrei is definitely one of the most unusual character you will ever meet for more than one reason. I'm not really sure what inspired me to create her. Probably most of it is from my love of anime, manga, and anything Japanese. 3nodding She has many unusual traits, some that come directly from my own personality and some from various characters from anime and manga. I'll try to explain her character in the simplest and best way I can. sweatdrop
Half-Yurei
When I first joined the ECC, I wanted to make a character named after myself with my own personality, but after thinking about it, I realized that that wasn't much of a challenge and decided to make an entirely new character. During that time I was reading a nice KND comic from Deviantart which was about Number Three dying and coming back as a ghost which the artist called a "yurei". This interested me and I looked up "yurei" on Wiki and found out that a yurei was a japanese ghost, usually a girl, that was usually accompanied by a pair of blue or red floating flames called Hitodama.
Well, since the ECC is about Danny Phantom and since yureis were a type of ghosts, I thought it was best to make a character that was half-yurei. That also meant creating a pair of cute, mischevious flames named Chi and Ki which would add a bit of humor to the story. whee
In the RP, the reason for Danrei being a yurei is because her ancestor picked up the sword that ND left behind after fighting Vlad and some of his ghostly energy was sucked into her, making her half-yurei. Since then, all the females in Danrei's family has been born half-yurei...and in love with ND.
Name
Danrei's name is a combination of Danny's name and the japanese word for ghost which is "rei". I'm not sure where the name's for Chi and Ki came from. It just sounded cute.
Love Obsession
Yes, the inspiration for Danrei's obsessive love for ND. Well, that probably came from reading too much "Fruit's Basket". One of my favorite characters in it is the Boar Zodiac, a girl named Kagura. Kagura's in love with the Cat Zodiac named Kyo and she shows her love by being very violent.....to Kyo.XDDDD This is the opposite of Danrei, who is very gentle and loving towards ND, often calling him Ninja Danny-Chan and agreeing with anything he says. However, she can be very violent, jealous, and rage-ridden to those who try to take ND away from her or try to hurt her friends.
Even though ND had never seen her before, Danrei has been in love with ND for most of her life as have most of the females in her family. This is due to the fact that hundreds years before, her ancestor worked as a temple maid for one of the ancient temples in Japan. When Vlad traveled through time and attacked the temple and her, Danny came in the form of a ninja and saved her. It was love at first sight. Since that day, all of Danrei's female ancestors have been in love with ND and have traveled the world in hopes of repaying ND for saving them with their love.
Even though she is still obsessively love with ND, she may be starting to develop feelings for one of her friends, though she may just dismiss them as just waves of friendship (not going to name any names, but you probably guess who it is.XP).
Also, some inspirations for her love obsession can be traced back to some old japanese folklore I read and heard about. In japanese legends, there are numerous tales of a woman loving a man who had to go off to a war or battle of some kind and the woman waited for the man to come back, her love still burning for him. The woman eventually dies and her spirit returns, still madly in love with the man. Lol, I think there was a Pokemon episode like that.XDD
Personality
It's very hard to descibe her personality throughly. Her personality is very similar to many characters from other anime and manga character's. Here's a few that might give you a clear idea.
Starfire: (From Teen Titans) Both have gentle and sweet personalities that can become violent at a moment's notice. They also love cute things and have trouble with words due to being from foreign places.
Kaguma: (Fruit's Basket) Both are obsessively in love with a boy that has no interest in them.
Alphonse Elric: (Full Metal Alchemist) Worries a lot about her friends and tries to keep out of unnecessary conflict.
Katara: (Avatar) Have a sisterly attitude towards her friends and tries to help out whenever possible, but will loose her temper once and awhile.
Suki: (Avatar) Basically because she uses ninja skills and a metal fan to fight.
Powers
She has most of the basic ghost powers due to being a half-yurei which is a type of ghost, but most of her abilities are based on her ninja skills which are quite advance. She uses a ninja sword, which had once belonged to ND in the past, and a metal fan to fight. She also has some power over the wind and of flames. Chi and Ki both help her in any way possible during a fight by burning her weaker opponents (mainly paper kittens). She also has a specail connection to foxes, making all her special attacks come in the form of a fox.
History
Danrei was born in Japan into a large family who owned an ancient museum of Japane history. At the age of thirteen, she left to go to America in hopes of finding her love, ND. It was there where she learned English and when she was sixteen, met the ECC.
Japanese Heritage
Due to my love with Japanese stuff, I made my character from Japanese descent. Though Danrei has lived in New York, America, for the last three years, she still prefers to speak in her native tongue and frequently switches from speaking English to speaking Japanese, much to the annoyance of her friends. She still loves her old Japanese shows (though not any of the horror movies) and loves to eat food from Japan like riceballs and sushi. She loves to read manga and adores cute things like kittens and plushies.
